Full Metal Alchemist: War Torn Lands

Reven bent forward when the non-man started to climb the wall of the building he was in, sparking off a few bursts of flames at the non-man that fell just short and burnt large black lines into the stone of the building before the man disappeared. "Damn it!" He cursed to himself a few more times before looking down at the others and at his sister's rapidly melting ice slide.

"Coming on down!" He got onto the slide and nearly fell as pieces of the slide, large pieces, fell from behind him as he slipped and slided down in a heap. "Ow... Stupid ice... Stupid heat... And damned non-man running away..." Oh swell, he was ticked.

Tk was shocked by what had happened. A flurry of commotion happened in less than a minute. At first there were a few explosions which had caused him to fall backwards from the sheer force of it. As he began to get up from the shockwave he saw the creature scurrying along the walls of the building they had all flooded out of. He quickly lined up a shot as steady and fast as he could and squeezed off three rounds hoping he could at least hit it and make the damn thing bleed. Once it had vaulted over the top of the building and out of their sight he slammed the butt of his rifle on the roof of the building he was on and then slung it over his shoulder knowing that they would be unable to pursue it any further.

Tk didnt want to look down in the alleyway knowing full well that all of the group was disoriented from either the oddity of the beast or the several explosions that had been lobbed towards it unsuccessfully. Tk found the roof access of the building and began to walk towards it when he saw that a large portion of the group had began to look up at the commotion in the alleyways. The blazing fire now on the occupation building from Reven had started to die out but the flames in the eyes of the Ishvalans seemed to be rising as some of them started to shove and shout while others pointed at Tk in an accusing way. He knew the look in their eyes as that of a death sentence. He cleared his throat slowly and quickly went down the roof access and into the building. He saw the front door and back door deciding to take the back door knowing full well that he would be killed if he went out in the open.

Once Tk was out in the alleyway again he could feel the burst of heat on his right as his arm was held up in defense of his soft flesh against the harsh element of fire. He mentally cursed at Reven and looked the other way and tried to get his way around the fire. It took him a few minutes to get through the alleyways and he had somehow ended up on the left side of the occupation building. He slowly walked in and took a seat in one of the many chairs in the building. All the shouting and bustling of the troops and civilians outside were hurting his ears as he slumped down. Things could only get worse for him from here on out.

Andre ambled back to his feet wordlessly and mumbled obscenities under his breath as he made his way back to the office. the unmistakable sounds of discontent flooded his ears as eh made it tot he main street.

"I don't like this..." he said to nobody in particular " ...why was it so easy to attack.... that murderous intent... is that what humans really are behind all the science and knowledge and... bah... " he knocked his head between his fists a few times. " STOP THINKING!" he yelled loud enough to be heard before getting back tot he office. He took the ready-made explosives and such from his pockets and hung them in their places in his backpack laboratory, busying himself with taking a piece of wet clay, putting it in one metal gauntlet-ed hand and transmuting it into a shape, adding heat and taking out all the oxygen from the pores in the pot, making it complete, he filled it with charge, detonator, and his added extra layer of sticky purple putty that gave his bombs the green blast.

So much had just gone… wrong, so much was wrong with this entire situation and it made Tony's blood boil with rage, his wrath reaching levels he never knew before. Each of them… had they forgotten the concept of overwhelming force, had they forgotten how to follow orders in any way shape or form. He was about to yell at them but then the explosion happened, sending his LT off into the distance behind him. The subject ran, scaling the building with no one thinking to follow him, but considering only one of them had any form of construction as a form of alchemy that was not surprising. "Let him go" he snaps not caring at this point if any of them followed his orders or not.

He wheeled around and walked quickly over to his LT, crouching down and patting her cheek "Liz" he says before picking her up and turning to the others "Each of you WILL be in my office in ten or I will dispose of you myself you disobedient wretches" he says his voice keeping a calm level, his fury barely contained. He steps out of the ally after removing the large crystal wall at the end of the alleyway. He walks back into his office, giving simple commands to his men to try containing the riots, knowing a search for a shape shifter was a futile effort. He walks to medical, laying his Lt on a bed and getting a doctor over. "Make sure she is taken care of….give me a report on her condition once she is stabilized" he says before moving off to his office, opening the door to see who is there.

Two of TK's bullet's missed the fleeing Ishvalan, but the third struck home in it's leg. However, that didn't seem to slow it down for more than a second. The red lightning crackled over the wound, healing it up almost as quickly as it had happened. To make matters worse, the transforming creature flashed the young alchemist a sharp toothed smile just before heading up onto the roof, and finding safety from the group of people who had been attacking it. It was gone now, and with the din of battle ceased the surrounding noise was more obvious than ever. Ishvalan voices were screaming everywhere, and not just from the crowd on the eastern edge of the building, but from all around as well. Through the crystal wall that had blocked the alleyway and the wall of fire and smoke between that, many of the Ishvalan citizens had seen the small scuffle. While the smoke had hidden the transforming man's escape, that didn't change the fact that a large crowd of people had just witnessed the state alchemists attacking what appeared to be an Ishvalan man. And their shouting made it obvious that they were not at all pleased by this. Only their deep respect for the Colonel kept them from rushing forward as the crystal wall dissipated and the alchemists began to leave, as well as the need to put out the growing fire and repair the bullet holes, shrapnel scraps, and scorch marks on the walls.

While the explosion had sent the First Lieutenant flying, luckily it hadn't actually knocked her into anyone, but the small pool of blood gathering under her shaking form indicated that she had definitely been injured. When the Colonel came over to check on her, he would find her face scrunched up in pain, grinding her teeth as she gripped tightly to her arm and side, where her uniform had been shredded. While she had avoided the actual explosion, a few small pieces of shrapnel had sliced into her arm and side. It wasn't life threatening, but she was going to be in a hell of a lot of pain, especially with the heightened nervous system that came as a side effect to her abilities. She couldn't even speak as the Colonel touched her cheek, her body continued to shake and she seemed like she was only staying conscious through force of will.

She stayed that way through the whole trip inside, the Ishvalans staying out of the way as Colonel Russo went past, but quickly spilled into the alleyway once he was gone - flashing him and all of the other state alchemists angry glances, obviously barely containing their rage. More Amestrian soldiers were arriving now, and the people turned their anger on them, a less powerful outlet for their frustrations. Some of the higher ranking soldiers were coming into the base now as well, seeking the Colonel to find out what had caused these sudden riots and what they should do about it.

The blood seemed to drain from the nurse who met the Colonel as he arrived in the medical room, she wasted no time in getting the other nurses so that they could get Elizabeth in to see a doctor as quickly as possible. The doctor stopped to give Russo a quick reassurance that she would be okay, and that she would inform him of her condition once they had her stable, before hurrying after the nurses to begin taking care of her.

Eilonwy bit down on her lip as her brother crashed to the floor beside her, the ice ramp behind him now crumbled into dripping shards. She grabbed onto Reven's wrist, hauling quietly to his feet.
"Sorry, brother. I thought you weren't coming. Would have been better if you didn't come down, we're only going to need to walk back up." She smiled at him, threw a glance at the voice of business, then turned and carved a path after Andre.

She wandered quickly back into the building, stopping only when she saw Tk slumped in a chair and looking thoroughly tired of their predicament even now.
"Tk, you doing okay?" She rested her hand softly on his shoulder. "We're meant to be back up in the office, want to come up with me?" She spoke quietly.
