Saori was born to the picture perfect family, surrounded by love and acceptance for much of his childhood. His mother died when he was only 10, sending his father into a depression. While he wasn't abused or neglected completely in this time, a deep chasm opened between him and his father that has yet to be repaired. If anything, it was made worse by the years of silence between them and his father marrying another woman. Saori did not warm to his new mother, beginning to spend less and less time at home, and more time with the friends he made at school.
