Hunters:
"Hunters once prowled the wilderness and wastelands, taking big risks for even bigger rewards. You're no outlaw—at least, not anymore—but making your own luck has always meant bending the rules. Your unique brand of daring and ingenuity is needed now more than ever."

Hunter is a Guardian class. Hunters are "quick on the trigger and deadly with a blade," so much so that they have earned a fearful reputation and are known as the "Masters of the Frontier."

Hunters can be easily distinguished in-game by their signature hooded cloaks, thin builds, and lightly armored outfits, which contain an armor-to-cloth ratio of about 50-50. Also, as with the other player classes, in addition to helmets, chest armor, gauntlets, and leg armor, Hunters have a special fifth armor slot that is unique to their class and further helps to distinguish them: a cloak worn on the head and back. While Hunters, like all Guardians, can use any and all weapons in-game, they employ a unique utility blade, the Hunter Knife, for stealth kills and melee combat.

Subclasses
Gunslinger

"A lone wolf who lives for the perfect shot."
Gunslinger is a Hunter subclass in Destiny. Gunslinger's super ability is Golden Gun, a powerful illuminated hand cannon that only allows for three shots, but deals tremendous damage to enemies. Gunslinger also contains some area-control passive abilities that allow players to force enemies to take certain paths or doors. The Golden Gun does not critically hit. Gunslinger Hunters have a natural affinity to ranged combat.
Bladedancer

"Beautiful lethality, relentless style"
Bladedancer is a Hunter subclass in Destiny. Bladedancer Hunters have abilities more focused on close-ranged combat as opposed to a Gunslinger Hunter. The Bladedancer's Super Ability is Arc Blade. Arc Blade powers up the Hunter and their knife with Arc Light. The Hunter then slashes anything in their midst, dealing heavy damage and often killing most enemies.
Nightstalker

"Draw from the Void. Light the way."
Nightstalker is a Hunter subclass in Destiny. Nightstalker Hunters have a more supportive role than the other two subclasses. The Nightstalker's Super Ability is Shadowshot. Shadowshot summons a bow made from void energy. When an arrow reaches it's mark it, Tethers foes to a void anchor, slowing, weakening, and supressing them for you and your allies.

Titans:

"The first Titans built the Wall, and gave their lives to defend it. Now, you stand in the same high place, steadfast and sure, protecting all who shelter in your shadow. You hail from a long line of heroes, forged from strength and sacrifice. Our enemies may be deadly and merciless, but so are you."

The Titan is a Guardian class which specializes in armor. The first Titans built and defended The Wall that protects The City. Their heritage is rooted in strength, sacrifice, and mercilessness.

Titans can be distinguished by their heavy, full-body armor and swept-back helmets. The Titan's unique armor piece is a mark, a piece of cloth worn on the right hip intended to show their allegiance, lineage, or achievements.
Subclasses

Striker

"At close Quarters a fist is better than any gun"
Striker is a Titan subclass in Destiny. This class encourages a "close-range" and "physical" Titan.
The Striker's super ability is the Fist of Havoc, a close-ranged attack that allows one to "smash the ground and dissolve nearby enemies in a maelstrom of Arc Light."
Defender

"The wall against which the Darkness breaks"
Defender is a Titan subclass in Destiny. It is geared toward mitigating damage with the use of deployable shields via the use of the Defender's Super Ability, Ward of Dawn and Melee Ability, Disintegrate. A number of the passive abilities can also buff the team via Ward of Dawn.
Sunbreaker

"Forge the fury of undying suns."
Sunbreaker is a Titan subclass in Destiny. It is able to be used in close or far range. The Sunbreaker's super ablity is the Hammer of Sol. The user summons a flaming and can throw them into their enemies bursting them into flames. Making Sunbreaker one of the most useful subclass for taking out enemies quickly.

Warlocks:
"Warlocks have long studied the Traveler, mastering some of its arcane energies. Its true purpose still remains a great mystery, but discovering truth has always driven you into the unknown. Now, our enemies are the only thing that stands between you and the lost wonders of our Golden Age."

The Warlock is a Guardian class in Destiny that specializes in combining "magic" powers granted by The Traveler with modern weapons. Warlocks have long studied The Traveler, which gives rise to their ability to harness some of its powers. As the Warlocks advance through levels, their arcane powers grow stronger.

In appearance, Warlocks can be distinguished by their rounded helmets and long coats. As with the other player classes, in addition to head, chest armor, gauntlets, and leg armor, they have a special fifth armor slot that is unique to their class and further helps to distinguish them from their brethren in arms: a bond (armband) worn on the upper-left arm.
Subclasses
Voidwalker

"Those who have stared into the Void are not bound by the laws of space and time."

Voidwalker is a Warlock subclass in Destiny. It focuses on the manipulation and use of Void energy to obliterate enemies. It has been described by Bungie as a "glass cannon," offering a strong offense but taking away from defense. The Voidwalker's super ability is Nova Bomb, a ranged attack that lets the player "hurl an explosive bolt of Void Light at the enemy, disintegrating those caught within its blast."
Sunsinger

"There are flames that even the Darkness cannot extinguish."
Sunsinger is a Warlock subclass in Destiny. Sunsinger's super ability, Radiance, allows the player to deal more area damage by reducing the cooldown of grenades while active. Radiance's modifiers can allow a player to revive themselves after death, reduce incoming damage or reduce the cooldowns of a fireteam while active. Sunsinger has been described as a support-oriented focus that includes some area-control abilities that allow players to block pathways or doors and keep enemies from getting close. Compared to the Voidwalker subclass, Sunsinger is more defensive, with two damage reduction modifiers and a modifier that causes melee to knock back enemies.
Stormcaller

"Harmony within, hurricane without"
Stormcaller is a Warlock subclass in Destiny. Stormcaller's super ability is called Stormtrance, it allows players to mow down on hordes of enemy waves, by being enveloped in lightning. The user is able to fire lightning from their hands and float about six inches off the ground to move around.

Races:

Humans:
"This was our world, our Solar System. We were here first. And no matter what The Darkness brings, we will be here at the dawn."
Humans are a sentient species native to Earth. They take a no-nonsense approach, a tough and stern outlook with a goal of rebuilding civilization as quickly as possible.

History:
Humans originated on Earth, but everything changed when they discovered the Traveler during an expedition to Mars. The Traveler's arrival heralded the start of humanity's Golden Age, a period of prosperity with medical and technological advancements that allowed humans to colonize much of the solar system, triple their lifespan, and even create a sapient race of machines called the Exo. The Golden Age did not last, however, and a century after it began, an ancient enemy of the Traveler, dubbed the Darkness, nearly eradicated humanity, and all of their settlements across the Solar System were completely lost. The remaining members of humanity fled back to their native planet and were saved by the Traveler, which sacrificed itself to stop this enemy.

Exo:
"Ask yourself: what threatened your Golden Age ancestors so much that they constructed the Exos to defend themselves?"
Exos are a species of humanoid machines.

History:
Exo began as self-aware war machines developed by humanity during the Golden Age for a long forgotten war, with the sole purpose of protecting their creators. They were rebooted during the Collapse and now have no memory of their original function. Exos are "so advanced that nothing short of a Ghost can understand their inner functions. They remain ciphers, even to themselves; their origins and purpose lost to time. Whoever built the Exos fashioned them in humanity's image, gifting them with diversity of mind and body. Many of the City's Exo citizens live and work alongside their organic brethren, while others fight again, reforged in the Light of the Traveler to serve as Guardians."

Awoken:
"The others sing this song of Light and Dark. We, together, have transcended such unimaginative limitations."
The Awoken are a bluish-gray-skinned player species in Destiny. They are descendants of Humans who, during the Collapse, tried to run to the far edges of known space to escape The Darkness. Something mysterious and strange happened to them at the edge of Human-controlled space, which altered them forever. Many of the Awoken live in The Reef, but others also live on Earth. Earth-born Awoken who adventure to The Reef often go unwelcomed by Queen Mara Sov as outsiders.

The stories tell of a golden age long ago, when our civilization spanned the system. It was a bright and hopeful time. But it didn't last.
Something hit us. Knocked us down and tried to stamp us out. No one knows exactly what, but we do know this: very few of us survived, and those that did owe their lives to The Traveler.
Legends say The Traveler sacrificed itself to save us. The mysterious sphere still hangs where it made its last stand, low above the Earth, keeping silent watch.
The years that followed the collapse of the golden age were hard, but slowly we joined together to build a city beneath The Traveler. And now we've begun to venture back into the wild, only to find that we're not alone. Strange and deadly creatures have occupied our old worlds. And they're pressing hard against The City, probing for a weakness, trying to stamp us out for good.
Your story begins at this moment of great adventure and peril. You are a Guardian of The City; a soldier able to wield some of The Traveler's incredible power. If you can find a way to save The City -- to reclaim all that we have lost -- you will become legend. If you fail, the last light of civilization will go out.

Setting:
Destiny is set in the distant future, after an event referred to as the Collapse ended the Golden Age that was started by the discovery of The Traveler, and pushed humanity to the brink of extinction. The force responsible for the Collapse is known as The Darkness, and indirectly acts as the primary antagonist. Battles against the forces of The Darkness are fought at various locations throughout the Solar System.

Seems like it could be fun. Consider me interested.

Do you have an intended plotline for the characters? And will Defender get nerfed? In RP terms it could be even more catastrophic for gameplay than in the actual game.

Cool.

Better Question will The MIDA Multi-tool get nerfed *cough cough* yes *cough* For the first and third questions yes.

but there wasn't a third question...
And multitool is still kinda meh in comparison. A decent Defender can just set up above a capture point and have the entire team stand inside it and get all the points they need. Back before people realised Defender was OP, I was using it to completely dominate free-for-all matches by setting up in a doorway and just punching anyone who came near.

oh lol that was a statement at the end not a question

Hmm we do have a fireteam, and since we do I could started it up
