Kana returned inside with Durion's patrol as he was pretty sure his designated guard was freezing by this point and he knew Elidi would be disapproving if he did the same thing to the guard as others had done to him. No, he wouldn't make the poor Light Elf suffer the snow and wind anymore. Such were the Prince's thoughts as he came back inside and the while the snow and ice started to melt from the others, it stayed on Kana for a great deal longer despite the heat in the lodge.

The Dark Elf moved to the doorway that led to the sitting room, his eyes falling on Elidi and his ears catching the rhythm of her breathing. He felt some relief flutter through him to hear that they weren't so shallow and after a time he approached the couch and crouched in front of where she lay, ignoring the fire at his back and even forgetting in a way the guards that had frozen, watching him.

Kana reached out without a great deal of thought, something he'd done many times since they'd been traveling together now, and he touched the backs of his fingers to forehead and then cheek, checking to see how warm she was compared to him. He was glad to feel that her temperature was regulating itself to something normal for her kind - though, he did hope he'd not woken her with the cold of his skin.

The relief was short-lived as Kana heard the slight scraping sound of a blade itching at its scabbard and he stood, turning quickly. His stance was defensive, but against all instinct, Kana didn't draw a blade - though, he had a few - and his hawk-gold eyes met the light brown of Durion's.

"Just what do you think you were doing, Dark Elf?!" the lead elf hissed and Kana realized his mistake. He glanced down at Elidi and then back up, trying to keep his tone neutral. He didn't want a fight - well, most of him didn't anyway.

"I just wanted to see how she was. I've been caring for her because there was no one else while we traveled."

Durion seemed to struggle with accepting that, but finally he slipped his half-drawn sword back into the sheath and glared at the Prince. "Very well, but do not make such an error again. Do not touch her."

The princess's body had surely welcomed - no, more like absorbed the heat from the large fire in the center of the room. Her breathing wasn't as strained as it had been, and her temperature had gone up at a pretty decent pace. But the Light Elf would surely still be weak and a bit sick since she still wasn't in her natural element and wouldn't be for quite a few more days.

In her sleep, as Kana crouched beside her and brought his fingers to her forehead and cheek, it seemed like her skin actually welcomed the iciness of his hand. Like subconsciously, her body somehow knew it was him and didn't flinch from the coldness. And maybe, just possibly, there was a ghost of a smile on her face before it slowly faded away when the Dark Elf removed his hand.

Even though Elidi was usually a deep sleeper, she had trained herself to wake at any sudden noises as a precaution during her journey with Ekanath. And at the unsheathing metal noise of a sword and a rather loud hiss, the only woman in the room stirred from her sleep and her golden eyes flickered up to catch the way Ekanath was standing defensively in front of her and Durion with his sword half unsheathed. She only caught bits of Kana's words: "... been caring for her...", "no one else while.... traveled." Next, more words from Durion. She eyed the lead patrol elf, a very strange impulse coming upon her.

She wanted to reach out and grab Kana's hand.

And it actually required a decent heap of self-restraint not to. She was just so angry at the Light Guards, wanting to show them that her Dark Elf companion was no harm to them. But she couldn't necessarily blame her more closely related brothers either. Most of them were raised with prejudice and suspicion and hatred.

So she didn't take his hand in hers. It'd probably give off the wrong idea anyways, so once she was sure that Kana was safe from the Light guards, her eyes slowly closed and her mind succumbed back into sleep whether anybody noticed she had awakened or not.

---

The next few days were tense ones for Kana. Elidi did her best to make sure that when she was awake the guards were decent to him - which usually meant they ignored him - but her words alone could not create complacency when hate, anger and distrust were what the males had been fed on most of their lives concerning Dark Elves. And Kana was little different, having no love for Light Elves and having even less reason to trust them after the fifty years he'd endured.

Most of the time the Prince just attempted to stay out of their way, not speaking, making no eye-contact, never questioning or doing something he knew they wouldn't like, but there were time when he slipped up. When he'd smile at Elidi and receive a glare or when the guards who had to take turns watching him started complaining about having to go out in the damn snow all the time and he was confined inside more often by orders - though, those orders were given out of earshot of Elidi and usually happened when she was asleep. Kana didn't say anything about it either. He just grew more quiet and colder in demeanor.

He stayed, though, for Elidi's sake and he tolerated everything thrown at him her for her sake, too. He knew she needed to heal, to get better and he was willing to wait for that. He was fond of her and wanted the best for her.

The Dark Elf couldn't wait to leave, though, and prayed the day would come soon.

Over the course of the next few days, Elidi seemed to glow a little bit more each day, her golden eyes strengthening and her skin coming back to its almost natural skin tone. She was better, much better, but still a little weak. She made no complaining though.

She knew the Light guards wandered off her orders whenever she slept or was away from them - she was no fool. But she tried her best to make them see that Ekanath wasn't so bad. She also tried to keep things between her and the Dark Elf normal, but whenever he smiled or showed any kind of concern for her, he was shot down by the guards' piercing eyes. And she knew Kana only tolerated it because of her.

During the fourth day of them staying there, the princess decided that she was well enough to continue to Dynasha. She announced it during breakfast and was only met with reluctant stares and words, but she had expected it and she only remarked back that her and Kana were going. Durion was the most reluctant of her going but he helped prepare some rations of food and water for the two traveling elves.

Kana barely contained a smile at hearing that they were leaving and for the first time in days, he actually ate. He was outside soon after that, getting both the horses up and walking them around, warming their limbs up and making sure they hadn't grown stiff as he got them used to moving around again. Glaweth was compliant and ladylike as usual, but Darkstep was nothing less than hell's spawn and by the time Kana got the stallion to start listening to him instead of fighting the lead rope, rearing, breaking from a standstill, planting his feet, charging and just being a general brat, both horse and Dark Elf were covered in a sheen of sweat, facing each other.

The preparations had long since been completed and Glaweth was even saddled, bridled and packed, waiting docilely for her rider. The guards were watching the impromptu show, however, and bets were even being places, some of them, surprisingly enough, even for Ekanath and not against him.

The horse and the Prince were about done with their 'dance' though and Kana called the stallion to him with a sharp click and a brief tug on the rope. The animal laid his ears back, grudging, but the did as he was told. Upon receiving a sugar cube, his ears came forward and he practically pranced in place, searching like a yearling colt for another and Kana grinned, the first smile he'd shown in days at Darkstep's actions.

The horse was a hellion, but he truly wouldn't have had him any other way.

Once all their new rations were packed, Elidi thanked Durion and whoever else helped before stepping outside in the colder temperatures and going to Glaweth. She paused on her way though, catching Kana and Darkstep battling for being in charge. She chuckled after watching a little bit, especially since Glaweth was just waiting for her rider and not even really caring.

It also made the princess happy seeing Ekanath smile - the first sign of happiness he'd shown in days. Once Elidi went over in her mind that she got everything, she gave herself a mental nod before jumping onto the white horse, the Light guards taking notice and standing up from their posts. She looked to her Dark Elf companion and gave him a small nod, letting him know they could be on their way.

Kana gave Elidi a nod in return, but his expression had become neutral again as he realized he was being watched and the Dark Elf packed up Darkstep in no time, saddling and bridling him with efficient speed now that the horse was cooperative - though, a few more sugar cubes had to be given to make sure they had an understanding - and the Dark Elf mounted in no time, looking back at the guards, but finding that he had no attachments to them whatsoever. He wouldn't even be mildly nostalgic about leaving them behind and Kana merely gave them a nod of semi-respect before turning his black horse about and heading off down the path.

He was glad to be on the road again, though, this time he'd pay far more attention to Elidi's condition, and the thought that he be seeing his home soon...

Kana could hardly believe it still and he found a small smile had made its way onto his face when he looked back at his Light Elf companion. "We'll reach Dynasha in two days if the weather holds up nicely. Do tell me if you start feeling bad again, though, all right? I don't want to see my family so badly that I'd risk your health."

He meant it, too.

Elidi watched Kana as he bridled and saddled, her eyes skimming the guards before going back to the Dark Elf. Once he mounted Darkstep, the princess turned towards all the Light elves and thanked them for their services before leaving. It felt good to be only with Kana again, to not worry about having to be a princess and to be herself.

When he looked back at her and smiled, she found herself smiling as well. And his words warmed her even in the chill of the mountains. She nodded at him in response, a small smile still on her face as she guided Glaweth.

-----------

The Kingdom of Dynasha in its entirety was really a good hundred miles in all directions for its capital. It was the mountain ranges around it, extending toward the Cold Sea to the north, but when most thought of Dynasha, they pictured it's Ruling City, Aniis. Said city was located between two great mountains. The river Natook flowed through the valley, a rushing torrent that one had to cross over before reaching Aniis itself.

The city was made of black stone, but it was not dreary and frightening as one might imagine hearing that description for among the stonework itself were carved out diamond etchings and white stones that were meant to capture the moonlight, but shone like glitter in the sun. The castle was built in such a way as well and at night, the swirling patterns and symbols would glow with a white light, illuminating the city and its inhabitants in an ethereal way.

Aniis was sturdy, strong and yes, cold for the most part - though, it was inevitable that the Light Elves now living here to watch over the city would have changed some of the interior to better suite them and that probably included fireplaces and pits, something Dark Elves didn't even build - but it was home to Kana and as he looked over it now from the mountain path, he felt his heart swell with both pride and happiness. And intense longing swept through him and it took every ounce of will he had not to charge down the slopes, cross the bridge - that he could even now see was guarded by Light Elves - and rush toward the palace and his family.

Instead he turned back to look at Elidi, the smile on his face wide.

"Welcome to Aniis, Ruling City of Dynasha."

The weather held up just as nicely as Elidi and Kana had hoped it to be, albeit chilling winds every once in a while. Since the sun shone through most of the couple of days, Elidi wasn't as bad as she first had been before they reached the lodging. The two days passed and the pair reached the Kingdom of Dynasha, the princess taking in all the sights. She hadn't been there in quite a long time, but not as long as Kana hadn't.

As they looked over the large city of Aniis, Elidi smiled as she recognized the great city of glittering black stone. She remembered the first time she had visited the city - at night, she was in awe of the way the white stones and diamond etchings illuminated the city. Though she had become a fan of the way the black stones sparkled in the sun during morning, she was much more fond of the city during night. It was... magical.

The female elf tugged down the black cloth that she still wrapped around her face so it'd protect her from the cold. And she smiled back.

"It looks like it has been waiting for your return," she said a bit warmly as she looked back down to the great city. It felt very welcoming to the Light Elf for some reason.

Kana chuckled at her words, but found himself agreeing them them. He'd had horrible dreams in the years he'd been away that his home would be changed beyond recognition should he ever get the chance to go back to it and his tormentors had only cemented that fear, telling him about how Aniis had fallen into ruin, about how his people were treated, but he could see now that it wasn't true. The black stones still stood strong and beautiful in the morning sunlight and the Dark Elf had faith that his people had done the same.

He and Elidi rode rather quickly down the slope and as they crossed the valley and neared the bridge, Darkstep tossed his head up, his chest puffing out proudly as he gave a ringing neigh, recognizing home easily enough. It caused Kana to outright laugh and he pat the horse on the neck, but steadied the stallion back to a calmer state as they came to the bridge itself. The animal had pretty much announced their presence to the guard and now the Light Elves looked at the Dark Elf with suspicion for it was very rare that they saw Dark Elves OUTSIDE the city.

And this one had white hair. Didn't the Prince have-

"Princess Elidi!" Another guard had noted what the first had not and the Light Elves bowed low at recognizing their monarch. The highest ranking guard stood first and straightened respectfully. "We were not expecting you, your Majesty. Please, let some of my men escort you to Aniis."

If they had come to find that all the rumors of Aniis's destruction was true, Elidi would probably be just about as upset and angered as Ekanath. It'd be enough to break her silent streak when she was upset, and both her parents would surely have it, along with the rest of the Light guards who felt no remorse for terrorizing and destroying the beautiful city and the people who resided in it. She'd probably become a bit feared rather than beloved, for her eyes were terrorizers in themselves and were like straight daggers when they wanted to be.

But the ruling city of Dynasha had not been destroyed and that was all that mattered.

Once the Light and Dark Elves trotted down the slope and neared the bridge, the female also chuckled at Darkstep's reaction to coming home and Glaweth nudged Darkstep on his front shoulder before neighing in response. But the guards had also heard the reaction from the black horse and their attention was now on the small group of beings. Some were looking at Ekanath with suspicion as per usual, but one had recognized their princess and announced her appearance, all guards bowing respectively.

"I know," she said as she looked to the highest ranking guard, a small smile on her face. "And actually, I'm already being escorted by my friend, Ekanath," she said as she motioned to the Dark Elf and glanced at him. The guard looked between the two a bit shocked and bowed his head slightly.

"Your Highness, I'm not sure of the prince is allowed to be here."

"Nonsense. He rescued me and deserves to be in his home, to see his family," she said, hoping this particular guard wasn't as much of a bigot as Durion was. "You can join us if you'd like - we're leaving now."

The head guard seemed flustered about his Princess' announcement, but he didn't argue further and called four of his men to escort the two through the city and to the palace. They mounted up and the six were soon off once more. With their escort, Elidi and Kana entered the city itself without fuss from the guards at the gate and the Dark Elf lifted his hood, covering his white hair from the eyes of his people for the time being.

It was not that he didn't want to see them, greet them, but right now his presence hadn't even been announced to his family and if his people were to see him, they might all swarm. The last thing he wanted was any kind of riot OR for the Light Guards to think the civilian elves were becoming a threat and start hurting or imprisoning them. No, he stayed hidden for good reason; the safety of his people and at the end of the day, most of Kana's actions were rooted in that one desire.

Their horses clip-clopped their way up the cobble-stone roads and Kana noted that there was a distinct lack of snow or ice on anything, as if it wasn't allowed in the city. It always had been before, was a natural part of Aniis and he frowned to see the change. The Prince didn't comment though as he watched his people and how they interacted with one another. They seemed content enough, some faces more drawn then others, but they were healthy, well-dressed, they didn't cower or hide away at the passing guards - though, they did keep a wide berth - and they went about their business as usual.

And some of that business was with Light Elves, too! Merchants and craftsmen - there were even friendly discussions going on and Kana found himself curious at the display. Perhaps there was not as much hate as had been thought, at least not among the more common elven people. Hmm...

They passed the city by too quickly and yet not fast enough for Kana all at the same time. He wanted to be among his people, but he desperately wanted to see his family, too, and when they finally passed the palace's arched gate and stopped in the courtyard, Darkstep sidestepped and seemed jittery with his rider's nervousness and excitement. He pulled his hood off as they waited for a page to inform the former King and Queen of their guest's arrival.

When his father and mother appeared, though, it was with a calm aura around them and Kana instantly knew they'd not been told of his presence, only that of Elidi. His siblings had filed out behind his parents and it was Nayali - a relatively young elf - who saw him first, who recognized just who he was and the look on her face was nothing less than pure, undulated joy. She didn't say a word, probably couldn't, as she dashed down the stairs, ignoring their mother's exclamation and she rushed into Kana's arms as he turned from his dismount, flinging her arms around his neck with a squeal of delight.

"Kana! You're home!"

The Prince only laughed and up on the stairs, Itaete and Sefarana had started to understand as well and were rushing to their brother, too. King Ishan and Queen Letinia looked positively shocked as they made their way down much more slowly and looked between Elidi and their son, as if torn between who to acknowledge first.

Elidi said nothing more as the lead guard, who's name she learned was Thalion, ordered four men to escort the two on horses to the palace. At least he budged easier than Durion. Thalion and his men also seemed to be more relaxed, but that was probably because they weren't scouting the borders of the high mountains.

Like Ekanath, Elidi also noticed the lack of snow and ice in Aniis, her mind recalling at least a layer of snow blanketing the city the last time she was here. It was like the Light Elves forbade it in the Dark Elven city - which kind of irritated her; fireplaces and pits were scattered at each guard's post, so why would they seep away the snow? However, the princess didn't dwell on it too much as her mind focused on the way the general population were treated. They didn't seem to be treated cruelly by the Light Elves, they just kept their distance. Some even were conversing with Light Elf merchants and the sort. That let the Light princess relax a bit.

Once they were in the courtyard of the palace, Elidi waited with Kana on their horses, only dismounting as the Dark King and Queen approached. A smile played on her lips as she spotted one of Kana's sisters poking her head out and recognizing him first out of the family, running to him with perhaps the happiest look Elidi had ever seen on a person. Then her head turned to see the rest of Kana's siblings ushering towards him, their parents much more slow behind him and looking between the Light Princess and Dark Prince. Elidi smiled warmly at them, locking her fingers in front of her as she bowed respectively in acknowledgement before glancing to their son and looking back to the parents, letting them know that they could greet their son first.

Kana was being swarmed by his three siblings, but he didn't mind, not at all and each of their smiling faces brought a smile to his own - it hadn't left really - and he hugged each of them tightly many times, unable, unwilling to let them go for too long. Not a word had spoken since Nayali's initial words, but it didn't seem as if speech was needed yet. And then the King and Queen were there, having been released with relief by Elidi and Kana's mother pulled him into her arms, already crying as she held him tightly, whispering how much she'd missed him, how she loved him before finally pulling back and cupping his face, seemingly overjoyed to simply look at him again.

His father was next and the two males stood before each other for a long moment before Ishan laughed and Kana smiled an answering grin, embracing his father and feeling a sense of safety wash over him, as if he were a young elf again, as the older elf enveloped him securely.

"My son, my son, how I have longed for this day."

"And I as well, father."

The King stepped back, clasping the Crown Prince on the shoulders, looking at him with the proudest expression a father could have. "We shall have a celebration for your return!"

"Father-"

"A feast of grand proportions!"

"Father-"

"And everyone shall-"

"Father!"

Ishan halted his booming voice and raised a brow. "Hmm?"

Kana smiled, but shook his head, looking up through his white hair. "Father, I can't stay long. I have a mission to complete." His father frowned a little, but nodded slowly and his mother looked interested. "What mission, son?"

The Prince finally broke away from his family and moved to Elidi's side and then he did something any Prince introducing a Princess to his family would do - and it didn't matter that his people were technically subjugated to hers. He took her palm gently in his, holding both their hands a bit high and led her before his parents. "Allow me to introduce Princess Elidi of Sanesia. It is my sworn duty to bring her back to her father, the King, safely. It is only by her grace that I am here now. I request that she be treated with the utmost respect and care for she is dear to my heart."

Queen Letinia's smiled couldn't have been wider - and her eyes any more merry with faint mischief - if she'd tried and she spoke gently to the Light Elf. "You are welcome in Dynasha, Elidi. Thank you for this gift you have given to my family."

Elidi stood back with Glaweth as Ekanath was surrounded by his family after being away from them and not having any contact for so long. She couldn't hide the smile on her face and her chest felt warm at the touching moment of the family being reunited with their eldest child. If she felt this happy, she couldn't imagine what the royal Dark Elves felt and when King Ishan started talking of having a grand feast and celebration, Elidi's delicate fingers came to her lips to try and muffle an already quiet giggle.

Then her hand slowly went back to her side as Kana broke his father's sentence, her golden eyes trailing him as he broke away and moved to her side. She welcomed his hand in hers, looking up to him with a smile before looking to the waiting family as she was led to them. She courtsied slightly when she was introduced before standing straight again and looking between her companion and each member of his lovely family.

"... for she is dear to my heart."

Had... had she just heard Ekanath correctly? She was dear to his heart? She looked up at him almost instantly, shocked by his words and she could feel a faint heat coming from her cheeks as they were tainted with a light pink. Before she could really absorb what he said, her eyes went back to his mother who looked extremely happy and Elidi smiled, both at the expression and her words.

"It is my pleasure," she responded lightly before acknowledging everybody else with her warm eyes.

Kana felt a happiness he'd not experienced in some time as his father came forward and took Elidi's hand on his larger one, beaming at her, his gold eyes very much like Kana's own, but containing a wisdom his son did not yet possess in the same quantity. "You are indeed welcome, Princess."

Letinia looked at her husband with approval, knowing how hard this actually was for him. Yes, this female had let their son come to them, but that was the problem of the matter. She'd LET Kana do anything. King Ishan was a proud ruler, a fierce ruler and the fact that he was controlled by another King never did sit right. Everyone had learned to live with it, in as much peace as they could, but that didn't mean that they were satisfied with it. A lesser King would have not greeted Elidi so graciously, as if she truly were an honored guest and not the daughter of the elf that was lord over them all, but King Ishan was not a lesser King and he could recognize a pure heart when he saw one. It didn't matter that such a heart belonged to a Light Elf.

Besides, his son had said his peace about it, making it VERY clear that any harm or slight against Elidi would be dealt with by him - probably swiftly and brutally if he knew his son. It was better to just be honorable and gracious about the whole thing.

The King straightened after greeting Elidi and his booming voice was back, making his children both smile and roll their eyes, used to it. "Well! Let's all get inside then and we can have lunch!"

"I am sure they'd like to freshen up first, dear." his wife intoned and Ishan nodded. "Right. And then lunch."

Nayali giggled at her father and then came toward Elidi as everyone started up the stairs and into the palace. She was about the equivalent of a twelve year old human with straight black hair and gold eyes, and she knew just enough to be cautious, but not enough for her curiosity of the world to be dampened. "Are you staying long, Princess?"

Itaete frowned at the words his sister spoke and looked to his brother. The second-born Prince was black of hair and black of eyes, and his gaze was harder, sharper than a blade. He was only seven years younger than Ekanath and looked around his brother's age. When they'd been children, he and the Crown Prince had been inseparable and that hadn't changed until Kana had been taken away.

"Why do you have to go back at all?"

Kana sighed and set his hand on his brother's shoulder. "Because it was sworn that I would stay in Sanesia when the contracts were drawn up. You know that."

His brother's dark expression said he did very well know that and what he thought of it and Letinia was quick to dissolve the tension. "Itaete, Ishan, why don't you both go and make sure preparations are made for Ekanath and Elidi's stay." The two males left then, one understanding completely what his wife was doing and the other with a storm cloud around his face.

Elidi was very much accepting of the king's welcoming and she smiled warmly as she bowed her head. She also knew how tough it was for him, since she was the princess of the king that conquered his entire kingdom. But he took her presence very well and the princess couldn't be happier that he and the queen accepted her into Dynasha.

King Ishan's booming voice reminded the Light Princess of her own father's voice, except hers was perhaps a bit more... jolly. But lunch sounded more than fantastic and it actually made Elidi realize just how hungry she really was. As the horses were taken away and everybody started up the stairs of the palace, Elidi heard a smaller voice next to hers and she looked down to see Princess Nayali looking up to her with curious eyes. The older princess was about to answer, but Itaete's voice made her turn her head and his words made her feel bad. She couldn't help but listen to Kana's and his brother's small conversation, but it did apply to her even if it wasn't direct.

When the queen dissolved the tension, Elidi let out a breath before turning back to the small female elf beside her and she smiled slightly. "We'll stay for a few days maybe. But we can't stay for too long because I have to get back to my family, too," she answered. Then she leaned down and whispered in Nayali's ear, "I'll try and get your brother back very soon though." Then she leaned back up with a smile on her face. It wasn't her intention to give the child false hope - no, Elidi was going dissolve whatever contract the Dark Prince had with her father, willing to do whatever it took for Kana to gain his freedom back.

Nayali looked up at Elidi with a happy smile and she hugged the other Princess without reservation before darting away, saying something about not being late for her music lesson. She skid to a halt though about halfway down the hall and ran back, hugging Kana tightly and kissing his cheek when he bent down before running off again. The Prince looked after her, the smile on his face fond and soft. He'd missed this greatly, but was happy to see that his little sister was just as he remembered.

Still innocent and open. Still the BirdSong of her people.

"You're zoning off again, Kana."

Sefarana's voice broke into his thoughts and Kana mock-glared at his sister. She was far older than Nayali, about Elidi's age actually, about two hundred years younger than Kana was and she was stunning as far as elves went. Her indigo hair fell to her waist in delicate braids and her gold eyes were keen and intelligent. She was hunter, a warrioress and she would make a fine Queen one day if a male could ever win her hand. Many had tried and failed spectacularly.

"And you're interrupting again."

The Princess smirked. "I'm sure you've had more than enough time to zone off in the last fifty years. You're home now, get over it."

And just like that and argument was started as the two walked down the hall and Letinia smiled after her two children, but focused on Elidi as they walked behind the two elves ahead of them. "I will show you to your room. Is there anything you would require while you are here?"

(( You can have them arrive at Elidi's room and then describe it as you'd like if you want :) ))

Elidi hugged the elf girl back and smiled as she ran away, came back to hug and kiss her brother, before going back to what the Light Elf heard was her music lesson. Then golden eyes slowly looked to Kana, observing him in his home with all his family. It was heartwarming, to say the least, even with the mild bickering between him and Sefarana. It made her wonder what it would be like to have a sister, but she was very thankful for her two older brothers and she loved them dearly.

As the queen caught the Light Princess's attention, she looked to her with a small smile and nodded as they walked behind the siblings. "Just thicker blankets, as I'm assuming there isn't a fireplace in the room...?" she asked, meeting Letinia's black eyes. It would be lucky days if there some how was a fireplace in the room, but she very much doubted so. Other than that, she didn't really have any other requests.

Letinia slowed and so followed Elidi, pausing at a large door that she guessed was her room. Once it opened, the Light princess stepped in and looked around. The theme of the decently sized room was black and white, with a little bit of blue to make certain items pop. The flooring was a dark wood paneling and walls were black with the ceiling being similar to that of the black glittering stones outside except smoother. There were large white windows opening up to a small balcony directly across from the door, and a large bed with white sheets and a black comforter sat to the right of the room in the middle of the wall with a dark wood bed frame.

The frame conformed to four poles that were at each corner of the frame, going up to almost the ceiling and connecting so that sheer white veils acted like curtains for the bed. There was a white couch propped against the foot of the bed, along with a couple of chairs on the opposite side of the room. There was a large dresser along with a couple of smaller ones. There wasn't a fire place like the queen had answered (( Hope my figuring was okay )) but Elidi surprisingly didn't mind it that much. The room was comforting yet refreshing. She turned to the queen and smiled.

"It's gorgeous, thank you so much," she said. "But, where is the bathroom?" she asked, looking around the room again just in case she had missed an extra door.
