1. Name: Saiyoko Yuhi
Age: 19
Appearance:
Biography: Yuhi was born in a rather unique circumstance. For one, her birth mother was gravely ill during pregnancy, and as such, Yuhi had to be born via C-section a month before she was due, else the mothers disease would have killed Yuhi. After her mother's passing, Yuhi was adopted by a family of foreigners to Japan; a French mother, and an African-American father. Together, they loved Yuhi as if she was their own. Growing up, Yuhi was treated like a fragile doll that was easily broken, and as such, Yuhi was never really given the opportunity to go to public school. She was always kept at home so that her parents could look after her. Around 12 years old however, Yuhi's father fell ill with cancer, forcing Yuhi to grow up fast and start taking care of him alongside her mother. It was then, however, that the Great Tokyo Earthquake occurred, killing Yuhi's mother, father, and burying her home beneath the waves. Yuhi herself would have died as well, if she hadnt been at home that day. She was visiting her birth father that day. When she heard the news, Yuhi rushed home as fast as she could, but was too late. As her mind slowly broke from the loss of her family and home, her sorrow turned to rage at the sight of a floating figure in the sky. Consumed by this rage, Yuhi went to attack the being, but was swiftly defeated. Before she died however, the being implanted a red sphere into Yuhi's chest, right below her heart, giving Yuhi a Branch of Sin and turning her into a Deadman. After that horrific incident, Yuhi was taken into custody once her wounds were treated. Yuhi, with a man named Tamaki as her lawyer, stood trial as the prime suspect of the Earthquake starter, due to the fact that her home was nearby a large electrical plant, and false evidence had placed Yuhi at the plant, setting explosives to destroy it. Even though this was all false evidence, Yuhi was sentenced to life in Deadman Wonderland, Japan's first privately owned Maximum Security prison.
Personality: Yuhi is a soft-spoken girl, preferring to keep to herself most times. She comes off as a depressing person to talk to, due to her very pessimistic world views, but in reality, Yuhi is always trying to look for the hope in a hopeless situation. Since her imprisonment, however, Yuhi has become a shadow of her former self, being very cold and seemingly emotionless in her actions and words.

2. Name: Himura Kenta
Age: 21
Appearance: Biography: Kenta grew up in Japan, living with his mother and father in a small town near Tokyo. He lived an average life, preferring athletic endeavors to those of the mind, generally achieving passable grades in school. Without good marks he was unable to enter a college and so started a career as a bicycle messenger. The day the earthquake hit, Kenta was on a usual delivery route, which ended in Tokyo. The earth tore and split in front of him, his front wheel caught and he was catapulted head first forwards. He awoke with the beep of the heart-rate monitor echoing in his ears and the light of a doctor's penlight flashing in his eyes. It was about a week after the quake and, according to the doc, he was recovering well with only minor injuries. He recovered fully and eventually went back to were, the shock of the happening passing from mind by keeping busy. He was finally settling back into a routine when he was arrested by two policemen. Things escalated fairly quickly as he was turned round, cuffed and pressed against the hood of their vehicle. He heard a scuffle behind him, grunts and moans and when he turned he saw the two men massacred. He ran, what else could he do, but was caught once more later with charges of murder levied against him. Things went from bad to worse as his lawyer, Tamaki Tsunenaga, failed miserably to defend him, faked video footage of the encounter leaking to the news. He thus found himself in Deadman Wonderland, the prison that used it's inmates as entertainment.
Personality: An honest and straight-forward guy, Kenta acts more confident than he actually is. He tries helping where he can, considering the situation he is in, but can get serious when the needed. For example when a competition is on.

Appearance:
Biography: Alex's family moved around a lot, and it made her feel uncomfortable, so most places she went to, she got in trouble. Stealing and fighting the kids on her street, she was a bit of a Hell raiser. Her family settled down in Japan after some time. She never fitted in, and one of the reasons for that was because of how much she looked and sound like a man, so most people who looked and talked with her would think she was a man. The day of when she was framed is the day she'll never forget. A strange man had attacked her and left her for dead. When she woke up, she was laying on the ground and there were young kids around her, bleeding and shoot dead. Some were half dead. She jumped up and looked around in shock; in her right hand, was the gun that did the deed to the young kids and and she was covered in their blood. There was a short trial, and they found her guilty before they had full proof of her crimes and she was sent to Deadman Wonderland.
Personality: Head strong, tomboy, hot head if you press her buttons right, she acts tough but if you really get to know her she is kind, caring and clever
