The Nordic Confederacy was created after seceding from the European Union. They created a society that felt much more traditional to their roots, and avoided high amounts of tech. They specialize in melee combat, naval warfare, and anti-tech weapons.
Government The Nordic Confederacy is exactly what it says: a confederacy. King Magnus Dagnyrsson technically rules over each country, but each country has their own ruler and their own laws. There are of course Federal Laws that everyone must obey, but each country has their own as well.
The Nordic Confederacy uses the Krona as their currency.
Every African citizen is watched closely after they are born until their natural talents become apparent. At that point, they begin specialized training and undergo a series of enhancements and modifications using biotech to help them excel in the field they are most suited for. A large part of this training and modification happens during what we would think of as the elementary, middle, and early high school years, though it generally continues for the rest of the citizen's life. There is a class system, primarily based on what kind of modifications your family's money can buy, but since the most essential modifications are funded by the government anyway, it's not like the lower class has too large of a disadvantage.
African citizens are highly nationalistic. They are taught and molded to be proud of their nation and to hold its secrets close to them. The few that do not accept this teaching generally have their memories of underground life modified and are moved into aboveground houses to keep up the illusion of an aboveground nation. The government watches these people especially closely and tends to use them as aboveground eyes and ears, quite literally.
The majority of Africa is actually underground. While the people still move about freely on the surface, this is only to keep up appearances. All normal citizens will be able to use their spinal implants to find the nearest underground access immediately in case of an emergency.
Tourists are generally welcome, but they all stay aboveground. Immigrants, however, have to go through MANY legal hoops to become part of Africa, and part of that includes an implant. The government watches immigrants closely, and if they turn out to be citizen material, they will bring the immigrant in for conditioning and relocate them to an underground home. However, even underground immigrants are still under high suspicion in nearly all cases.

The Pan American Union
It has been many years since the fourth world war which brought the great nation of Pan America together.
Over all that time, though a union has been formed between the pre existing countries in the North American continent,
the egotistical nature of America still remains, though somewhat subdued over time. The Union specializes
in manufacturing everything from technology to household goods, though many of their primary
resources are imported and traded from other countries.

The capital city specializes in creative affairs. Most of the engineered products come from
other locations. The Capital is divided into sections based off purpose. The largest sections are
residential, with a smaller section being divided for government employees such as
royal guard and the president along with FBI and other special forces.

The largest producer of enegeered goods. They specialize in project SONIC, better known
as the mech plane. All specialized military units are also constructed here.

This type of plane was original designed for warefair missions but has since been
released for special forces. Many Pan Americans love watching these planes go by as
they are also used as stunt planes for events such as the Pan American

A annual mech competition that brings the best of the best mech fighters to the
Union Mech Arena in Chicago. People come from all over to see the cup, including the
president and his daughter who participates every year for the past few years.

Though Americans previously used football as their national sport soccer has
taken it's place, and the Union cup is the national competition of all
the soccer teams in the Union. The Union cup doesn't only consist of soccer but
has also taken on Hockey and Lacrosse. Women's Soccer and Men's hockey are the most
popular during the Union Cup events.
Royal Guard
The royal guard is the presidents personal guard which replaced the secret service. Normally
they wear regular outfits but are always flanked by Royal Knights who wear heavier armor during
public press events. Royal Knights also protect any high ranking government officials though
the royal guard as specifically for the president and his family.
Royal Knights
A group of highly trained soldiers in mech suits designed as the army for high ranking officials
and FBI agents. They can be compared to the bomb squad or riot police in many occasions.
The Royal Knights are split into different classes.
Assasin Class
Assasin class Royal Knights wear lighter suits and often carry mele weapons or snipers.
They often wear less armor than most Royal Knights and are often not seen during events as they
stick to the shadows. Assassins will often ride in project SONIC specially equipped to handle
stealth missions.
Soldier Class
Soldier class Royal Knights are most often seen accompanying the Royal Guard.
They are the most common form of Royal Knight seen around. They often act
as personal guards and riot police. During war time they will often use tanks instead
of mech suits.
Tank Class
Tank Class Royal Knights are the burliest mech drivers. They are often acting as riot police or
are launched when there is threat to citizen life. They are meant to combat large groups of people
and small areal units that get anywhere close to their charge. They are strong enough
to walk alongside tanks during war time and go head to head with heavy machinery.
The Pan American Spies Union, or PASU
PASU is an organization of unmeched specially trained agents who will accompany important
figures or conduct espionage missions. They blend in well to the environment and all agents
live inside one complex. Its rare that PASU agents talk to outsiders.

SOUTH AMERICAN SYNDICATE allied to Pan-American Union & partnered to Nordic Confederacy
As the earth has advanced over 200 years into the future, and been a victim of two additional World Wars, much of society has altered drastically. However, much that exists today still forms a solid basis for the history of the Syndicate. As such, the following historical reference document is provided, that researchers may understand what the Syndicate once was, and use that knowledge to understand how it differs today.
As the name implies, the Syndicate is run by a group of wealthy aristocrats. Having wrested power nearly a hundred years ago from a formerly democratic government, the original generation is growing old in age. They now look to their children to carry on the Syndicate's legacy. One requirement of the newly-formed peace treaties is that of a tribute, a child to marry among nations. The Syndicate has convened and agreed upon a son to be sent.
The Syndicate's main product is earth metals. Production facilities that span the continent of South America allow futuristic ores to be mined from dirt and rock, and these refined into alloys that are exported around the globe. The alloys have been known for their use in armor, weapons, and machine parts.
Due to South America's unique deposits of several rare earth metals, demand has been particularly high for an ongoing number of years by companies and corporations in all countries. While embargoes and tariffs tax the alloy production facilities harder and harder each year, the Syndicate lays plans to eradicate all economic and legislative hostility toward their nation - either by hook, or by crook.
The inner boroughs of the Syndicate's major cities thrive and bustle, even during the night hours. Some cities never turn off their lights, preferring to keep operating while the stars shine dimly above. Waste production is at an all-time low; thanks to ecologically-friendly processing plants, much of South America's carbon footprint has been reduced over the years. While mining and extraction facilities still are the largest consumers of power and producers of waste, these effects are largely mitigated from their original factor. Nevertheless, climate change is still an ongoing issue, and the Syndicate would do well to divert some of their multi-billion dollar funding toward that region, the people say.
Green lands still exist, somehow. Cultivated for the purpose of showing, rather than growing, the grass here is off-colored and not as vibrant it could be. Perhaps this is a side effect of extracting so many nutrients and metals from the earth. The scientists working under the Syndicate either cannot, or will not, say.
In spite of all that has been done to increase the power and prestige of the Syndicate as a world power, their populace remains largely in places of squalor. Violent protests have, from time to time, broken out, beginning from dilapidated housing such as the ones pictured, and moving in throngs to demonstrate at capital cities. The Syndicate quickly quashes protests like these to ensure word doesn't travel... but it's entirely possible news may leak. In short, the people feel like they've traded a bad government for a worse one, according to the stories told by their parents and grandparents.
In the Columbian capital, Bogota, resides the heart of the Syndicate's power. It is here that the manors of the rich and powerful crop up, still dwarfed by the towering mansions of those in the Syndicate's inner circle.
The ruined cockpit of a crashed bomber makes for an amazing hideout, especially for young Syndicate new-bloods who are fresh on their rise to power, but without any place to call their own. For a number of years, Carmelo Cotilla was one of these number, living in a fuselage and venturing out to work by night. Eventually, after a reconciliation, Carmelo returned to live at a small studio apartment given to him by his father.
Indo-Asia's main scientific studies are within Biological and Medical advancements and enhancements for military and civilian uses alike. For instance Indo-Asia has found a cure for almost every type of cancer by this time. Blindness is a rare thing in Indo-Asia, unless you're born blind you wont be able to go blind do to the medical discoveries Indo-Asia has made. Also for military use Indo-Asia has came up with bio-medical enhancements to make their soldiers thought process, reaction time, and reflexes quicker, which is a must in order for their S.A.L.S. (Sea, Air, Land, Space) Special Forces branch to even completely learn their combat style, S.A.L.S.MAC (S.A.L.S. Martial Arts Combat). Indo-Asia is also home to

The Asian Coalition dates back to the year 2135 when the nations of China, India, Pakistan, Japan, and Unified Korea decided to end a conflict. The Manila Conference was called, and the Song Accords were written up by Chinese Premier Gui Song to bring an end to the conflict. Ten years later, when the Coalition was formed, the Song Accords were adjusted so that it acted as a constitution.
The Asian Coalition is a technocratic Confederacy. Prominent scientists, doctors, and engineers run the nation. It's split into three councils: The Lower Council, which is elected by the people and acts as a Senate. The Mid-Council, which acts as a Judiciary committee, and the High Council which consists of representatives of the member nations. The High Council then elects a Secretary-General who runs the country.

Cities
The area of the Asian Coalition is massive. Stretching from Iran in the west all the way over to Japan in the East, and from Kazakhstan in the north to Vietnam in the south. Most Coalition cities are massive urban sprawls consisting of large skyscrapers. However, some cities are different.
Tehran is a two-level city split between a newer Upper-City, and the older Low-City. Shanghai is built outwards around a complex of massive skyscrapers.

The military of the Asian Coalition is relatively small. The largest branch is the Border Patrol. The Border Patrol acts as a vanguard.

The PlasMag is a standard issue weapon in Asia. The PlasMag consists of a battery that both powers the fingerprint scanner as well as provide heat that heats up the particles taken from the air.

The Ministry of Information is responsible for all intelligence services in the nation. At every Cabinet meeting, there is an empty seat. This seat belongs to the Minister of Information
Ministry Counter-Intelligence teams are called "Tigers," and are responsible for intercepting enemy deep-cover agents within Asian territory. Tigers are quick moving, and are disguised as ordinary civilians. Then, there are Tiger Black Teams, which are teams in tactical armor that are fast moving and well equipped to deal with targets. They're used for extraction. The final tier is a Tiger Shinobi, which are trained assassins uses to silence a target.
Standard Ministry teams are sent to other nations to gather intelligence. However, most spies are Manchurian-Candidate'd, or brainwashed and told to gather information for the Asian Coalition.
As well as orbital weapons platforms, Asia also has what are known as ODSTs (Orbital Drop Shock Troops), which are soldiers that drop from space. ODSTs are equipped with armor designed to withstand the drop from space.
Asia has two methods of reaching space. The first is the Nepalese Mass Driver. This is based in the Himalayas, and is used to deliver cargo into space quickly. The second is the Colombo Launch Center in Sri Lanka, which is used to send people into space.
Economics
The economy of the Asian Coalition is mostly run by the corporations within. These corporations act on a global scale, importing and exporting weapons, supplies, and materials.
