Races of Lithevum
Humans: Humans are found in every nook and cranny of the world, and can adapt to just about any climate. The only place humans are not commonly found is underground, but they will occasionally go underground for trade or to live in dark elf cities.

Elves: Elves are rumored to be the oldest race of Lithevum. They have spread everywhere, and had adapted to their surroundings over time. Humans have bred with elves to create half elves, which are considered by some to be a completely new race.
  • Wood Elves (temperate forests)
  • Silver Elves (arctic/cold forests)
  • Sun Elves (desert)
  • Green Elves (jungle/rainforest)
  • Dark Elves (underground)
  • Half Elves (varies)
Dwarves: Dwarves are smaller folk who pride themselves on their craftsmanship of various materials, but specifically metal and rock. Many can be found working as blacksmiths and masons in the cities.
  • Mountain Dwarves (mountain)
  • Hill Dwarves (temperate)
  • Cave Dwarves (underground)
Orcs: A particularly savage race who prefer to stay away from "civilized" society. They make their own tribes in the wilds. While many will attack travelers for their goods, they do have their own morals. Orcs are not inherently evil, and are known to occasionally work in the cities. There is still prejudice towards them, however.
  • Plains Orcs (temperate plains)
  • Gray Orcs (arctic)
  • Barrens Orcs (desert)
  • Half Orcs (varies)
Fae: Fae are mostly made up of the many "little people" of the world. While many are tricksters who mean little to no harm, some can be dangerous and bloodthirsty. Many fae live in the wilds, but a good mass of them also live in cities.

Most are lacking in wings, but some do have them.

Major Gods
Tela- The Goddess of Creation, Life, Light, and all things Good. Often called The Mother of Creation. Tela created everything good in the world. Sister to Cidia. Symbol is an oak tree. Lawful Good.

Cidia- The Goddess of Darkness, Death, and all things Evil. Often called the Mother of Ash or The Ashen One. Cidia created the evil in Tela's creation. Sister to Tela. Symbol is a skull wreathed in ash leaves. Lawful Evil.

Aviri- God of Magic, Time, and Magical Beasts. Known as The Traitor, The Magician of Ages, or Father of Creation. He taught mortals magic against the sister's will, and attempted to erase the true creation story from history, and make his own. According to his followers, he shed light on the truth and stopped the sisters from taking credit for his work. Created by Tela and Cidia. Symbol is a silver eight pointed star. Chaotic Neutral.

Drigka- Goddess of Bloody War, Violence, and Slaughter. Known as The Imprisoned, The Scarlet Lady, and the Warmonger. Created by Cidia against Tela's wishes. Started the bloodiest war in history, the War of the Gods. Many of the population of Lithevum was lost, and Drigka was imprisoned and punished for starting it. It's rumored that her sentence is nearly finished. Chaotic Evil. Symbol is a crossed blade and axe.

Valentian- God of Strategic War, Duty, and Victory. Created by Tela in retaliation to Cidia creating Drigka. Known as The Great General and The Iron Warrior. Was the leader of the force that mounted the attack on Drigka's realm and successfully sealed her away. Valentian nearly lost his life during this battle, and remains scarred. Lawful Good. Symbol is a warhammer crossed over a shield.

Zurutyr- God of Disease, Vermin, and Poison. Created by Cidia. Known as The Alchemist and The Lord of Filth. Was created to bring disease and suffering to the creation. He showed mortals how to use poisons, and also diseased those he deemed worthy. He gave the god Thisen his signature poison, melica, which is always a sure sign of divine intervention. Zurutyr will give mortals this poison for a very large price, usually involving becoming a carrier for his newest diseases. Neutral Evil. Symbol is a centipede wrapped around a skeletal hand.

Carric- God of Health, Wellbeing, and Travel. Created by Cidia in response to Zurutyr. Known as The Healer and The Traveler. Carric was part of the attack on Drigka, and helped to seal her into her realm. Carric saved Valentian's life, but as a very humble god, requires no honor for it. He encourages his clergy to heal whoever might need help, and to not neglect anyone in need. Neutral Good. Symbol is a unicorn rearing,

Erianthe- Goddess of Balance, Peace, and Mercy. Was created by Tela and Cidia. Known as The Silver Death and Lady of Mercy. The sister goddesses created Erianthe as a mediator and judge of the gods, and once Erianthe was created, they avoided creating any other deities. Erianthe did not take part in the War of the Gods, and merely locked herself and her passed worshippers into her realm, attacking anyone who attempted to directly attack her. She orders her clergy to remain completely neutral in every war and battle, and to only bring peace and balance. They believe in fighting in the name of peace. Erianthe absolutely detests undead, as they upset the balance between life and death, so orders her clergy to kill any they come across. She leads a purge of the undead every 200 years or so. True Neutral. Symbol is a circle split down the middle, one half black and the other white.
