This month's notable post is from the RP Green Thorne Bed and Breakfast and was posted by Dawn. The post was nominated because the character came across extremely adorable and easy to relate to.

There was a saying that went a little something like this: "Speak of the devil and he shall appear." Well, there was a saying that was very similar that Joshua had taken to believing in. "Think of Noah and he shall appear..." he muttered to himself as he caught a flash of plaid and a beard heading his way. He pretended not to notice though, because maybe he'd be spared the uncomfortable close proximity that his boss was so fond of if he could just manage to avoid eye-contact. Maybe Noah would pass him by if he didn't move. Maybe he'd be able to get through this week without all of the blood rushing to his face.

The featured roleplay of the month is Celestial Avians and is GMed by Dovahkiin. This roleplay is about a special school that holds some unique members. These unique members have tattoos of bird constellations that give them special abilities! What constellation are you connected to?

Cygnus, the swan. Aquila, the eagle. Columba, the dove. Corvus, the raven or crow. Pavo, the peacock. Grus, the crane. Tucana, the toucan. Apus, the bird of paradise. The strangest part of these bird constellations is that you have one of them tattooed somewhere on your body in silver ink, but you don't remember ever getting the tattoo.

The Staff Member of the Month is Grumpy! He has helped design some new ideas and bring back some fun past ideas in the Community Volunteers group as well as providing friendly and funny comments in Cbox. He's also very active in the General Forums, giving other members a chance to learn more about dreams and giving them an opportunity to let others into their sometimes messed up minds and share their dream experiences with Iwaku!

Roleplay Member of the Month: Redwinter. After her initial joinup, she's been enthusiastically joining and politely asking questions about roleplay, as well as eagerly trying to run her own. She's been a positive member of the roleplays she's in and posting story-driving and character developing contributions.

The Member of the Month is...Cosmos! Over the month she's posted some real thinkers in General Chat, providing some interesting debates and views. Cosmos has also been greeting newcomers to Iwaku in the New Arrivals forum, leaving friendly messages to help newbies feel welcome to our wonderful community! She's also put up some wonderful posts in the Creative Challenges section as well as putting up some art in the Museum! Congrats Cosmos and have a wonderful New Year!

The beginning of a new year is fresh and exciting for one who is so emotionally in tune as yourself, because the feelings of beginning anew are enough to make you both anxious and excited. Remember that you don't need to accomplish everything in the first month!

There will be obstacles in the future and few are quite so realistically aware as you are when you look to the future. However, you must allow yourself to enjoy the time as it comes and to worry less.

There is much to be glad for with this new month and if you remind yourself of this and do not take yourself too seriously in the haze of resolutions and trying to create a better year, you will do better. Do not be afraid and rather face things with a brave heart. Confidence takes you far.

Loneliness might set in for you as the new year dawns and everyone, it seems, has someone and while you might not be single, that feeling of malaise is sure to creep into everyone's heart at some time. Take a moment to appreciate the people close to you and hopefully it will quickly pass.

There is little to define the two years as they blur together before your eyes.
