Two of TK's bullet's missed the fleeing Ishvalan, but the third struck home in it's leg. However, that didn't seem to slow it down for more than a second. The red lightning crackled over the wound, healing it up almost as quickly as it had happened. To make matters worse, the transforming creature flashed the young alchemist a sharp toothed smile just before heading up onto the roof, and finding safety from the group of people who had been attacking it. It was gone now, and with the din of battle ceased the surrounding noise was more obvious than ever. Ishvalan voices were screaming everywhere, and not just from the crowd on the eastern edge of the building, but from all around as well. Through the crystal wall that had blocked the alleyway and the wall of fire and smoke between that, many of the Ishvalan citizens had seen the small scuffle. While the smoke had hidden the transforming man's escape, that didn't change the fact that a large crowd of people had just witnessed the state alchemists attacking what appeared to be an Ishvalan man. And their shouting made it obvious that they were not at all pleased by this. Only their deep respect for the Colonel kept them from rushing forward as the crystal wall dissipated and the alchemists began to leave, as well as the need to put out the growing fire and repair the bullet holes, shrapnel scraps, and scorch marks on the walls.
While the explosion had sent the First Lieutenant flying, luckily it hadn't actually knocked her into anyone, but the small pool of blood gathering under her shaking form indicated that she had definitely been injured. When the Colonel came over to check on her, he would find her face scrunched up in pain, grinding her teeth as she gripped tightly to her arm and side, where her uniform had been shredded. While she had avoided the actual explosion, a few small pieces of shrapnel had sliced into her arm and side. It wasn't life threatening, but she was going to be in a hell of a lot of pain, especially with the heightened nervous system that came as a side effect to her abilities. She couldn't even speak as the Colonel touched her cheek, her body continued to shake and she seemed like she was only staying conscious through force of will.
She stayed that way through the whole trip inside, the Ishvalans staying out of the way as Colonel Russo went past, but quickly spilled into the alleyway once he was gone - flashing him and all of the other state alchemists angry glances, obviously barely containing their rage. More Amestrian soldiers were arriving now, and the people turned their anger on them, a less powerful outlet for their frustrations. Some of the higher ranking soldiers were coming into the base now as well, seeking the Colonel to find out what had caused these sudden riots and what they should do about it.
The blood seemed to drain from the nurse who met the Colonel as he arrived in the medical room, she wasted no time in getting the other nurses so that they could get Elizabeth in to see a doctor as quickly as possible. The doctor stopped to give Russo a quick reassurance that she would be okay, and that she would inform him of her condition once they had her stable, before hurrying after the nurses to begin taking care of her.
