Character Need To Knows

Numbers & Groups
There are a total of 34 characters, but not all need to be filled before we start. Character ages may range from 14 to 30. Some exceptions are allowed(for older ages)

You can have as many characters as you can handle, don't overload yourself. There are 17 members of BE and 17 members of LE, please if you make multiple characters don't just toss them all into the same group. Though you are all part of one big group, these smaller sub-groups are meant for possible drama and fun. This doesn't mean those of LE and BE hate each other, but there will likely be tension.

Powers & Weapons
There are a variety of options you can do for your character, but there are limits. Remember your character is not invincible or perfect. If you have a shifter, you may only have one animal form. If your character is able to regenerate their body parts, make sure it has its limits(Increased food intake, or a cool down time). Simple little things. I'd also prefer if you'd keep your powers/abilities tied to which role you pick. This isn't required, but it would make more sense. As for the weapons, your character could have been given the option to select their own personal weapons if you like. But keep in mind the best choices would have been knives, swords, and bows since ammo would be rather limited.

Relatives/Relations
You may wonder why I bothered adding relatives to the character sheet. Well, you can have relatives, even ones that cross between BE and LE. Yes, those of BE and LE can be related. The test tube babies were created with the DNA of the scientists or people who volunteered their DNA for a decent price in return. If you don't wish to have any relatives just take it off the sheet or mark it as N/A. Also keep in mind those of you in BE know each other very well, if you wish to talk about your relations with those in BE go for it, you could even add it to Relations, in the character sheet if you wish to keep track of it better.

Positions
There are positions but they aren't super strict. There are only two Leaders, and I will hold both of them. I don't want someone to take the role and then vanish. The other two roles consist of Foragers and Laborers. You can see details below with what each position handles and your character doesn't have to be proficient in all aspects of that position.​

Experiment Type(Explain): Fieiry Persona - Ella is able to create and manipulate fire. Makes for easy cooking, but if she isn't careful she can easily lose control over the flames. She is also able to use her flames to heal wounds, but by healing others' wounds she takes on that wound's pain. It is a very treacherous balance because if she uses them for too long it starts to overheat her inner organs.

History: Ellawese had been celebrating her job promotion with friends and had a little too much to drink. A strange handsome man approached her and she decided to have some fun. She'd just broken up with her girlfriend and the job promotion had made her day better. So she decided to celebrate even more, after all, she'd been thinking about proposing to her girlfriend of five years. She had loved her a great deal, only for the woman to turn around and tell her she had been seeing someone else for two years. After hearing that, she had almost not gone to work that day, and maybe it would have been better if she had just stayed home. She followed the man in her drunken stupor and then couldn't remember what happened. When she woke up her veins felt like they were on fire, but she couldn't scream. She took in her surroundings, bright lights, and people hovering over her with strange tools. Her body was hot, it felt like she was being eaten alive by flames, but there was no fire. Only a strange substance they were pumping through her veins making her veins glow a strange orange color for a while before it went away. She couldn't talk or scream as her mouth was gagged. After the firey fever stopped and she came to her senses, these wackos explained that she was the first of a new strand of experiments for the end of the world. She had tried hurting the people that hurt her, that had tampered with her very being, but it was useless. They would sedate her and then she saw others being experimented on... She was informed that she would be their leader. She never got the chance to ask them what made them think these strangers who had likely been stripped of their normal lives just like her would follow her command. Instead, she was soon cast into an icebox, running new tests...told that they had to make sure her powers wouldn't conflict with the cryosleep they'd put her in. And now she'd be waking up to this new world with absolutely no idea how to make others listen to her. She could only hope her way of living would be helpful...

Experiment Type(Explain): Lion Heart - He is rather simple as one of the first BE's created. He is able to shift into a huge black lion.

History: When Alex first opened his eyes he was greeted with strange faces all of which grinned at him in a rather creepy way. He was the first Test-tube baby to be created...but certainly not the last. In their eyes, he was perfect for the first child of this kind, but as he grew and more experiments were created he noticed that scientists became much more crazy, even increasing the aging process on some of the newer subjects. It was rather scary. At first, he simply followed what they told him to do, obeying their commands...even killing a few people and other experiments they deemed as failures. However, he got more tired of such things with each passing day and began to form a plan to run away. It worked perfectly, almost too perfectly that he had thought it strange at first. As time went by his group was free, but he had no idea the scientists were still watching them....no idea that they weren't actually free. The day they came to that island has been playing on repeat within his mind the entire time he has been stuck in this cryosleep. Remembering the terrified looks of his companions and their screams as they were taken down with tranquilizers.

Experiment Type(Explain): Greenest Thumb - Cass is a mix of chemicals and plants. She can grow plants and even encase her entire body in them. There are two major issues with this, she needs A LOT of water and if she goes too far into turning herself into a plant-like being she might lose her human side.

History: Cassidy had been focusing on her college degree as a botanist, plants had always been a fascination of hers. Not once did she ever think she'd practically turn into them. Like her younger sister, she was greatly saddened by the death of their parents. But she didn't have the luxury to mourn their loss, life doesn't stop. She took on multiple jobs and still tried to keep going through college. She was unbelievably grateful for having such an amazing younger sister who even stepped up to work and did her best to help Cassi with everything. The two of them were making it work for a while until there was an increase in rent and her college loans. She started grasping desperately for straws and soon an amazing job came up. She didn't know it was a trap, the pay was great and it was supposed to be in her field of study. When Cassidy was invited to check the company out and told she could bring her sister she was so excited despite her sister's warnings. And that was how they landed in a lab, and a world of pain. She could only hope and pray that her younger sister survived and that she'd forgive her.

Experiment Type(Explain): Analytical Eyes - She had nanotech infused into her DNA and was brought up studying a great deal about the structure of things. It became known that she could see through the structure of something figuring out the parts that were needed to fix something or even build it. Also, what could be used instead if one material wasn't available. The only problem is the fact that it tends to give her major headaches and to this day she isn't able to control it fully and more often than not wears a blindfold.

History: Vendy didn't pick her name, they named her Vendy which was a strange nickname for the term Lavender. Due to her strange purple eyes, they thought it was suited. Did she care? Not in the slightest. She was too busy doing the tasks they put her through and studying whatever they placed before her. She was part of the reason a few of the scientists' high-tech machines actually began to work. Not that she wanted to help them out, she didn't have much choice in the matter. It was either do as they said or be punished, and no one likes pain. She soon found out though that her ability would be the biggest pain in her life. As it grew her eyes became hyper-focused on peering through structures and technologic machines alike. It was very overbearing and they had to create a special nanotech-laced blindfold. As long as she wore it she couldn't see, at first, it was a pain. But she soon found it easy to get by without her eyes. Now though, in this new environment, it'll be a struggle for sure and she just might have to suffer through the headaches. She's just thankful it only works on structures and tech, peering through human flesh would just be creepy.

Experiment Type(Explain): Hunter's Call - The ability to mimic any animal call he has heard before. Sadly though this has messed with his ability to speak human language so he doesn't say much. Not to mention if he switches through too many different calls his throat will become raw, rendering him speechless for several hours

Relatives/Relations: N/A

History: Kay's ability is always something of a problem for him, his throat was of high interest to the scientists as they created him and unlike most of the other test tube children, his was something they were always toying with. He wasn't mixed with animals but nanotech. It was only a small amount at first but once his body began to form they put their focus to his throat. The injections were painful and burned, making it hard to even breathe at times. Scars lace his throat which is one of the reasons he either always has it wrapped with bandages or covered with a scarf. Kaleo was put through tons of hunting games, his voice pushed to the breaking point along with his heart. When they first forced him to take the life of a creature he'd shut down for days. The punishments they put him through held no effect on him, not until they brought in a little girl and almost killed her in front of him. After that he was told either he hunts the animals, making his skills perfect or the girl dies. So he did as told, hunting and calling to anything tossed in front of him. But his true breaking point was when they had him hunt a baby deer, and that baby deer was none other than the girl he had done so much to keep safe. Since then he hunts almost heartlessly and has never dared to build up his relationships with anyone.

Experiment Type(Explain): Nifty Hands - Aiden can morph materials within his hands to be something more useful. He is able to change the properties of substances into something he has touched before. His body taking in those substances and studying them. Making him extremely crafty, but with each amount of different substances he takes in it can make him somewhat sick. And if he does take in a poison or toxin it affects him far worse because he can't change it inside his body. He can only change things he can touch, which is why he constantly wears special gloves, just in case his power decides to have a mind of its own.

History: Aiden was a chef on the rise, having joined a TV competition to increase his cooking skills and to win the prize money. He had hoped to make an impact on the show, to gain fame and catch the eyes of high-positioned people. Why, one because he loved cooking, two, because he needed money to pay for his younger sister's surgery. She was in bad shape and he had no other way to make the amount of money. Everything was working well until one evening when he was practicing alone on set and suddenly felt a sting in the back of his neck before collapsing to the ground. He remembered seeing people walking towards him, but after that, everything else was gone. When he woke up he felt strange, he noticed his hands were gloved and he was strapped to a table, but panic didn't set in. The only thing he could think about was wondering if his younger sister was okay. If she was still alive, how much time had gone by since he'd been kidnapped....

He can communicate and control beasts through a mind meld; he can use telepathy up to a mile and half to talk to his beasts. Also, being an east master, he gains some of the animals traits; this weakens the greater the distance and he has to concerted too keep it up, which is very draining on the mind and he is vulnerable to physical attacks.

History:​

Hidalgo, from what he can remember, was having dinner Cy and then their home was invaded and he killed several of them before they took him down with a number of tranq darts. As for his mother and father, they were trying to work things out so they didn't live together so he mum told him. Some people might say it's a curse but hidalgo sees it as a chance to put the pieces together. Years before that he saw some of his mothers work just like how she created him and couldn't help but be curious where most would be discussed. His feelings to his step father are complex but he doesn't out hate him but he doesn't fully trust him either. When he first woke up he noticed he had changed and viewed most apart from his sister as a bore to deal with. There's still some missing memory's but for now he wants to get used to this new world and protect his half sister cy.

Experiment Type(Explain): Heightened Detector - She has the ability to taste, smell, and even touch something to see if it is edible, or drinkable. Her body has been out through a bunch of different toxins and poisons to build up her tolerance. But as this was done in such a rush her body refuses to heal properly and she ends up sick often. She even sometimes coughs up blood, but she keeps this a secret. Another downside is her senses can be overwhelmed easily if she can't control her power correctly, especially when she isn't feeling 100%.

Relatives/Relations: Older Half Brother - Hidalgo Hane

History: Cynthia was living happily with her mother and brother, she never bothered to ask where her father went. The previous times she'd tried asking her mom, she always got sad. So she decided at a young age to make sure her mother and brother stayed as happy as possible and in order to do that she had to stay happy and confident! Growing up she took a fancy to working with her older brother and the plants he grew and sold in his personal market. Learning to live life and becoming smart enough to support herself when it came time to do that. However, she didn't get the full chance to spread her wings, first, their mother vanished and then people showed up and kidnapped her and Hidalgo when they had been home enjoying dinner! She'd gone all out to make the dinner because it was his favorite and she knew he was under a lot of stress with the disappearance of their mother. Little did she know that would be the last decent meal they got in a while. When she came to everything was strange sounds were unbearable, her vision seemed to take longer to adjust and there was the taste of blood in the air. Blood and chemicals and her brother!!! She took notice of him almost instantly but he seemed strange...

History:

Trinity's mother had donated her eggs for whatever the scientists had, had in mind. She needed the money desperately as her precious baby needed a major surgery and she couldn't cover it with her job alone. As years had gone by it had weighed on her mind and she got in contact with the scientists asking if they had used her eggs to make a child. They informed her that they had, but she couldn't have contact with the child as she signed over those rights when she took the money. Trinity's mother couldn't sit still though, knowing there was another child that belonged to her. She wanted her children to be together and raise them both with love and care. She changed her identity to work in the lab and find her child. Surprisingly it didn't take her long as her child had her face and the same striking blonde hair she had once had before she dyed it. She got to meet her child a few times, but the last time she saw her child and revealed to her that she was her mother and that they would escape she got caught and Trinity never saw her mother again. A part of her was glad to know that her mother had cared, and she hoped her mother had returned safely to her normal life even if it meant leaving her there. Not that she stayed in the lab too long after that because the leader of her group had a plan and they actually escaped. Many times Trinity had thought about trying to go find her mother, but knew it would bring harm to her and her group.

Experiment Type(Explain): Human Organ Farm- Bodily regeneration of limbs, features, and internal structures (organs, tissues, bones, etc). His body jas the abikity to fully reproduce and regenerate missing human body parts when something is missing, severed, severely injured, crippled, burned, or torn apart. As such, he has been used for different experiments involving skin and limb grafts, transplants, and DNA experiments. Despite his infinate uses, he has two side effects. Once a body part is taken or damaged, it takes a long time to regenerate a new one. This process can take days to weeks and is extremely painful. A secondary side effect is his low immune system to weather changes. When storms, snow, or extreme heat are approaching, his body reacts in a way that makes him very sick.

Nuts and Bolts- Android-Cyborg fitted with human exterior and interior traits, organs, and mannerisms. He appears mostly human, but the glow in his eyes, jolting and sudden movements, and the quiet hum of machinery beneath his flesh give him away as something less human. He has an intelligence level thag is always evolving based off of new experiences. Because of this, he has the mind of a young child. He asks many questions and is always trying to figure things out. Despite his maturing intelligence levels, he retains all the strength if a young adult human male. Just as with every machine, he needs times to charge when his power levels run low. If a system is damaged, it needs replacing in order to function properly. Luckily, he has both organic and mechanical systems in place to prevent a total shutdown without warning.

Iron Marrow- Steel bone mutation. Jack is just like any other strong human male aside from one trait that hides beneath the surface of his skin: his skeleton is composed of steel. His extremely hard bones allow him to be not just a reliable tool for construction and protection, but also a human machine in terms of durability. He can take hits as strong as being hit by vehicles and still live. Unfortunately, steel and metal is not without its downsides. He cannot swim, as he would sink from the weight of his bones. His limbs also rust up and cause him pain when he mkves at times. Eventually it goes away, but is more prevalent in places with high moisture.

Dog Brain- Human brain spliced with that if a canine. Sam retains a lot of his previous human traits. He enjoys going outside, soft music, and warm blankets. The other side of his brain? He eats raw meat, has enhanced smelling and hearing, and has lost much of his ability to speak. He sometimes appears more like a dog stuck in the body of a person, and has been known to even attack those of his own species.

Experiment Type(Explain): Healing Vitality - Jaxon was created for healing, that was the very fiber of his being. He is able to heal people through touch or energy transfer. His very essence can heal just about anything. However, it is truly his very essence, his energy and life force. If he uses too much he will fall unconscious and could sleep for days, worst yet...never wake up again. His powers work not only on physical wounds but also on things like mental stress.(Though this is more of a calming effect of his power, than actual healing.)

Relatives/Relations: He considers those of BE to be his family

History: Despite everything Jaxon has dealt with in his life, he is still a rather carefree cheerful guy. Seemingly always bounding with energy, but perhaps that has something to do with his experiment type. If you need a good pick me up Jaxon is your guy with his terrible jokes, and almost always smiling face. Very seldom will you see him in a down-and-out attitude and if you do, you know the situation is hopeless. He's the kind of guy that will give you a hug without a moments hesitation and sometimes doesn't know when others need personal space.
