NPC CHARACTER SHEETS - THE SHROUD
GERMUND THE TALL
Germund, true to his title, is a tall, gaunt man of equaling height of orcish males. He dresses in plain leather, iron, and steel, casting a neutral, if somber, air to the man. The only splash of color stems from the crest of the Knights of the Raven along his breastplate, dyed in blue and red enamel. At his back he carries the typical swords of his knightly order - a bastard sword of volcite steel ending in a tapered point meant to hack through armor.
HAMATH IMMHET
Were Hamath to dress openly and shirk the purple robes of the Arcanist's Order, he would make for an instantly recognizable figure. Starkly orange hair cascades to his shoulders, and a well-kept and braided beard of the same fiery hue sprouts from his chin. He bears himself with humility and speaks in hushed, soft tones as if afraid all words might carry to the wrong ears. Curiously, he is seen without a Shielder throughout the Shroud, the subject of much gossip for outsiders.
EDWARD ALBYN
A sickly boy, one who would be often mistaken for a girl were it not for his traditionally masculine attire, Edward Albyn is the stereotypical image of any spoiled noble's brat. His voice is reedy and high-pitched, his mannerisms courtly and not practical. But hidden behind the flare of his speech and the shrillness of his voice is a sharp, cunning mind spoken of in hushed whispers among those of the court of the Shroud. The sole heir and ruler of House Albyn, this young lordling has maintained his family's reputation against all odds.
ALICIA HORNE
Though she does not wear the purple of the Arcanist's Order, there is no mistaking Alicia for anyone but a magi. Her bearing is regal and poised, her dress mercurial and accompanied by hooded robes. She carries tomes with her wherever she goes, and her voice carries with it the subtle note of one who knows a great many things. A representative of the Colleges of the Magi, Alicia often prefers the practical applications of magic over its more theoretical prospects.
KILMAH TWICE-BORN
Few dwarves of the Shroud do not know of Kilmah Twice-Born, a heroine of extraordinary renown even outside of the meager dwarven community inside of the Shroud's walls. Forged in the fires of the Hell Maw, Kilmah came to the Shroud proclaiming the rise of the demonic threat. She cited having been resurrected by the grace of the gods, her work not yet finished, and swiftly was recruited and promoted by the Knightly Order of the Wyrm where she resides as one of its most decorated leaders. Carrying herself with all the grace and humility of some martyred figurehead, projecting her poise despite her stout stature, Kilmah makes for the model image of the knights of the songs.
UKRAL, SON OF UKRAL
Ukral conjures all the images of orcs that the stories of yore posit. With massive tusks, a scarred face, and thick braided hair, Ukral makes for an imposing figure before also considering that he towers above even the largest orcs. Dressing predominantly in plain leather, and brandishing a pair of perfectly balanced hatchets, Ukral's reputation as a sellsword often precedes him among those in-the-know of the criminal and less-than-savory underbelly of the Sword.
