I should note the group in question aren't big table top people.Wat, Slow? Gurps combat is super easy and deadly and fast if you know what the fuck your doing. XD
I'd be up for trying out GURPs again.Soooo. I wanna run a gurps game now....
Any takers?
different strokes different folksehh. Never got the SW hype
Yea, 3.5 combat I admit is pretty horrible. That's hilarious. Combat in 3.5 is legit "spell/attack. Hit or miss. Deduct damage given". It demands absolutely nothing from you, and fights are usually dragged out slugfests that take up half the sessions.
Gurps combat is "Hit enemy, kill enemy, becouse realism Get hit, oh shit, save me I'm BLEEDING."
Not a roleplaying game.Munchkin the card game
I'd be up for it; I'd need to get reacquainted with combat, but that shouldn't take all that long.Soooo. I wanna run a gurps game now....
Any takers?
Yea, 3.5 combat I admit is pretty horrible.
It's far more min/max reliant than anything else.
And there's so many attacks and rolls to be doing.
Not a roleplaying game.
Plus like Hellis said, it get's people furious with one another.
That's two players so far.I'd be up for it; I'd need to get reacquainted with combat, but that shouldn't take all that long.
Doesn't stop some people from getting offended and angry over it.wait wat?
it makes people furious?
did you not read the box?
'stab your buddy' is the third objective in the tag line!
tongue in cheek fun and whatnot
my group loved it
Doesn't stop some people from getting offended and angry over it.
I've played with people before that get completely hostile and angry if you do anything to 'stab' them in Munchkin.
I mean I personally love the game, it's hilarious. But there are people who get outright furious from it.
Just like there are people who will complain in a Cards Against Humanity game about a joke being offensive.
That being said, they tend to be more of a minority.Missing they point they are
Which is how it's meant to be played. :)We killed monsters
We looted
We stabbed each other in the front back and sides just to be sure!
That being said, they tend to be more of a minority.
But they are there none the less.
Which is how it's meant to be played. :)
