YC: Your character.
YC is MC's older brother or sister. MC is sixteen and recently came out as gay. MC and YC's parents are extremely homophobic and don't want a gay son in the house. They decide to send him to live with YC who has not been in contact with his or her family since he or she moved out a few years previously. MC and YC used to be really close, and MC is mad at YC for not keeping in touch.
