In Character:Halo: Into The Midnight Sun
So, I had this idea where the UNSC (Halo universe) Comes into contact with the Helghast of Killzone universe and a war breaks out. Now, there will be no Spartans. I repeat no Spartans. They would easily just wipe out dozens of Helghast due to their augmented abilities. You can play Helghast as you wish, for the UNSC its the standard Marine--or the ODST. Keep in mind ODSTs are used for covert missions, not firefights though, they can get out of sticky situations. Also, take in the effect that Helghast are heavily armed and armored and are unlike any race the UNSC has faced; while not outright more advanced their weaponry is nonetheless dangerous and shouldn't be taken lightly. Their bullets can pierce the titanium plates that cover most grunt soldiers. As the UNSC will find out they are a hellacious and innovative enemy that is just as relentless as any Covenant remnants.
I'm looking for recruits for the ODST unit ONI Black.

Brief History: (1-2 Paragraphs)
- Individual Combat Weapon System, Caliber 7.62 mm, MA5D, more commonly known as the MA5D Individual Combat Weapon System, MA5D ICWS, or simply as the MA5D assault rifle. The MA5D ICWS is a gas-operated, magazine-fed, automatic assault rifle designed to execute close-quarters combat with lethal efficiency, regardless of hostile counter-op, environmental conditions, or duration of use in the field. The MA5D fires the 7.62 NATO round. Like previous incarnations, the MA5D also contains a built-in ammo counter and compass.
- The M396 Designated Marksman Rifle is one of the most powerful infantry firearms utilized by the UNSC. Replacing the M395 DMR, the M396 is it's a direct successor, sharing many components and design features. The rifle is heavier than most other infantry firearms, though using light composite metals and polymers reduced this weight. The rifle uses the massive 10.2x51mm round, which can cause horrendous damage on impact.
- The M55C Enhanced Battle Rifle is, along with the MA5A Individual Combat Weapon System one of the two main small arms issued to UNSC ground troops. The weapon has undergone several major and minor changes from the BR55, its ancestor, but remains outwardly similar.
- The M739C Squad Automatic Weapon is the UNSC's lightened LMG, giving units a lighter and adaptable light support weapon when the M122 is too large and heavy. This allows squad-based units to produce triple their normal amount of firepower against infantry targets.
- The M6H Personal Defense Weapon System is an M6 Series-handgun manufactured by Misriah Armory. It is an up-sized Officer's model and has a smart-linked KFA-2 ×2 scope and an electroless nickel finish. It was adopted as the standard-issue personal sidearm of all branches of the UNSC by 2555.
- The M319 Individual Grenade Launcher, more formally known as the Individual Grenade Launcher, Caliber 40mm, M319,[2] is a single-shot, break-action explosives launcher used by the United Nations Space Command, specifically the UNSC Army. Due to its simplicity, ruggedness, and firepower, it has been a mainstay weapon in the UNSC Army since its adoption in 2263 and has seen action in several armed conflicts during nearly three centuries of use, with the Human-Covenant war as the most prominent. It saw use during the Fall of Reach.
- M45D Tactical Shotgun is the UNSC's primary shotgun and is one of the most effective close-range infantry weapons used by front line forces. The M90 Shotgun is a pump-action, magazine-fed, dual tubular non-detachable type weapon designed from the M45E Tactical Shotgun.
- The M6C/SOCOM (M6S), also known as the Automag, is a semi-automatic pistol and a variant of the M6C magnum sidearm. It is used by UNSC special operations units. It is the secondary weapon of special forces Orbital Drop Shock Troopers and is used in operations that rely on stealth rather than direct engagements.
- The Sniper Rifle System 99-Series 5 Anti-Matériel (SRS99-S5 AM) The SRS99-S5 AM is a gas-operated, magazine-fed, semi-automatic Sniper Rifle. This weapon has exceptional accuracy and the ability to take out energy shielding and high-density armor alike. This weapon has a four-round magazine and has a tan color on the stock and scope.
- The M20 is visually similar to its predecessor, though it differs in using a new high-velocity armor-piercing round that increases the amount of kinetic energy imparted to the target, specifically developed to counter the proliferation of military-grade armor among Insurrectionist cells and as a response to Covenant energy shield technology. The weapon uses top-mounted magazines of cased ammunition rather than the side-mounted magazines of caseless ammunition used by the M7. Otherwise, the weapon is very similar, featuring an adjustable grip under the weapon and a telescoping stock which can be retracted, allowing the weapon to be fired one-handed. Although the most commonly issued model features a CQB sight attachment, the weapon also accommodated an array of extended barrels, sound suppressors, laser targeters and recoil stabilizers. The weapon is also compatible with kinetic bolts that impart more kinetic energy to the target
A suppressed version of the M7/Caseless Submachine Gun, known simply as the M7S Submachine Gun, is also available for UNSC special operations.
- Long Barrel: Increases range of bullet magnetism and aim assist.
- Laser Targeter: Increases weapon accuracy by reducing bullet spread.
- Silencer: a device attached to a firearm to reduce the amount of noise and flash generated by firing the weapon. It generally takes the form of a cylindrical-shaped metal tube that is attached to the barrel of a firearm, with various internal mechanisms to reduce the sound of firing by slowing the escaping propellant gas, and sometimes by reducing the velocity of the bullet.
- Stabilization Jets: Helps control vertical recoil.
- Kinetic Bolts: Augments knockback and damage against vehicles.
- Extended Magazine: Increases both ready and reserve ammunition capacity by up to 40%.
- Threat Marker: Tracks targeted enemy personnel for a short time.
- Sound Dampener: Increases effective range and reduces firing signature.
- Long Barrel: Increases range of bullet magnetism and aim assist.
- The StA409 Assault Rifle The StA409 continues with Helghast weapon design tradition, favouring volume of fire over accuracy with a high rate of fire. While the Keyzer features a smaller magazine than its previous incarnation, it is also vastly improved in terms of recoil and bullet spread. The new motorized drum magazine also allows for a faster reload, since the magazine lock will automatically move into place when the magazine is pushed in.
The StA409 can be equipped with the usual array of weapon sights, including the Holographic sight and the ACOG, whilst coming with a red Dot-Laser as standard. The StA409 comes equipped with a vertical fore-grip as standard, although an underslung shotgun, as well as an underslung grenade launcher.
- The StA-3 Stova Light Machine Gun is used by the Helghast as a support weapon and emplaced weapon. It fires from a 100 round, helical drum and has a very high rate of fire. However, its accuracy leaves something to be desired due to the recoil of the 7.62 x 51 mm HSO cartridge, limiting accurate fire to very short bursts. The StA-3 also lacks iron sights, only providing a mediocre (and rather imprecise) "zoom" which further adds to its horrible accuracy at longer ranges. It excels as a close-range weapon, allowing for indiscriminate spraying, but is also effective at medium to long range in the hands of a skilled shooter.
- The StA-18 Pistol is the standard-issue Helghast pistol manufactured by Stahl Arms and a staple of the Helghast Army during the Second Extrasolar War. It fires the 9.2x20mm cartridges, as written on the magazine, but holds only 12 rounds in a helical magazine on the front of the weapon.
- The StA-7 is primarily used for covert infiltration missions. It has a high rate of fire and low recoil. However, it has an extremely low damage output and very low range. It makes up for its flaws somewhat by having a fairly large capacity of 48 bullets per magazine.
- StA-62 Minigun is a new weapon developed by Stahl Arms. When mounted, it carries an infinite amount of ammo, but when unmounted, it has a maximum round capacity of 300, which it can burn through rapidly. It cannot be reloaded (unless remounted or resupplied at an ammo box) but boasts a high rate of high-strength fire that can shred infantry with alarming swiftness and huge damage output
- The StA-12's main gimmick is that it makes use of incendiary rounds. It utilizes a drum magazine with a fairly low ammo count,
- The StA-14 Rifle is a mainstay in the Helghast arsenal, t fires 7.62 x 51 mm high-speed, armor-piercing rounds and is very accurate, useful for picking off distant enemies. Exceptions are the fact that there is no internal magazine and en bloc clip, it has a cylindrical magazine, just like virtually all Helghast weaponry.
- The StA-X3 W.A.S.P. Launcher an automatic multi-shot rocket launcher. The W.A.S.P. can be fired in a burst mode which can be fired several times in its clip or in an artillery mode which depletes the whole clip but does considerably more damage. It can also be mounted or carried separately.
