The towns lucky location halfway between anything and the capital made it into a resting spot for any traveler taking the way. Which meant that most of the inhabitants were either working in the hotels and road-houses. The bigger amount of populace being those on their way through, a peculiar way of life for those living there permanently.
But something strange has swept through the town, a trail of deaths and murders, suicides and accidents, mutilations without any apparent culprit. And those staying the night has taken to hide in their rooms, staying inside, staying alone.
When the mornings first rays of light shines over the town, the inhabitants will find that they are trapped, a quarantine encircling their city. Because whatever is responsible for countless deaths shall not be allowed to escape. The unit sent to handle the situation will make sure of that.
