小龙 旽 TUN XIAO LONG

  • Name: Tun Xiao Long
Name association with color: Tun means "morning sun" or "sunrise", alluding to the purple of dawn.
    Age: 18
    Species: Human
Parents: Yang Xiao Long (biological mother); Reese Chloris (adoptive mother); unknown father

  • Aura color: Lavender
    Height: 5'9''
    Faunus trait (if applicable): N/A
Other: Her boots, which are her weapon, are cut off in the picture.
  • Weapon // Dame's Rocket A pair of boots - to be exact, Rapid Ascent Artillery Wedges - with thick wedge soles, colored the same purple as her eyes. Inside the soles are mini-jets that she can use to shoot into the air, and do sick mid-air kicks and other aerial moves. They also have turrets at the heels that can steer the flight, controlled by subtle movements in Tun's feet, so she can make long, jet-enhanced jumps in different directions. Finally, subtle movements additionally control the guns in the soles.
Semblance // Speed Flare As Tun's blows increase in speed, she can enhance them with trails of purple energy. This makes attacks with a lot of momentum, such as lunges, serious threats.
Fighting style: Fast, agile, and in-your-face. Tun is an aerial brawler who can pursue and overwhelm someone who isn't prepared for a one-on-one duel. She hits hard and fast, and defends herself with three-dimensional movement, swift dodges, and underhanded feints. Her main weakness is that she actually can't absorb much damage before she goes down.
Dust use: Tun tried dust rounds at Sanctum and didn't really get into it. That much space for a little burst of ice? Incendiary and explosive rounds were so much cooler. Despite how Mama Reese adored the crystals, Tun stuck to more traditional ammunition and propellant.

  • Personality: A thrill-seeker to the end, Tun is truly her mothers' daughter. She loves the open air, pushing her limits, bucking the rules, and being the fastest. Acting on her competitive streak and need for speed is more important to her than being liked, and nobody around her doubts it - she's snarky and cocky, and enjoys being the center of attention.

Despite how spiteful she can be, she is lonely on the inside. She doesn't have friends so much as people she admires, but she does wish she was closer to them. And if she was... how the wildfire might be more like a warm ray of light. But she's not sure how to let people in and show them that gentleness, and she's not sure if she wants to know. Why make yourself vulnerable when you can fly across a lake?

How their parents met: After the events of the series, Yang, Reese, and a few other Huntresses formed the Reaper's Daughters, a group that traveled Remnant together on their respective vehicles, hunting and slaying Grimm nobody ever could alone. All of them enjoyed a wild life on the road, restrained by nothing but each other. Yang and Reese were especially close - they seemed to have the greatest need to be free, to be fast, to live like tomorrow wouldn't come, and it gave them an understanding of one another.

It had been after some cavorting around that the two settled into a relationship, and by that time, Yang had learned she was pregnant - the father was long behind them, but Yang wanted to raise the child. The couple got an apartment in Reese's homeland of Mistral (they were closer at the time), but determined that as soon as Tun was old enough, the family would travel.

    History:
Tun learned to love the feeling of speed at a young age. She'd see Mama Yang on her motorbike or Mama Reese on her hoverboard, and when she was old enough, accompanied them on their trips around Anima (she had a simple hoverboard of her own). Her parents would do dangerous things - cliff diving, free climbing, Grimm hunting. Tun wanted to do those things and more. This was what convinced her to become a Huntress.

She went to Sanctum when she came of age, and found what she'd been looking for: flight. When she forged Dame's Rocket and took a ride, she felt as if the world had been opened to her. Of course, she was less interested in making friends than racing them. But even when nobody could keep up with her, Tun felt like there was something she just couldn't reach. (There's more; I've left some blanks for us to fill in later as well ;) )

CORNELL SCHNEE

  • Name: Cornell Schnee
Name association with color: Cornell red
    Age: 18
    Species: Faunus
    Parents: Weiss/Velvet

  • velvet_outfit_concept_3d_by_theroguespider-d762g6l.png

    Aura color: Dark brown
    Height:5'4"
Faunus trait (if applicable): Large bunny ears like her mother. She also really enjoys carrots and lettuce.
Other:I loved this picture and outfit, but she does have her father's bright blue eyes. The Schnee dust crest/symbol is on the back of her cape in jet black.

  • Weapon: Splatter
Semblance: Fluid control. She can use her semblance to control the movements, solidity, style, etc. Of fluid connected to her semblance. While this is not limited to her paints, her paints are what she has the most practice with. Therefore it would be more useful to use her paints than anything else.
Fighting style: She does not fight well personally. Her style is speedy and more focused on dodging and precise strikes when up close. She uses her Faunus nature to her advantage as much as possible.

Normally she hangs behind and uses her paints to do various things. She will swipe up and splatter paint, which turns into "paint bullets", which fly out towards her object. She can also use her paints to create creatures under her control. Currently she likes to paint Knight Armor like her mothers summons.
Dust use: She can, and often, infuses dust in her paints. Even though she knows that it's under heavy controversy now.

  • Personality: Cory is cocky. Cory has a slight superiority complex, especially when it comes to art. She knows she's good and isn't afraid to say it. Other than being cocky and arrogant, she truly is lonely. This is likely due to the fact that her personality can be slightly obnoxious.

Although, she does desire some slight change. She wants friends, she wants love, Sienna wants to feel like anyone likes her. In the end, she could just change depending on who helped her.
How their parents met: School, Velvet was constantly bullied and at first Weiss didn't care. However, after time as Weiss became more relaxed and caring from Team RWBY, she eventually came to her defense. It was the last time they were to be attending, and Weiss shoved off her bullies, summoning some armor to defend her.

They began to talk and as they both left, Velvet gave Weiss a quick kiss.

Weiss didn't react for years down the line until the two huntressess met again during a dangerous mission. They instantly re-connected. That same night they re-met, they showed one another how much they had missed each other. Finally, after the mission they decided to go together and remain as a couple.
History: Cory was a surrogate child to Velvet. She was born to Jaune and Velvet, but was raised as a Schnee. She knows who her father is, but never really cared about him too much. After all, he never tried to contact her. She had a rough childhood around the other kids, they often ridiculed her for being a surrogate child. All of the pain forced her into isolation, she took up her paints and began to create. Her semblance showed up not too long after. ((There's more, but I want you to have to find out!))

VENUS BLACK

  • Name: Venus Black
Name association with color: Black is black; the planet Venus has a brown-gold color.
Age: Appears 18; achieved sentience less than 2 years ago
    Species: Robot
Parents: Created by Mercury Black using Penny Polendina's schematics
  • Aura color: Brown-gold
    Height: 5'7''
    Faunus trait (if applicable): N/A
Other: Extremely heavy. Color scheme includes black and gold.
  • Weapon // Ambrosia A series of chakram-pistols, with numbers ranging from two for Venus to dual-wield to fourteen to be moved with her semblance.
Semblance // Chain Projection Venus can project chains of golden energy from herself. They don't do much damage, but are great for latching onto things or throwing them around. They can also be used with dust to create elemental lashes.
Fighting style: Similar to Penny's puppeteering style, Venus moves her weapons around on chains. That's about where the similarities end - she's more like a dominatrix than a puppeteer.
Dust use: Venus always made moderate to heavy use of dust with her semblance. When Dust Syndrome started to spread, she was unaffected and continued her use of it, seeing it as a combat advantage.
  • Personality: A need for self-reliance, a taste for bloodshed, and a craving for... something more. Those are the most important aspects of Venus. She knows she was made to fulfill someone else's desires and nothing more, and she hates it. She has her freedom, yet she aches to be human.

How their parents met: The closest things Venus has to parents are her creator Mercury Black and the schematics of Penny Polendina. After Salem's conquest had failed, most of her underlings were killed or imprisoned, but Cinder, Emerald, and Mercury were all able to escape and, in a way, lead new lives. Mercury assumed a new identity as Maddox Gray, and expanded his knowledge of prosthetics into a small business in Atlas.

One night, when he was going through a backup of his old scrolls' files, he came upon years-old mementos of his time with Team CMSN, including stolen data on Penny. He deleted every file but that one, as it'd given him a cruel and ambitious idea.

History: Venus was created to be Mercury's personal companion, with the ability to defend herself brilliantly, but he was never able to complete her. In trying to shift the robot's values and loyalties, Mercury unknowingly gave Venus a fierce sense of independence. When she was next activated for testing, she was disgusted by what Mercury wanted for her. After a protracted fight, she killed him, and went wandering in search of understanding what her predecessor must have known.

Princess Rose

  • Name: Princess Rose
Name association with color: "Rose" refers to the color pink.
    Age: 21
    Species: Faunus
Parents: Ruby Rose (adoptive mother), Sun Wukong (adoptive father), unknown biological parents

  • Aura color: Hot pink
    Height: 5'6''
Faunus trait (if applicable): Bear ears
Other: Her ears are the same color as her hair. She has a pink tiara symbol embroidered into the back of her jacket.
  • Weapon // Crook Rose Classed as a Shepherd's Single Edged Rifle, Crook Rose's ranged form is a select-fire rifle. It can fold back into a storage form similar to Crescent Rose, or unfold to create its melee form. A shaft extends from the barrel, out of which emerges a shepherd's crook shape of nested blades. It is black with gold blades and pink accents.
Semblance // Bear With It Princess can transform into a pink bear, comparable in size to an Ursa Minor. While she moves more slowly, she has much stronger defenses, as well as frighteningly powerful claws, arms, and teeth. At present, she can only stay a bear for about ten seconds at a time. If she were to get much stronger, she might be able to hold it for most of a battle.
Fighting style: Princess is an all-around type of fighter - she balances range and close quarters, offense and resilience, brutality and finesse. The only thing she truly specializes in is being unpredictable and chaotic.
Dust use: While Crook Rose can be loaded with dust rounds, Princess has grown used to using ink dust - dust shot directly into the skin on her hands - for maximum effect from minimum product, and fine control of the effects. Her favorite types are gravity, fire, and ice. Since she always has a small amount in her body, she's developed chronic mild Dust Syndrome.

  • Personality: Princess is the type of person you'd want as a leader, someone who might actually be able to get teammates that are aloof, clueless, or asocial to work together. She has a warm disposition, likes to make people feel at ease, and hates to lose. She's always reaching out to people in hopes of helping them feel happier... or having a connection with someone who doesn't treat her like some faunus urchin only notable for her mother's accomplishments. Also, she loves food.

How their parents met: Sun and Ruby met shortly after Sun met Blake. As the leads of two teams who worked closely with one another, they were in each others' presence a lot, but their story of love and parenthood didn't go in the traditional order.

As their teammates all found their respective cuties and had kids, Ruby and Sun found themselves spending more and more time together. One day, on a mission to take down a final remnant of the White Fang, the two came upon a baby the group had abandoned. The two determined that they couldn't just leave her, and they couldn't subject her to the life of a faunus in an orphanage either. They also both dearly wanted a child. So, they decide to raise her together.

Princess Rose was christened shortly before Sun and Ruby moved in together, and the two brought up Princess as their own. They realized they loved one another when Princess was still very young, and married soon after.

History: The nature of her adoption wasn't hidden from Princess - she always knew she had another family somewhere out there, a family full of faunus with another purpose. Maybe they were imprisoned, maybe they had evaded capture, but Princess wanted nothing more than to find them. Being bullied for being a faunus, or alternately, treated like she was just another of Ruby's accomplishments, made her want to find the people in their organization even more. She spent her adolescence searching for them, with very few leads, but shortly before Dust Syndrome started spreading, she found something to hold onto.

Larimar Valkyrie

  • Name: Larimar Valkyrie
Name association with color: Larimar is a light blue-green stone.
    Age: 20
    Species: Human
Parents: Emerald Sustrai (biological mother), Nora Valkyrie (adoptive mother), Whitley Schnee (surrogate father)
  • Aura color: Light blue-green
    Height: 6'2''
    Faunus trait (if applicable): N/A
Other: White ponytail fading to green. Light blue eyes. Dark skin. Wears a sleek coat with gloves, boots, and ripped jeans.
  • Weapon // Erlantz A Multi-Action Dust Falx that works similarly to Myrtenaster, but with more slashing.
Semblance // Glyphs Being descended from Whitley, Larimar inherited the Schnee family semblance. He can cast all the glyphs Weiss can, and his summons include a few Griffons at a time and a King Taijitu.
Fighting style: Agile, dynamic, and dust-filled. Larimar flits around the battlefield like a figure skater, blasting enemies with stone between sweeping movements and powerful cuts.
Dust use: Larimar makes moderate use of dust - he doesn't rely on it as much as Weiss did at first, but he favors earth dust, with secondary choices being wind, steam, lightning, fire, and water.
  • Personality: ???
How their parents met: Emerald met Nora at the dance before the Vytal Festival. After Nora suffered an awkward rejection from Ren, she shared a slow dance with Emerald, who seemed to enjoy it. Afterwards, the two became friends - messaging each other on missions, ice cream with the team, sleepovers when they could. During one of those sleepovers, they shared a kiss.

After the Vytal Festival, the two didn't meet again until after Salem was defeated. INCOMPLETE

    History: ???
