Hello, and welcome to HALFLIGHT: Calamity Progress. Thank you for checking it out. Please read through the overview information provided below in order to choose what type of Godglaive you're most interested in playing. The rules for this roleplay as well as the character sheet is provided at the end of the post. Any questions you may have should be asked via Discord or PM, this thread is only for sheet submissions. Thank you.

pj9b3FL.png
CENTURION

With paper-thin defenses, and extraordinary destructive force, the CENTURION is a glass-cannon whose primary job is to inflict irreparable damage to the enemy. CENTURION are of average speed, outclassing any normal human, but fall vastly behind the VALKYRIE.

Destructive Power: ▰▰▰▰▰▰
Resilience: ▰▰▱▱▱▱
Agility: ▰▰▰▱▱▱
Stability: ▰▰▰▰▱▱
Ascension: ▰▰▰▰▰▱

VALYKRIE

Possessing incredible spee and tremendous resilience, the VALKYRIE is a durable fighter, especially dangerous in prolonged conflicts, where their lack of pure power lessens in importance. They lack the brute force to strike down enemies with few blows, but can outlast almost any opponent.

Destructive Power: ▰▰▱▱▱▱
Resilience: ▰▰▰▰▰▰
Agility: ▰▰▰▰▰▱
Stability: ▰▰▰▱▱▱
Ascension: ▰▰▰▰▰▱

VANGUARD

The deliberate middle way of Godglaive research, VANGUARDS are the definition of balance, and have no evident weaknesses. They have no specialization, and are all-rounders, capable of working within any environment. VANGUARDS are publicly the most accepted Godglaives.

Destructive Power: ▰▰▰▰▱▱
Resilience: ▰▰▰▱▱▱
Agility: ▰▰▰▰▱▱
Stability: ▰▰▰▰▱▱
Ascension: ▰▰▰▰▱▱

CIPHER

CIPHER are unique, in that they usually don't wield Pieces of Eden, but instead possess seemingly supernatural powers, enabled by purposely increasing their Parca Count. In contrast to other Godglaives, a CIPHER's AWAKENING is more stable, and less likely to undergo Desynchronization. CIPHER are especially suited for infiltration and inland missions.

Destructive Power: ▰▰▰▰▰▱
Resilience: ▰▰▰▱▱▱
Agility: ▰▰▰▱▱▱
Stability: ▰▰▰▰▰▱
Ascension: ▰▰▰▱▱▱

CHARACTER SHEET & RULES

- All Iwaku rules apply.
- The posting expectations are "Advanced", but I don't require novels. Quality over quantity. As a vague guideline, posts should be a minimum of 2-3 paragraphs, so as to give enough for anyone involved to reply properly, and not exceed 8-9. If you're uncomfortable writing decently-sized posts, or simply lazy, this may not be the roleplay for you.
- Posting pace will be at least weekly, ideally faster, but nobody will be kicked 'cause they need 8 days or anything like that.
- For now, no doubling; one character per player.
- No drama or fighting OOC. Keep it nice.
- Though explicit sexual content won't be part of this roleplay, because of mature themes this roleplay will be available only to adult members aged eighteen and up. Exceptions may be made for those aged 17, but I reserve the right to decide on a cases to case basis.

halflight - Xiao Bai's theme

Xiao Bai

NAME: Bai Xiao
PETAL: SUNDAY
GENDER: Female ♀
AGE: 21
DATE OF BIRTH: 04/08/86
CLASSIFICATION: VALK

APPEARANCE: Bai is a young woman of average appearance, standing at 5'6", with an unassuming build. Like many young women and girls within her community, she sports bangs, and usually wears her dark hair tied in a ponytail, valuing simple and graceful functionality over intricate fashion trends. What really sets Bai apart from most of her fellow citizens is an unrelenting look of cautious optimism gleaming inside her green eyes, and the clarity of goodwill imbued in her otherwise plain features. Though these times dictate worried frowns for most people, Bai exudes hopefulness, if only unintentionally.

Bai prefers simple outfits, usually consisting of mono-colored shirts and jeans, or leggings, and jackets chosen based on their comfort and quality, rather than appearance. Her signature look consists of high-collared coats, oversized sweaters, and simple leggings. That being said, Bai is far from blind or apathetic to style and image, it just doesn't come to her as easily as it does to others, and it doesn't take priority over more pressing issues in her life. Still, she is making sure to maintain excellent posture, just as her parents had preached for the entirety of her childhood. She also secretly awaits the day an opportunity to wear her parent's gifted traditional garb presents itself, as the colorful silk cheers her up every time she sees it.

PERSONALITY:
Never one to give up, Bai is hopelessly determined to fight for the well-being and freedom of others, and encourages the people she meets during her journey to do the same. Though she is as prone as any other person to suffering from grief, or losing hope when faced with seemingly unmanageable obstacles, she is unwilling to stop her endeavors, which is why she is relentlessly loyal to HORUS and their cause. Even at her young age, Bai has proven that she possesses tremendous empathy and the ability to connect with people. She often spends her time trying to raise morale and rally the people of whatever city or den she is stationed at, and considers her efforts successful if she changed only a single person's outlook with her stupidly cheerful speeches and promises of a great future.

Being born into a somewhat stable family, within a fairly well-off community on the outskirts of an actual city, Bai feels privileged, and not only feels required to, but deeply wishes to pay the world at large back her fortunate upbringing, and thus not only takes pride in her work as a Godglaive, but feels a genuine wish to protect and fight for as many people as she can. Nevertheless, she is no violent person at heart, and feels no joy when slaying a Proxy, seeing it as an uninevitable task that must be done, and nothing more.

Likes:
- Hot tea
- The scene of oranges
- Unity
- Easy-going people

Dislikes:
- Children living in poverty
- Class divide
- Rude or self-absorbed people
- Unnecessary conflict

BIOGRAPHY:
Having been born into well-off circumstances in the city of Zhouji, Bai has been shielded from many of the horrors the average citizen endures from the very beginning of their lives. Though, like most of the privileged children in the world today, she had learned of the state of the world, and about the dangers of it, no amount of reading and studying can compare to actually living in such a world on a day to day basis.
From an early age, Bai felt obliged to give back to the world, and to contribute as much as she could to make others feel better. Unlike most of her friends and fellow students, Bai never avoided interactions with the street dwellers and lowly worker folk, and she never felt above any of them. However, her parents made it clear to her that such interactions were prohibited, punishing her harshly. Even then, she wished to bridge the gap between them and her, but there was no denying that most of the less fortunate citizens were less than fond of her. Though the girl understood the hostile attitude, it pained her all the same. This very struggle planted the seed that would spur Bai on to become a Godglaive.

Unsurprisingly, Bai's parents were strictly against the idea, and instead encouraged her to continue her studies, and continue their family's path in Zhouji, but Bai had set her mind and would not be discouraged. Though they went as far as consciously overworking her during her studies, and essentially plastering Bai's life with tasks aimed to occupy her enough to forget about the silly dream, Bai never let go of it. Shortly after her 18th birthday, the time of reckoning had come, and Bai quietly left Zhouji, knowing that a proper goodbye would result in a messy catastrophe; her parents would have to come to terms with her decision eventually.

Traveling west-ward, Bai began to understand the hatred harbored for people like her. The struggles of Den dwellers. The constant wear on one's mind, when everything you had could be gone in the blink of an eye. The cold weather. All her studies, and all the comfort of her old life had not prepared her for anything like this.

ABILITIES: This is where you can go all out with your Piece of Eden or your CIPHER ability. Describe how it looks, what it does, and include all your other combat-related talents as well. You can also include everyday life talents such as sewing or the like as well.

MISCELLANEOUS: Anything you'd like to include that didn't fit elsewhere.

Maia is quite an eye-catching person, her frame slightly above average at 5'11, and her build somewhat muscular, but not enough to be noticed at first. Her hair is dyed an icy blue, accompanied by bright and perky blue-grey eyes. Her skin is rather pale compared to most's, and her complexion seems quite thin and fragile. Her teeth are notably pearly and straight, giving her a rather amiable aura when she grins.

She has a very relaxed posture and way of walking, and seems notably less 'intense' or 'prepared' looking than most of her fellow GODGLAIVE. It's rare to see her without even a slight smile; if there's not even a trace of one, it's clear something's wrong.

She has a distinctive sort of style, often wearing a loose, widely collared black jacket, a long leather choker-like accessory, along with onyx trousers and shoes, all worn in a somewhat loose manner. She doesn't really seem to care what people think of it/how they interpret her style. Her lips are usually coated with icy-blue lipstick that accompanies her hair's hue.

In combat, she wears a simple, light, and sturdy carbon-black combat suit, reinforced with accents of a sky blue, gem-like material. The suit also has a large, hook-like holster on the back of it for sheathing her Piece of Eden, and pouches/packs for carrying emergency supplies and (more or less useless) backup knives. The mask she usually wears on-mission is a rather simplistic, round mask with slanted eyeholes decorated with light blue 'eyelashes'.

An extremely chilled-out and carefree sort of person, being with Maia alone for long enough can almost make one forget about their troubles, and the state of the world they're in. Despite the fact she actually takes her job extremely seriously, and is rarely seen slaking off, she's never really seen to be stressed out or flustered by any situation. Even if the road's painful for her, Maia is the sort of person to just chuckle her problems away; she knows there's little time to be weak anymore in this world.

The relaxed outlook on life Maia has, however, isn't always a strength. It can sometimes cause her to unintentionally appear to be lazy, or accidentally make her do things in a half-hearted manner at times. She also tends to be quite forgetful, and - particularly when she's alone - she seems to make far more 'stupid mistakes'. Despite the fact she's extremely talented managing her Piece of Eden - the AURBIS - she's probably been the target of the most shouting & punishment exercises during training. ...Not that, in honesty, she really cares.

If you ever catch Maia sitting alone, she's often looking up to the sky or the ceiling a lot. Even if it's rare for her to not even have the slightest of smiles, it's clear something's always constantly bothering her. Anybody who picks up on this and asks Maia about it is likely to get a quiet chuckle, followed by a nearly inaudible 'don't worry about it'.

Maia is quite a sociable person within her unit, and likes to make conversation with people whenever she can get the time. Even if it's just an exchange of small talk, Maia enjoys getting to know people and tries to keep a bond with any 'co-workers' she might have so they work better together. She's a rather chilled-out person to talk to, and her words are often accompanied by smiles and a calm, yet reassuring sense of optimism. Exchanging banter and shooting playful jokes is something she likes to do, but she keeps her distance from trying this with 'introverted' types.

Maia never seems to panic under intense situations. As a matter of fact, she only seems interested by them. Rather than completely giving way to fear and doubt, she sees each difficult encounter as a puzzle that has to be solved. She's rather relaxed in these encounters, keeping a calm smile and steady composure to help her find any possible 'solutions'. If she sees anyone else panicking, she'll often go out of her way to help them overcome their fear, and keep spirits high. Maia only seems to show distressed expressions when it's far more than just her own life at stake.

    > l i k e s ?

Casual sports, and spending what little free time there is on recreation (...or napping). Whilst she takes her work and role very seriously, she doesn't believe all work and no play is a good mentality to live by in this world.

Night time, especially when mixed with cold weather. She doesn't really know why, but she just feels more 'alive' and 'peaceful' in that sort of environment.

Getting people through rough times, or helping people around her in a tough situation. Nothing feels better than warding off despair and panic with simple smiles.

Cold/icy foods or drinks, particularly sorbet. She may as well be in heaven on the rare occasions she gets to eat it.

    > d i s l i k e s ?
Being given really long lists of specific orders/work that she has to do. She often ends up forgetting, and if she's to complete these tasks alone, she often procrastinates.

Stuffy environments - particularly indoor places without proper air conditioning - seem to stress her out and make her lose focus. Being sweaty kind of sucks.

Having to be discreet to public eye, and whenever she has to obscure her face with a mask. She finds secretive/private types of people pretty hard to connect to.

When people make way too big a deal of things, 'stressy' types, or people who affect team morale with pessimism/negativity. She more feels bad for them than dislikes them, but still wishes they wouldn't 'ruin the vibes'.

Maia's life was never particularly extravagant, nor was her history one to be proud of. Until she becoming GODGLAIVE, she'd never technically had a job, and she'd never stepped for in a building with proper heating. Hell, she'd never even drank water that hadn't been purified by crudely boiling it in a rusty pot above flickering flames.

Her life had always been a struggle... but one she'd learnt to combat with smiles, and positivity, thanks to the way she looked up to her almost benevolent mother.
Her earliest memory, for some reason, is being on her father's shoulders and feeling night-time snow patter atop her hood as he hummed a simple melody under his breath, stoking a firewood-stuffed barrel.

Life was tolerable, but rough. She lived in one of the 'dens' on the outskirts of the main city, in a slum-like area that was tragically near one of the many waste disposal areas of the main city. It was rare they ate and drank anything more than scavenged scraps, cans of food, and stew cooked from the meat of unsavory animals, to say the least. Maia can't really remember anything around the ages 0-7, but she mostly remembers staying in bed with her mother, who tried her best to educate Maia despite being bed-bound.

Her mother was extremely ill, and she rarely saw her father, purely due to how hard he worked to try and support the small family with whatever simple necessities he could find. Around the ages of 8-14, Maia often stayed up at nights trying to cheer up her mother and keep her in high spirits, and her mother - despite clearly being in suffering - did the same to her. There was nobody Maia looked up to more, and on the rare occasions where she was alone, the thought of the unthinkable happening, just... ripped her apart from the inside.

By the time she was 15, her mother inevitably passed away from the disease she carried. Her father, who had become overwhelmed with sadness despite Maia's words after the news, disappeared. Despite Maia skipping sleep to wait outside her house all night, and searching the area far and wide, she never saw her father again. Instead of wallowing in sadness at the news, she simply closed her eyes and looked up into the stars, her grey-blue eyes a haze of contemplation. ...Now what?

They'd both want her to push on, wouldn't they? As rough as the circumstances were, she couldn't give up here. She had to keep smiling. Just like how her mother had been reassuring for her when she'd been in pain, it was Maia's turn to give back.

So, with the best of her ability, Maia scraped on to make the best of her situation, her outlook on life gaining her many friends in the process. Even whilst knee deep in filth or scouring through rubbish, she smiled and laughed along with her friends whilst doing it. Maia had become the heart and soul of her part of the slums, encouraging others around her to carry on and make the best of things. She even made little areas for recreation out of spare materials, creating a basketball hoop out of a cracked toilet seat that was supposed to be a joke, but actually got used.

Just before she was to turn 18, however, she was peacefully met by a group of extremely secretive-looking people when she was alone. She couldn't really understand what they were going about, but they kept insisting to her that she had the required abilities and body to be one of the few to combat the PROXY, and restore balance to the world. At first, she simply laughed, but the faces of the group looked far from amused. Biting her lip at their almost disappointed looks, Maia could tell that they certainly weren't joking.

Despite her insisting she was just an ordinary, uninteresting person, after agreeing to go through in-depth analysis, it turned out her D.N.A. was, indeed, ideal for the role of a GODGLAIVE. Whilst - apparently - her 'attitude had to be worked on', she also had many physical qualities and skills that would make her in ideal VANGUARD. Being told she was... 'special', was quite overwhelming at first.

She knew about the PROXY threat. Thinking of the consequences of what would happen to people if a PROXY attack ever commenced on her part of the city were one of the few things that kept her awake at night.

But something definitely made Maia change her mind. She was informed that her mother had been one of the earliest of the GODGLAIVES; her illness had been caused by an encounter with a particular type of PROXY that'd left a long-lasting toll on her body. She'd never told Maia because she must've not wanted to risk anything with her child. This also explained why Maia's D.N.A was so 'ideal' for the role. As soon as she'd heard that, Maia had already made up her mind.

She'd grown so close to the people around her parts of the slums, it was extremely difficult to leave. But, eventually, she convinced herself that fate was calling to her, and she'd be a coward to turn away and miss out her chance to 'make a difference'. Maia never mentioned why she left the slums; she simply mentioned she had to leave. Everyone was sad to see her go, especially those who'd looked up to her to getting by in the slums. She promised with a grin that she'd return some day, but didn't explain why she was leaving; it was a promise she couldn't guarantee to keep.

At the age of 18, Maia underwent months upon months of special training and preparation in order to handle the Piece of Eden that'd originally been designed for her mother. It took her a while to get used to the complete flip of her life, and at first, the usually impeccably chilled out girl seemed stressed, and looked as if she was being pushed to her limit. She was sure, at first, that she didn't have what it took to become a VANGUARD. After realizing she had to push herself to the absolute brink in order to progress, however, Maia - given the petal of 'SOLSTICE' - learned to wield the 'AURBIS' with surprising pace.

Present, at 19, Maia has completed all of her required training as a VANGUARD, and is an approved unit to take on the PROXY within missions. A protector. She supposes that's what she is now. And she knows that soon, her abilities will be put to the full test. ...No use in panicking, though, right?

The AURBIS is essentially an extremely large, bladed, disc-shaped weapon, with a firm, curved grip in the center, adorned with a flickering, light blue 'core'. Formed from an ebony, carbon fiber-like material and adorned with faint golden markings (which seem to be the etched roman numerials I-XII), the blade on the outside of the hollow, 'O'-shaped disc is retractable and shines with azure light. The disc is designed to be thrown through the air, as it's rather awkward to use as a melee weapon. The azure-blue blades, as they fly, seem to leave a trail of gentle, pulsating energy, patterned akin to something like the aurora borealis.

    { clear.target.in<[glow=gold][/glow][glow=gold]summer[/glow]>;

    the.skies.are<[glow=blue][/glow][glow=blue]blue[/glow]>; }

When thrown in a correct manner (which requires a lot of practice), the rotational force combined with the sharpness of the disc's blades allow it to cut through even the strongest materials like a hot knife through butter. The disc, when thrown, can fly extremely large distances at high speeds, and always seems to 'return' in its trajectory to the rightful wielder. It always seems to fly perfectly straight, and looks like a burning, retina-shaped circle of bluish fire as it flies through the sky.

The AURBIS is a highly experimental Piece of Eden, attempting to link with the D.N.A of the user to try an alter the concepts of 'time' and 'passage'. The resulting abilities are mostly unstable and only situationally useful, though 'Temporal.Restore' is one of the biggest breakthroughs found within GODGLAIVE-related technology. Maia, though she still has a lot to learn to master the control of the AURBIS, is a near-perfect match for the weapon.

    > A U R B I S . a b i l i t i e s
    T e m p o r a l . [glow=purple]R i s e[/glow]
[ When Maia throws or spins the AURBIS in a clockwise fashion, the speed of her body is enhanced by her own 'connection' with the AURBIS, allowing Maia to move at whatever speed is required in order to keep with the same pace of her weapon. She will only experience this drastic change of speed when following her weapon, and moving away from the AURBIS whilst it's being thrown clockwise will actually make her movements far more slow and sluggish.

Her movements are being altered by time whilst Maia is sped up in this fashion, giving her speed the odd appearance of appearing to be on 'fast forward'. ]

    T e m p o r a l . [glow=cyan]F a l l[/glow]
[ When Maia throws or spins the AURBIS in an anti-clockwise fashion, from her perspective only, time slows down to roughly 10% of the speed it usually does from her own vision. Anybody else looking at Maia will see her just moving normally, and nobody else can feel this sensation. Because time is essentially moving 10x slower for Maia whilst this effect occurs, it gives her much more time to read movements, react to things, and plan her moves within a battle. It should also be noted, however, that from her own perspective her movements feel 10x slower, which is a strange sensation to get used to. ]

    T e m p o r a l . [glow=gold]D a w n[/glow]
[ Should Maia ever make a 'sacrifice' of her own well-being in order to prevent damage occurring to another 'Piece of Eden' wielder, then her combat abilities and the potential of the AURBIS are increased depending on the lengths of her sacrifice. However, activating the Piece of Eden in this manner compromises her own defense, increasing the severity of any further attacks made against her for the duration of Temporal.Dawn.

Usage of Temporal.Dawn seems to cause the golden numbers adorned on the AURBIS illuminate, and the length and brightness of the blue blade seems to intensify and shimmer with hues that are a mixture of blue and black. Additionally, when Maia reaches this state, she seems to act - and almost look like - a different person entirely. This effect only lasts momentarily, though depending on the severity of the sacrifice she made, it can last for much longer. When all PROXY threats are considered 'eliminated', any effects of Temporal.Dawn will instantly wear off, often leaving Maia exhausted and confused.
    ]

    T e m p o r a l . [glow=grey]D u s k[/glow][glow=grey][/glow]
[ Should the user of the AURBIS ever sacrifice another Piece of Eden user's wellbeing in order to guarantee their own safety, it's assumed some sort of negative will occur. Creators behind the Piece of Eden say it's safe to assume it brings negative effects, and acts as a result of the opposite emotional response to Temporal.Dawn. None can be 100% sure of the true effects, as it hasn't actually been tested on the field, yet. Both AURBIS wielders have dismissed the idea this part of the AURBIS existing entirely.
    ]

    > p e r s o n a l . s k i l l s

    Prediction
[ Maia can't really explain why, but particularly in combat, she commonly can predict what her enemy is about to do. This comes in handy for a multitude of applications, such as knowing where to aim, where to dodge, and where to aim for in order to incapacitate her foe smartly & efficiently. This natural skill of Maia's only becomes better when she combines it with 'Temporal.Deccelerate'. ]

    Hand-eye Coordination

[ Due to tons of training with her AURBIS, Maia's hand-eye coordination and reflexes have raised to an almost impeccable level. This gives her an affinity for a wide variety of things - some of which things she hasn't even attempted yet. ]

    Scavenging
[ Maia, having lived in the slums, has a good idea where to look for usable materials, mildly edible things, or somewhat drinkable water in rough environments. It rarely comes useful nowadays, but the skill has still stayed with her. ]

    Therapy / Encouraging others
[ Though she doesn't know how to connect with everyone, Maia's probably one of the most chilled-out people you'll ever meet. For most, talking to her is soothing, and she seems to know how to get people through tough times. ]

    Musical Playing
[ Though she doesn't have time to specialize in one instrument, Maia just seems to have a natural ear for music, and can play just about everything to a basic level without requiring instructions. Singing is probably her strongest point, musically, but she's a little bashful to do it in front of others. ]

NAME: Soren Lindell
PETAL: BISHOP
GENDER: Male
AGE: 20
DATE OF BIRTH: 15/06/87
CLASSIFICATION: CIPHER

Appearance
Soren is a composed, nondescript young man with a studious bearing. Standing at 176 cm (5'9"), he has a slim physique, pale skin, and average features. His hair, naturally straight and somewhat untidy, frames his face in a loose assortment of raven-black locks. Soren possesses a calm, steady gaze, his cerulean eyes contrasting sharply with his otherwise unremarkable countenance. He typically displays a pensive expression, and has an unconscious habit of folding his hands behind his back whenever he's not using them.

His accoutrements nearly always include a long white coat with azure cuffs, and a faded blue-gray scarf. The rest of his attire varies from day to day, although he evidently favors dark shirts and trousers. During missions, Soren wears a white silicone mask fashioned into an eerie facsimile of the human face.

Personality
In keeping with his outward appearance, Soren is a self-possessed, levelheaded individual. Those meeting him for the first time might find him to be overly terse or even reserved in demeanor; he hovers on the fringes of conversation, periodically interjecting with concise remarks and observations. This initial impression usually fades with time, however, as Soren will almost always have something to contribute in a discussion. Though not precisely an eloquent speaker, he excels at assembling facts into logical arguments.

He exhibits a clear sense of responsibility, and therefore strives to uphold his duties to the utmost extent. He's decisive, meticulous, and thorough, favoring results over efficiency. Soren generally isn't one for improvisation, preferring to develop detailed plans for every contingency; nonetheless, he acknowledges the inevitability of unanticipated factors, and will readily adapt his strategies as he sees fit. More pragmatic than idealistic, he's prepared to make calculated sacrifices when necessary for the greater good.

In his personal life, Soren tends to reveal a more leisurely disposition, although he always retains a certain level of alertness that distinguishes him from the general populace. Despite his slightly distant manner, he isn't particularly averse to company, and occasionally reveals a dry, noticeably understated sense of humor. He's exceptionally bad at holding his liquor, but tries to hide it by insisting that he shouldn't ingest anything which might inhibit his CIPHER abilities.

Soren Lindell hails from a city far to the south of Santover, nearing the borders of the Eura-Pacific Confederation. Born to a pair of low-level civil servants, his early life was one of structure, order, and predictability. He was kept largely insulated from the pressures of the outside world, receiving a standard education alongside constant encouragement to follow a "safe" career path (similar to that of his parents).

In spite of their best efforts, however, Soren's guardians were no more able to shield him from the world than the government they served. Even as a child, he saw the signs: lowered heads, hurried footsteps, unexplained sirens, and, above all, the vague sense of unease that constantly filled the city, permeating it like a dense fog. As he grew older, Soren learned why the people around him were afraid; that the Proxy threat, ever-present, loomed over everything they had built. In doing so, he realized the true fragility of the era that he lived in, a tenuous peace preserved only by the tireless efforts of HORUS and their Godglaives.

When he was sixteen, Soren made his decision. Driven by something that those around him lacked - a sense of duty, perhaps, or the desire to seize his own future - he submitted himself to HORUS for genetic evaluation. Even when preliminary results suggested possible incompatability with the Pieces of Eden, he wasn't discouraged. Eventually, his resolve seemed to pay off, as the testing found him suitable for Parca Cell implantation.

He never informed his parents of his choice. Too absorbed in the minutiae of civilian life, they failed to consider the possibility that their child might stray from the sheltered path laid out before him. Three days after receiving his evaluation results, Soren departed toward the nearest HORUS research facility, taking only the clothes on his back and a scarf that his mother had given him on his fifteenth birthday.

To this day, he still doesn't recall the details of the implantation procedure. All he can clearly remember is waking up in a white room, surrounded by exotic machinery and people in lab coats. In the following weeks, he was subjected to a seemingly endless sequence of tests, measuring his Parca Count, genetic divergence, and other physiological values. Finally, the researchers found that Soren's body had stably accepted the Parca Cells, with the only notable side effect being an overall increase in sensory acuity.

Soren spent the next two years of his life undergoing intensive training, in a regimen designed to draw out and maximize his latent potential. His ability soon manifested itself, and he focused his efforts on mastering his nascent powers. Meanwhile, he also received instruction in military strategy and tactics, and gradually grew acclimated to a stricter, more disciplined lifestyle. At age eighteen, Soren received his final promotion to CIPHER, whereupon he proceeded to join his fellow Godglaives in the line of duty.

Another two years elapsed, during which he carried out a variety of operations against the Proxies and other targets. One day, on its way back from a routine mission, most of Soren's original unit was wiped out in an unexpected encounter with a particularly powerful Proxy. The surviving Godglaives of the decimated battalion were summarily reassigned, and Soren found himself being transferred northward, to an unfamiliar ROSE called Dynasty.

Abilities
Soren's CIPHER ability, codenamed OURANOS, allows him to induce and manipulate local gravitational phenomena. As a control mechanism, he has been trained to synchronize each basic function of the ability to a corresponding hand gesture. Although omission of the latter is possible, tests have shown such usages to be ill-advised, producing significant deviations in control and accuracy.

axiom=collapse: The primary offensive form of OURANOS generates an artificial gravity vortex of variable strength and dimensions in a targeted area. Anything residing within the affected region will subsequently be subjected to intense barometric pressures as the surrounding atmosphere is drawn inexorably inward. Depending on the magnitude of the distortion, extraneous material from the nearby environment may also gravitate towards the vortex, increasing its final mass and trapping the target within a layer of accumulated debris. This ability is activated through a gripping motion with the right hand, aimed at the target location.

scalar=field: By manufacturing specialized gravitational fields in a defined area, the user of OURANOS can induce localized forces of attraction and repulsion in the environment. Likely the most versatile of the subject's abilities, scalar=field may be used to repel or deflect incoming attacks, manipulate objects in his surroundings, create shockwaves, or impede enemy movement. Its activation entails a pushing or sweeping motion using either hand, corresponding with the direction and magnitude of the resultant force.

manifold=crush: An ability that temporarily amplifies the planet's natural gravity in a given region, exponentially increasing the weight of anything caught therein. Capable of demolishing structures and incapacitating weaker opponents outright, this technique is nonetheless of more limited use against beings such as Proxies. It's activated by extending the left hand and turning the palm downward.

tensor=shift: By nullifying the influence of gravity upon his body, OURANOS's user can perform feats of athleticism that would otherwise be impossible for a normal human. However, the subject remains susceptible to mechanical forces such as friction and inertia. Items in direct physical contact with the user at the time of activation will also temporarily gain this ability's effect, retaining it so long as they remain within one meter of his body. tensor=shift is activated by snapping the fingers of the left hand.

Skills
Spatial awareness: Soren is capable of estimating spaces and distances with near-perfect accuracy, a talent that assists him in aiming his abilities and surveying unfamiliar terrain.

Mathematics: Though not directly applicable to combat, his aptitude for analytical mechanics and vector calculations have proven useful in refining his control over OURANOS's functions.

Discernment: Likely as a result of Parca Cell implantation, Soren's senses - particularly his eyesight - are significantly sharper than those of the average person.

Freerunning: A discipline that he picked up during training to capitalize on his tensor=shift ability, and subsequently polished in the field. Soren is able to deftly traverse complex environments with consistent speed and efficiency.

NAME: Natalia (Mikhailovna) Armstrong
PETAL: Winter Wind
GENDER: Female
AGE: 23
DATE OF BIRTH: 03/17/80
CLASSIFICATION: Valkyrie

APPEARANCE: Standing in a whopping 6'0", Nat has an athletic form, slender yet firm. Her appearance certainly draws the eye and not just because of her height, though it was certainly a typical opener for those who are drawn to her. She gives off a slight air of mystery, as if what your seeing is simply the surface layer, and the obvious nature of it mixed with a pulling vibe, makes other curious as to what's underneath. With that, there is a confidence in her stride that suggests that she knows who she is and what she wants. She has a magnetic smile, if one can get her to, but for the most part it would seem that her mind is preoccupied, which leaves a look of far off thought...which additionally begs people to want to engage with her.

PERSONALITY: Nat is a student-minded busybody. This means that she tends to always be researching something, tinkering with something or doing something. She tends to put a lot of focus in her own personal training, but she also has a few other things she enjoys. She comes off a bit reserved when first contact is made, but over time she opens up. She could be labeled more the observer type, but that would only be an initial evaluation. She's simply not one to truly reveal herself to just anyone, as she tends to keep close associations within a very small circle.

This shouldn't be mistaken with a lack of normal communication or anything, as she knows how to properly interact with others when it's necessary. This only means that there is a clear bit of separation from herself and others, to those of a perceptive nature. That is to say, she usually isn't one to initiate with others, in the beginning, but is more than willing to join in on things if she isn't already otherwise occupied. You'd either have to be someone important to her or really have something of interest to her, if you were to manage to pull her away from a task that she had already begun. Nat's interest include, cats, reading books in general, practicing martial arts, and attempting to cook. However, she has a distaste for dogs, sour foods, bland foods, Proxies (obviously), and jerks.

BIOGRAPHY:
Nat's upbringing wasn't anything to be too envious of. She grew up in a medium-sized village town, Lancaster Town, where her mom worked as the Town's doctor and her father worked in the Mines.

Natalia grew up around books, as her mom had a library of both medical books and random books that she had collected throughout her own childhood, and she use to read a lot to Natalia when she was younger.

As Natalia grew, her love for books and knowledge never left her. At age 6 she was already getting into her mother's medical books, not necessarily comprehending all that she was reading, but she found it interesting that she could learn all about the human body through the books available to her.

Along with the books and parents to keep her company, there was also her childhood friend Drew to keep her on her feet. The two of them were always up to various forms of childish mischief, where you saw one, the other wasn't too far behind. Although, it was very likely that Natalia was causing the mischief and Drew was simply dragged into the fray.

Natalia can't remember herself, but somewhere between 7-10 is when she started to notice strange things within herself. A strange low humming that only she seemed to able to hear or being able to navigate the entire town with her eyes closed as if she was somehow still able to see everything around her. It was also within this time frame that Drew showed her a few of the cool things that he could do, which absolutely fascinated her.

They managed to keep things secret for a long time, their secret only known between the two of them. Natalia had heard rumors and talk of people who had extraordinary abilities becoming Godglaives, the topic of which brought about mixed opinions from all around.

The incident that would change everything happened in their early teens. Natalia had talked Drew into sneaking into the Mines with her to explore, against his advice. They manage to avoid the workers well enough and made their way to the deepest part of the mine, seemingly unoccupied.

That's when it happened…the earth shook violently, eliciting a scream from Natalia that brought the adults to their location. Nat simply remembers looking up to see rocks raining down and then everything went black. When she finally came to, she was in the hospital.

Her mother explained that Drew had apparently been one of those gifted children, and after long deliberation, the town had decided to call the government about the situation. She also informed Nat that she knew that she held the genetic markers to be one of those gifted too, but that her genetic values were too low, so there was nothing to worry about.

It was almost 6-months to a year after Drew was taken away that Natalia ran away from home, leaving her folks a written message, she was off to find the only friend that truly understood her, feeling extremely guilty that he was taken or sent away.

It took some searching, but Nat managed to find a group of people that would take her in for evaluation. As her mother had told her, they said that her value was too low to become a Godglaive. She truly thought all hope was lost until a rather sketchy female scientist explained to her that that was something that could be overcome.

It was explained that there was a sort of surgery that would boost her genetic markers and raise her value exponentially high enough to become a Godglaive, and it was also explained that it would be both long and most likely extremely uncomfortable. However, Natalia was not deterred, as she was committed to finding her friend at all costs.

Thus, Natalia the Valkyrie was born. She went through all the rigorous training and even put herself through some of her own personal training. It her another year just to be able to wield her Godglaive, Ryui Bang, in the most efficient manner possible.

Godglaive:

Nat's Piece of Eden, Boreas, is a glaive and makes a great companion to one who moves swiftly and rapidly. The metallic alloy it's comprised of makes it extremely sturdy, and is fitted a blunted point at the end of smash attacks. It's a versatile weapon, capable of stabbing, slashing, and hooking...and when in the hands of a speedy user, it's the best choice for dealing out multiple hits at a time.

Abilities

Mach Overload- Nat is capable of holding a form of seeming invulnerability for roughly 15-30 seconds, which adds a ridiculous amount of stress to her body and makes her resilience even stronger than it is. However, after that time limit is up there is a high probability of both desynchronization as well as collapse and possibly death This is an ability that forces the body and mind past its limits, and would only be used in an absolute emergency. The adrenal glands go into overdrive while pain receptors are shutdown, allowing for complete concentration on the task at hand. The recoil of this ability is the biggest issue, but if not held to the max, the damage can be managed.

After Image: As the name suggest, Nat is capable of moving fast enough to where she leaves an after image of herself. It's purely a defensive move meant for evasion and quick counterattacks. It's a move that can be used in succession 3 times max or she can make 3 additional after images at once that seem to be all attacking from different angles. The latter of these two uses a great deal of stamina and requires a longer recovery time from the former.

  • Orion sports a simple weather-proof robe, tied down to his body through
interconnecting clasps and knots. A separate cowl is also attached to one
of the clasps that hold the robe. An iron belt is attached to his waist, keeping the robe
tight on his upper body, but letting it flow freely through his lower half, acting
as a skirt that covers the back of his legs. He wears a pair of pants at the bottom,
protective padding will be found covering his elbows and knees behind the clothing.
He also wears simple fingerless gloves.

The defining feature of his attire is the glowing galactic appearance that is seen
on the inner portion of his robe. Most visual is the one that can be found
in his cowl. This, along with the visual aesthetic of his abilities, is the leading
reasons as to why his Petal pseudonym is Orion. The nebulae-esque appearance
also glows along with his eyes whenever he activates an ability.

    Orion.png

  • Orion wears a mask similar to the design shown below.
The mask contorts on the curves of his face and reaches
up to more than half of the skin, leaving only his right eye as well
as a portion of his right cheek.

The texture as well as the design looks
and feels like stone, leaving a convincing facade of carved marble.
The only difference is that the color of the entire mask is
impeccably white, save the outlines of the hair
    as well as the eye.

These lines glow the same swirls of indigo and blue as
his outfit, and glows brighter whenever he uses an ability.

  • Light brown hair sweeps by his head, and his eyes are olive green.
He can change these colors at will and color it with deep swirls of indigo and blue,
shaded with different hues for his irises, and a light gray for his hair.
He only ever uses this ability to further mask his identity.

Average built with a height of 5'10, he stands impeccably straight but has a
tendency to slouch whenever sitting. His face is admittedly handsome
but you will never see him admitting it, often parring himself
as average whenever asked. Often prefers long sleeved t-shirts
and jeans. Seldom seen without a jacket or a scarf.

PRIVATE
Laid-back || Jocular || Sanguine || Convivial

Even though Drew prefers a quiet and small circle, he certainly doesn't fit those qualities.
The life as well as the hand of the party, his main concern is the joviality of his friends,
helping them in times of need, as well as humoring them with quick witted jokes.
Even though he often implements a very jovial mood, he is very understanding
in the gravity of his friends' problems and gives every opportunity to listen to them and to give
them criticisms and advice when it is due.

Despite his extroverted mannerisms, he still needs time to decompress and may
sometimes lapse two days at a time in a silent fog, often stemming from his missions.
But he whisks it away quick and hides it well. His helpful and optimistic
characteristics are sometimes eclipsed by a strong amount of trust that he
places in his friends once Drew decides that they are reliable,
often leaving him susceptible to betrayal.

He will never reveal his pseudonym or his Godglaive state to
anyone, however, and may take drastic precautions in keeping it safe.

GODGLAIVE
Analytical || Virtuous || Unwavering || Optimistic

Orion hardens in the state of battle, oftentimes reducing into silence. Carefully
analyzing every aspect of the given plan, he lunges into the fray, always a Plan B residing in his
brain. Disciplined and adaptable, he prefers to stick to the plan as much as possible
but doesn't hesitate to deter and even deviate from the path as long as the mission is accomplished.

However, he isn't as cold as his namesake shows it to be. Still guided by
his meticulous moral compass, he prefers that the mission would be executed without
sacrificing any personnel or subjugating any unnecessary targets. He will go through tremendous
lengths to avoid anyone getting injured, even letting himself in harm's way.

He has learned to make due, however, and has been disciplined as a result, but
this oftentimes leave him struck with unexplained lapses of lapses as a
form of trauma due to these excursions.

✦ Drew used to have a habit of drawing constellations out of thin air before
going to sleep, to which he tried to break out of fear of someone
realizing his status as a Godglaive.

✦ Drew has a dog named Calliope. She seems to enjoy listening to overtures,
as she barks over the music, much to Drew's vexation.

✦ One of Drew's lapses of silence once happened midway during a mission briefing.
Questions were thrown about, followed up by gratuitous fits of swearing.

✦ Drew's cover has once been almost blown when he sneezed and
a spark of blue shocked the friend he was in a middle of a conversation with.
In his defense, it was 3:44 am and he was incredibly sleepy.

✦ Drew has a steel staff he merely utilizes as a walking stick. Its original purpose was to
use it as a weapon to defend himself from hostile targets sans Proxies
without using his Cipher abilities.

✦ Drew is allergic to eggs.

✦ Drew firmly believes that mornings are for coffee
and contemplation.

.

Drew was born to a normal family.

.

Raised up with the fair mixture of discipline
against PROXIES and menial things as well as
having fun, such as the life of a normal family.

.

Seeing as how there are no significant blood ties
of their family to Godglaives, the family's style of
upbringing seems equitable.

.

So it would've been unlikely for Drew to even
hope to have the traits, let alone the genetics,
to pass the criteria to be a Godglaive.

.

But in the land of giant creatures and weapons
of mythic powers, "unlikely" was a prevalent
occurrence.

.

Lancaster was a rather secluded town with a fairly strong vanguard and a capable community. Past
encounters with PROXIES has led to the cautious upbringing of the Casterians, but aside from
that, they led happy and content lives. After being bestowed upon a new sense of liberty when he hit
the age of four, he went to a local public school, to which he met Natalia.

To many people, it would've been improbable for the two to ever become close friends due to Natalia's
quiet, observant nature and to Drew's tendency to not associate himself with strangers. Some would
argue these are the traits that may have led to their friendship. Whatever those details were, it
would've been blurred altogether as history as they grew older; Drew being the ignored voice
of reason despite his private mischievousness and Natalia being the lead troublemaker despite her
bookish and reserved tendencies.

During one of these excursions, is when Drew began to feel vibrations around his body,
mostly within his hands. He'd brush it off as only it getting numb due to the coldness but the feeling
would stay for elongated periods of time, with small lapses in between. The vibrations simply got
worse over time to the point where Drew can't sleep soundly anymore. After the ring of the bell
signifying midnight, he opened his eyes and scratched his hands, desperately trying to
stop the vibrations. He scratched too hard and he lanced his palm with his nail.

As the blood started to drip, light also traced his fingers. A light trail of glowing dust followed his
hand. Drew, too startled to shout in surprise, twirled his hand in an attempt to dissipate the following
cloud, but to his amazement, only condensed the cloud into one single point. His very first star.
Too amazed to even notice the fact that the vibrations have died down, he continued to create
more and more, some floating, some getting pushed down on the floor, all of them
glowing the dark outlines of his room. He glanced down his hands, the blood trailing to his wrist.

Drew had a lot to show to Natalia.

Drew had felt a little better when he realized he wasn't the only one noticing something different within themselves.
Natalia began to show him a few of her unique traits and in return, Drew showed her his abilities.
Although a lot more visual than hers, Drew still was nervous of being an outcast due to his newfound powers.
They made a pact to keep things a secret before they reveal it to their parents, whom are sure
to panic due to their taciturn and circumspect lifestyle, and have done their best to uphold that vow.

During their excursions, they would practice and refine their abilities. They would often seclude themselves for
half an hour and dedicate it to training. After that, they would often show each other their improvements and
find a way to incorporate that to their adventures. As a result, Drew had begun to explore the extents of his
abilities, not only being able to manifest stars, but to create kaleidoscopic barriers, and write on thin air.
He has learned to tamper with the characteristics of his own stars and as a result, open more possibilities
of utilization as well as slightly changing his own appearance.

The two begun seeing each other more and more, fascinated by the uniqueness of these
untapped abilities. One autumn night, after a trip around the town, they caught wind of hushed rumors
regarding people called Godglaives, and their nigh-supernatural capabilities, almost similar to the
exemplary traits that the two friends seem to exude. They've resigned to keep their secret permanent
after an hour of debating and discussion.

However, as fate would have it, it would've been for naught.

The usual day cycled by, with Drew advising against Natalia's idea to explore the Mines and Natalia
convincing Drew enough for him to give in as if tradition. Weaving through stalagmites, hiding from the
vigilant eyes of the workers, they continued deeper and deeper as the rock walls swallowed them.

As they trudged onward, continuing their quest to locate the deepest part of the mines, Drew felt a subtle tremor
run up the walls, few of the stray pebbles shaking from their spot on the rocky ground. Before Drew could hiss a
warning to his friend, distracted by the seemingly strange symbols etched on the tunnel, the ceiling roared.
Rocks grinded on each other as the stalactites fell one by one, followed by a cacophony of rumbling as the structure
collapsed on the two, dust weaving hazily among the raining debris.

A scream rang throughout the ruckus emanating from Natalia. A single thought to save her was the only thing Drew
focused, zeroing in on her silhouette despite the thick fog of dust. Pushed by the adrenaline, Drew grabbed her close
and raised his hand up against the incoming rocks, a familiar glow shining through his fingertips. A semi-transparent shell
materialized above him, encircling the two figures reaching towards the quaking trail; faint patterns constantly shifting on
the glimmering surface. The falling boulders tumbled down upon them, hitting the barrier with a loud crash before
tumbling downwards. A crack on the surface caught Drew's attention, before spreading and
connecting with other fractures of the shield.

He gritted his teeth. The barrier isn't going to last long. Drew tucked Natalia close, shielding her body with his own.
One rock then ricochet over the surface, and the barrier shattered with a loud bang. Intense pain showered
over Drew's body, feeling the impact of the collapse in his body, ushering out a tired scream of his own.
White washed over his mind, and he fainted, his childhood friend still with him.

A blinding light escaped through his eyelids, forcing him awake. He cracked a tentative eye open,
surveying an unfamiliar surrounding before opening both in shock as the memories of the mine incident
came flooding forth. He stood and ran before being restrained by adults. Confusion and anger flashed in his eyes
as he hopelessly struggled in the strong arms of the doctors. A voice rang out from a radio,
relaying out the accident scene by scene.

"Despite being crushed by a multitude of rocks during a quake in one of the tunnels of the Mines,
Drew Allestein and Natalia Armstrong of Lancaster Town have survived the incident with no injuries.
The two are currently being tested for any sign of Godglaive genomes in an undisc--"

Something pierced Drew's neck and everything became hazy. He laid motionless in the hands
of the guards before he could let out a scream.

It was all a blur after that. Years have gone by, crammed with training, lectures, and tests that were all crumpled
and left alone at the back of his head, leaving him with his refined abilities and new physical capabilities.
He felt a sick sense of pride obtaining these newfound traits, knowing he could never attain such a high level
of efficiency if he fought back from the government he was forced to serve. But eventually, this hatred eventually
converted into a grudging respect as he found out the cause of why he was made to go through such rigorous training.
With a new sense of purpose, he trudges out into the fray, always reminding himself that he's
doing this to not only keep his lost friend safe, but to make everyone safe.

He is a Godglaive, goddamnit. And no one's gonna stop him from being one.

Orion's main way to deal damage. He first conjures a star then focuses
on it, collapsing and folding it upon itself whilst combining more stars within, until
it eventually fuses into a conglomerate, a unique duplicate of a star about to undergo
supernova. During this state, Orion may throw this modified star without it
prematurely exploding. It takes a total of three seconds to properly charge a supernova.

A charged supernova will explode upon impact and would last without Orion's
manipulation. The longer Orion charges this conglomerate, the stronger the supernova is.
This may be judged depending on how small the actual star is, the largeness
of the emanating aura, and how vibrant the color it exudes.

The supernova may exhibit new characteristics at random, depending on the
duration of the charge. One characteristic includes sending a gravitational wave upon impact,
pulling in anything close to the point of impact before exploding.

  • Logomakr_3osFJp.png

Orion connects himself or another ally to a comrade, effectively linking each
other. Orion may manipulate any of the statistics of linked allies, able to siphon a
separate stat and boost it to another. A sign that two friendly targets are
connected is the telltale white line that is found attached to the two bodies.
Orion may connected two or more friendly targets into each other,
at the cost of more strenuous effort from him.

For example: Orion connects a Centurion ally with a Valkyrie ally. He may siphon the
Valkyrie's agility stat and use it to boost the Centurion's agility, and vice versa.
Same goes if he connects three or more bodies, he may equally siphon and
disperse the stats or use them to boost all the stats of one singular person.

Kismet will immediately cancel if Orion is damaged during the ability,
or any of the connected bodies are severely damaged (excluding Orion if he's also
tethered). The ability will also instantly cancel if any of the tethered bodies move
25 meters away from Orion. He cannot use any of his other abilities if this skill is active.

  • Logomakr_9cUIoQ.png

Orion distorts the space around him or a chosen ally, forming a semi-transparent
barrier around them. Any incoming projectiles will be split into kaleidoscopic patterns,
distributing the impact among the barrier. Full on melee attacks that involve direct impact
among the barrier are the most damaging to the surface.

The barrier has significant resistance, mainly deriving its resilience from the person given
the barrier in a percentage. The size of the barrier also depends on the general height and
width of the person being given the shield. Orion may cancel the barrier at any given time.

If the barrier breaks before Orion cancels it, all damage it has soaked up will be inflicted
upon the ally that had the barrier in the first place. Orion may only give one barrier
per ally, and if he conjures another shield to another person,
the current barrier will be canceled.

  • Logomakr_7G3QQH.png

Orion summons a myriad of stars that dance around him in a circle, each exploding
upon impact tonany physical target; friendly, hostile, or innate targets alike.
These eidolons are dispersed out equally, both near and far from him.

The longer time the eidolon has been swirling around, the stronger the explosion
and physical damage from the impact, similar to the charging
mechanic of Orion's Supernova ability, but will never achieve the same intensity
of explosion no matter how long it has stayed.

If an eidolon stays long enough and eventually winds closer to Orion,
they will be absorbed by him. If any of the eidolons never hit anything,
then 10% of the amount of damage the entire plethora of eidolons will be
converted into the amount that will be healed into Orion.

Orion can instantly cancel this ability at anytime, absorbing all the
eidolons at once without it hitting anything. This will not heal
him even if the present eidolons didn't hit anything.

  • Logomakr_5wx7fg.png

Orion materializes an arrow-like comet and streaks it across the battlefield, collecting
particles from the air it strides on and accumulates it to its mass. The longer it travels,
the stronger the damage of the impact, easily pointed out due to the
increasing size as well as the intensity of the hues it shows.

The comet will first pierce any targets it comes across, continuing its flight despite
hitting a physical object, but will soon instead detonate when it reaches a
certain degree of mass. The explosion won't be as intense as supernova, but will effectively
blind and slow the target in a flash of light, with the main damage
source being the impact of the physical comet itself.

If the comet reaches the appointed mass in which it finally has the ability
to explode upon impact but hit nothing after three more seconds of flight,
the comet will detonate upon its own, dealing area damage.

Orion charms a star and marks a hostile target with it, making the marked enemy
invulnerable to any damage or effects due to Cipher Spells or Pieces of Eden
for eight seconds, imploding it into a single molecule that the hexed star accumulates.

After eight seconds, however, all of the imploded damage and the effects it has absorbed
will be inflicted back to the marked enemy for double the damage, and double the intensity
as well as the duration of the effect. Orion may also throw this charmed star into
a designated area, marking the surface near the landing point
of the star in a five meter radius.

Any ability or attack to the marked area will also be imploded but for five seconds
instead of eight. After five seconds, the imploded damage and effects will be
converted into a massive geyser that will be shot out from the marked area
miming the double damage and ability effects.

    ✦ MANIFESTATION
Ability to manifest a physical entity similar to a star, possessing the same
incandescence but without the heat. This conjured star will be able to float
freely without outside manipulation but may also be physically thrown.

    ✦ CHARM
Ability to charm a conjured star or line, manipulating its characteristics for cosmetic
purposes such as the brightness of the light it shows or the hue it displays or to imbue
it with effects that may affect the physical environment (e.g: Implosion)

    ✦ WRITING
Ability to write using merely the forefinger, able to conjure a glowing white line similar to the lines
that connect stars into constellations. These may be etched into a surface or to be
spawned as a separate entity, exhibiting the same physical properties as stars.

    ✦ TRANSMOGRIFICATION
Ability to transform features of the face, albeit only a small amount.
May include changing the hues of the hair and the eyes.

Ability to feel comfortable around strangers as well
as to easily make friends. Also is capable of solving problems
    and being a good asset.

Orion's tendency to deviate from the plan has tempered
him to make choices while still being able to
    think things rationally.

    ✦ RUSHING
Ability to accomplish tasks quickly under immense
time pressure. Picked up after years of procrastinating
then cramming work from childhood to adulthood.
Outcome may or may not turn out pretty.
