Many hundreds of years ago, humans and shifters lived right along side of one another. There was peace, understanding, and friendship between the races. It was a peace that would last until the very end of the human's days.
Time moved on, as time always will, and soon the world righted itself, but not before we had to adapt.
Our world is healthy again, and birds sing in the trees...but we are alone. Aside from the beasts that live among us, the humans are never to return. They cast their stones to their future and reaped what they sowed. But that is not our worry now and it has not been for many hundreds.
