It was mid-day when it happened.
There was a growling heard - from seemingly everywhere and nowhere - and slowly, things began... stopping existing.
The first thing to go was the Sun - the sky turned a deep shade of crimson, the whole area staying lit regardless through an unknown reason.
The second thing to noticeably disappear was life. Trees died seemingly instantly, squirrels and pigeons became seemingly comatose - not moving, not doing anything - and people looked confused as the cold washed over them.
And finally, the third thing that seemed to simply be gone was air itself - the sudden lack of pressure causing everyone to black out.
When most of them came back to, the world simply wasn't the same - everything was in ruins, everything being bathed in the crimson light of the sky - it felt like they were dropped in the middle of a ghost town, with some sort of forest barely visible at the horizon...
