Hello,
I've been roleplaying for longer than I care to admit, which is testament more to my age than my skill level. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to explore new genres and subject matter in an attempt to improve my writing. I could prattle on a bit longer, but what would be the point? I'd only be trying to impress folks with my wit, charm, and self-deprecating humor. None of which gets me to the roleplaying any faster.

That "Get to the point" style you mentioned is probably just a lack of being able to think of anything interesting to say. That said, if it comes across as a stylistic choice, maybe I'll stick with it.
