I had a difficult time with my family growing up, which thankfully wasn't as bad as many others have had to suffer, because we were eventually able to get through it.
But during the worst years, my found family were the ones that helped me survive and grow as a person. O: I definitely wouldn't be here today if it weren't for their support.

10000%, found families are just as valid as blood family. We don't live long enough to spend our entire lives agonizing about people if they want to do nothing but force things we don't want upon us, whether they raised us or not.
