APPEARANCE:
A young man often called a 'pretty boy', one would not expect Keluo, as he is known as, to be one of the department heads of the notorious Igneus Clan. He can be considered effeminate or boyish, and looks quite unintimidating with his shorter than average stature of 5'4 (166cm). Keluo takes great care with his clothing, and fancies himself a 'man' with style, he takes good care of his skin and as a result is quite pale - and soft to touch, quite the opposite of the stereotype that the Igneus Clan's Firehound Watchdogs, their Operations Department, had established for themselves a long time ago. Long dirty blond hair is tied up nicely and tidily, though a few locks do fall in front of his light-colored eyes, much to his annoyance. Though a thin young man, there is muscle and he is fit - they simply don't budge out like he was a bodybuilder - but one could easily feel how they corded around his limbs.
PERSONALITY:
A sardonic, "gamer boy" attitude young man who can get serious when he wants to. It's difficult to tell when he's joking and when he's not, and whether or not he treats his job as a game itself. Despite this, Keluo is known among his team and his gang members as a young man with a strong sense of what he calls justice. He disregards and mocks the authorities, he disrespects common law, a natural troublemaker who makes the lives of the Wisteria Police and government as difficult as possible. Being labeled as a top threat and an extremely dangerous terrorist comes from his position and his literally explosive personality. Sadistic but not unkind, he treats those who have earned his respect with mild curiosity, and he is not incapable of chivalry.
HISTORY:
A boy hailing from a foreign land, who found himself ostracized in his childhood. He joined one of the gangs to be popular, and although his parents have natural water-based abilities, he was blessed with a gift of fire. Without being told so, Keluo knew he was a disappointment. Second in command to the head of the Igneus Clan, head of the Operations Department, where he commands respect. No one really is sure about how he got to this point in his life, nor how he developed such a strong sense of 'justice' or his hatred for the current Wisteria Government. introduction
Kougi is a seventeen year old boy, currently a second-year at Hokushin Gakuen. He is a member of the prestigious Shimazu family, once known to have been daimyo of the Satsuma han in the Edo period. His family branch in particular have an affinity for archery, and their skill and love for the art runs in their blood. In accordance to this tradition, Kougi is the head of the kyudo archery club - his family donates plenty of spare yumi bows and arrows to the club if need be. He's rich, so he has never had the need to find a part-time job, giving him a lot of time to hone his skills. However, because his family has already set out his future for him, Kougi has become a bit of a closet rebel in an attempt to carve out his own path just as he likes it.

A little pale and very effeminate in appearance, Kougi stands at a solid 161cm and compared to the majority of his classmates he's considered to be quite small. That doesn't mean he won't try to punch you in the face. He weighs in at 51kg. Despite his small-ish frame, he has very strong arms and hands, hardened from years and years of training with a bow that stands taller than him. Although he has used gloves for the majority of his training, his hands have turned out very rough and calloused through endless practice, which is something he hates. Other than that, because of his upbringing and his lavish lifestyle, he is always kept looking bright and healthy. You'll rarely see Kougi with a breakout because he likes face masks. For convenience, his hair is kept tied up more often than not. From the back he could be mistaken to be a girl.
Clothing wise, he has a preference for loose clothing. He seems to dislike it when clothes make him feel suffocated, which is why he usually doesn't wear a tie if he doesn't need to.

Kougi is a two-faced boy. To his cohort he is a mild-mannered, polite boy with a personality that is appropriate for someone of from his family. He's not exactly soft-spoken but he tries to get along with those of his school. One could describe him as a friendly individual who is always open to lend a helping hand. Anyone who strikes up a conversation about his club or archery in general will have their ear talked off within a matter of minutes as he openly shows his passion for his hobby. He sees 'insults' from his classmates as 'friendly banter' and isn't likely to be offended by anything they say. Kougi, in a sense, truly sees them as equals even if their gap in power is obvious. In fact, one thing he never worries about is his strength. He knows he is strong, but he could get even stronger if he practised more.
To students of Minamigawa Gakuen, on the other hand, Kougi transforms into an arrogant, snobby and prideful individual who is not above insulting and belittling them. He treats them as less than a human being, seeing them as scum and lower members of society. He sees himself as their superior, and gets angry when they poke fun him, especially when it comes to his looks or his height. Usually, the boy reacts rather violently and borderline psychotically, and he tries to use them as living targets. When not at school, he is armed at all-times and will not hesitate to bully a passing Minamigawa Gakuen student if he spots one doing their normal business.
Kougi has his own personal set of morals when it comes to respect and honour. To Hokushin students he showcases typical senpai-kouhai relationship etiquette, to Minamigawa students he sees himself as above even those who are older than him. However, he acknowledges worthy opponents when they win his respect. Despite that, he seems to shit talk these people even more... Even though he is classified as a shabazo, he never resorts to using underhand tactics. While hateful, he doesn't resort to blackmail or use his money as a weapon against his opponent. He picks his fights and expects to go into it alone and come out as the victor. Taking in pride of his family history, he dislikes those who do not honor the rules of a duel.
When questioned about the fairness of a bow against a fist, he is willing to let his opponent draw a weapon of their choosing. More often than not, he laughs that if they were so confident about their fists, they would not hesitate to go against a bow.

Glowing symbols are etched into his skin and they pulse and radiate alongside the weapons he carries. As he moves, sparks of electricity flare. His speed and accuracy with the bow is unrivalled.
When Kougi came upon the realization that he truly was unhappy with having no freedom nor the actual ability to make choices about his own life, his Reikontate reached its final form. Despite this, however, Kougi is unable to fully utilise the potential of his Reikontate - that is, until he overcomes the final obstacle of truly cutting the strings that hold him back as a rebel who in reality, is hiding from their parents. The unpredictable and occasionally inaccurate power of wielding Hou Yi's lightning is something Kougi has yet to learn how to control and adapt to.
So what does Hou Yi grant Kougi?
He fights with his yumi - or any replacement for it. If he isn't shooting then he will not hesitate to beat someone up with it even at the cost of breaking his weapon. He has plenty more to replace it with.
While not confident with his hand-to-hand combat skills, he is somewhat versed in jujutsu - in particular how to use the strength of someone larger than him against them. Good with targeting points and throwing, horrible at any other form of grappling or pinning. A punch will usually send a shock or two, but it doesn't hurt as bad as if they get shot.

So what does Hou Yi grant Kougi?
- The power to manipulate electricity. This gives him immunity to electricity itself, even if he was shocked or struck by a thunderbolt from a sky, it would never be enough to kill him. By charging the particles around him and his arrows, he is able to channel electricity to strike his foes. Think of his opponent being a metal rod, and Kougi being the source of the lightning. It's a whip-like motion that can either come from his fist or more preferably and commonly, an arrow shot from his bow. Getting struck by this results in a shock that will probably make your heart skip a beat, depending on how charged the arrows were. An arrow with charged particles can also be faster in flight compared to a regular arrow.
- A fully powered attack from his Reikontate literally turns arrows into thunderbolts - the particles are moving so fast that it can no longer be considered an arrow. A form of electric transmutation. Much larger than the lightning he normally produces, it's a dangerous gambit that Kougi would rather not take but one day hope to master.
- Enhanced jump by using short bursts of electricity to propel himself onto otherwise unreachable heights. Technically he could fly if he kept doing it... but he'd look stupid and he hasn't tried.
- Static electricity: Kougi is able to pull in certain objects. While he usually does this to get arrows from quiver to bow quickly, other smaller things work too, as long as they don't repel electricity. Larger objects would take more time and even then, might be too heavy for him to pull.
- Unfortunately, people who are immune to electricity just like Kougi won't be affected by his abilities too much. It will also fail to work and possibly hinder Kougi if strong magnetic forces are present, which will actually attract in his abilities and send it to goodness-knows-where. Overuse tends to disable nearby electronics.
- Inaccuracy: While Kougi is less likely to miss a normal arrow, even with his training of utilising 'lightning' as a weapon can have him miss occasionally. He is good at directing it wherever he wants to, but not at hitting what he wants it to.

Kougi is the eldest son of a particular branch in the Shimazu family. They are a family that specialises in archery, and their ancestors were said to be the ones who developed shihan mato, also known as seated archery. Out of all the different archery arts he could have picked, he chose and trained with the yumi - though he occasionally dabbled with other cultures whenever he could and had the opportunity to. It is undoubtedly his greatest hobby and interest, and he tends to his bows with love and care even if there comes a day where he will break it in a fight. Since he was young, Kougi was given the illusion of choice. What he chose didn't matter in the long run, because everything was already decided when he was born. What school he'd go to, what job he'd do, who he could marry, how many children he should have, where he would be buried and so on.
While he found these plans unsettling, Kougi always once assumed it was normal for aristocratic kids like him to have everything laid out bare, discussed and confirmed many years ahead of time without his input. Reading stories as a youngster, he marvelled in the stories of warriors and lords of time peroids long gone. He read the stories of loyal soldiers who followed their masters, and saw himself as a person just like that. Except he wasn't happy to follow someone else's plan like these warriors of old - he served no one but himself.
He didn't realise this until he was in his early to mid teens and upon doing so, unlocked new potential within him - the drive to push himself out of the grasp of his parents to form his own path made by his own decisions.
And thus, Kougi turned into a delinquent. A closet delinquent. He picked fights with those he saw as below him. At first, it was to test the waters. Would he get in trouble if he was caught? A tall and imposing man with sharp features, his nickname since childhood - the wasp, has stuck with him due to his features. Standing at 5'9, he is a seemingly slender but well muscled man who shows signs of being a trained soldier, body hardened on the battlefield in the war for a new Jeonsin. Ultimately, however, he sees himself as inferior to his father - who is also his lord. Malbeol, raised to be a stepladder to raise his father up for the glory and victory, sees himself as a willing pawn of the conquest for the title of Jeonsin. HISTORY:
Eldest son of the lord of the Eun clan. They are a small clan among the human clans fighting for the title of Jeonsin, the God of War. Throughout his childhood he remembers nothing but stories of the rubble left by Master Jin, the precious Jeonsin, and the threat of his clan being annihilated. The non-humans had been taking down the humans in the war in an attempt to prevent a repeat of Master Jin and his tyrannical reign. One might consider it a miracle that the Eun had managed to survive thus far.

An albino man with pale skin and very fair hair. He has a frail-looking frame standing at 185cm, but his eyes hold determination and the will to live. Because of his condition, Baek Ho is never seen without his signature parasol. His eyesight is also slowly fading, and it would have a long time ago if he had not been the tiger, one born with sharp eyesight. Occasionally he wears glasses to compensate his dying vision.
He has a very active nature due to his Yang alignment. However, he can be very passive due to his weak physical health.
On the surface, Baek Ho is a seemingly kind and compassionate man who has the wellbeing of others on his mind at all times. His goal and reason to becoming a god correlates to his supposed goal of becoming the next Guan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy. Being a god would cure his illness, and because he understands the suffering of mortal beings through his declining health, believes that he can bring salvation to mortals. That is, by delivering what he perceives to be mercy - sweet death.
Because humans are unable to obtain godhood - Baek Ho holds the firm belief that any who suffer from terminal illness should not sit through the pain of disease, and should die quickly and painlessly with a swift bolt of thunder. Whether or not he is sadistic or derives pleasure from the act of killing others - for a good reason or not - is up to other's opinions. Baek Ho does not often show what he truly feels or what his ideal is. He is more focused on leaving a good impression as a dutiful and merciful, benevolent Zodiac.
One could describe Baek Ho as a human household cat. He is lazy and loves to lounge, but to be fair he finds it difficult to traverse too far from where his lodgings are. Easily distracted in his down time, he finds pleasure in the simple things like a stroll or napping under the sun. Things like books can keep his attention for long periods, and Baek Ho considers himself a well-read individual. As the tiger zodiac, he prefers to be by himself, but does not mind company. Normally, they are disguised as accessories such as bracelets and necklaces which he uses to adorn his body with. That way they are kept close enough for him to quickly react if necessary. His umbrella, an absolute necessity, is also tipped with the same liquid metal.
Metal may be his element, but it could be considered as more of a sub-ability. His focus and his strength lies in his manipulation of electricity. Once upon a time, his battle cry - like a tiger's roar - could bring down lightning to smite his enemies. Of course, with the current times and his lack of strength, he can only wield a fraction of his power. His use of metal acts as a conductor to stretch out the limits of his electricity.
His weak body makes it difficult for him to stay in battle for long periods of time. He's not one for dragged-out wars, but one who dispatches his enemies quickly and swiftly. The sun is also one of his major weaknesses. Flashes of light that aren't his own electricity distract him, and can temporarily blind him. To make up for this, his sense of smell is sharp. While electricity is very deadly, even with his weaponry, they can be redirected with the right tools.
His background is a well-guarded secret. There isn't much known about him aside from the fact that he is a sick individual kept alive by his godhood. It is generally accepted that once, Baek Ho was a genuinely compassionate god whom many prayed to for health and good fortune. At some point in history, it was believed he was disguised as a doctor who had the power and the knowledge to heal those who were incredibly ill, but he never stayed too long to attract too much attention. Perhaps his name is recorded somewhere in history as a savior of many people. Fame was never something Baek Ho really cared about.
It is unknown what exactly brought about his severe warp of ideals. A twisted version of his compassion and mercy, he now lives by this code dangerously. Living his long life, he saw many terminally ill and disabled. As he lost his powers, he had faith in those who had power over the people to take care of those who were not so fortunate in life and health. Perhaps it was the betrayal of these people, these ants, that corrupted Baek Ho's motives.
If even their leaders cannot heal them, why keep them in this world to suffer when they can be freed and sent to a paradise where they can live out their days painless in bliss?
Character Description:
The most compassionate of the group. A sickly man who once held great power and shouldered great responsibility. He comes off as a benevolent and gentle person, but what are his true intentions? Is his goal really as well-meaning as it seems to be? His desire to become the new God of Compassion may seemed far-fetched, but he won't give up on his dream until his very last breath, fighting like a ferocious tiger all the way there.
