I am torn between being amused and being horrified by this video, but I think I will settle with being confused. Seriously, though, somebody explain what I just watched or I am going to break something. Violently.

Simple. It's about how we're told be creative by society but we're only entitled to be creative by how it tells us to be. Hence why the three puppets couldn't see anything in the clouds until the evil notebook told them what to think. The evil notebook also purposely smeared ink on the clown painting and said green wasn't a creative color, further suggesting that its way is the right way. The horror part goes into the death of your heart and mind into the creative process when it doesn't conform.
