this is a roleplay idea I thought up set after a failed attempt at sealing the eldritch horrors. (essentially a bad ending for the original game) and the town is overrun, causing a sacrifice so great to be made that a new elder god is summoned, one who hasn't touched the human plane of existence yet. this allows for the eldritch faithful and those fighting against the horrors to influence the unknown god as the story goes granting power or catastrophe to either side. this is all needing a lot of planning but it may work
