Kenya awoke to the annoying sound of her phone going off. She looked over at the clock to see that it was only a little past 6 am. She sighed Must be an assignment. It better be something good she thought. Kenya sighed and answered her phone right before the last ring. She barely got out a hello before some angry man on the other end started cursing her out. It amused her to hear her boss yell at her, she had cover her mouth with her hand in order to keep herself from laughing. When he finally recovered from his fit of rage, he let out a long sigh and began to tell her of her assignment. Kenya paid close attention as he began to tell her of her next target. Reluctantly she rolled out of bed and began to dress herself. Nothing too extravagant just a plain black tee, camo pants, and her favorite pair of tims. She threw her shoulder length dark red hair into a messy bun and began to assemble the essentials, all the while still listening to her briefing. Kenya reached for the small suitcase that was placed beside her bedside table. The suitcase was always there in case of a time like this. Kenya opened and quickly checked to make sure everything was in place. Passport? Check. Weapons? Check. Emergency money? Check. Fake IDs? Check. Clothes? Check. Kenya had just finished her inventory check as her boss said, "Be at the airport by 8. Your plane leaves shortly after." he said before hanging up.
Kenya sighed and decided to grab some breakfast before heading out. She made her way to her small kitchen and fixed herself some oatmeal and coffee. "Breakfast of champions." she said smiling to herself. By 6:30 Kenya was heading out the door to her car parked out front of the apartment she was renting. Kenya made her way to the airport and was boarding the plane by 8 am sharp. She chose a seat in the very back and was to get a seat by the window. Kenya pushed her suitcase against the wall of the plane with her leg. She hated putting her baggage overhead and avoided it as much as possible. Kenya settled back into her seat and watched as the plane began to take off. The plane wasn't too crowded ,however, she did get stuck with some creepy guy who wanted to talk to her the whole time. This is going to be a long journey she thought.
