Name: Gilly Highhill
Gender: Female
Age: 37
Species: Halfling
Family: the Highhill's are not really blood-related but a group of dastardly thieves who train young halflings to be assassins, diplomats, entertainers...all for a bought hand in human politics. Currently, there are 12 members of Highhill: 4 elderly mentors, 5 active members, and 3 trainees.
Personality: Gilly may be one of the youngest members of Highhill, but her quick wit and observations make her a swift candidate when subtly is needed and exploitation is wanted. Outwardly, she's quiet but it's the only sign you'll receive before she's taken everything you're worth. She's not anti-social but she's not readily trusting either, making her lack a sense of loyalty even among her comrades. Her flaw? She's slightly...daring. If the halfling thinks she can take the mission a step further, she'll walk a whole mile before she'll finally call it finished.
History: The halfling was a rarity of Highhill, being born in the family rather than a bought slave or bribed orphan. Even so, she doesn't have the information of who her parents are or, perhaps, were in the organization. Her earliest memory involved receiving acrobatic drills for Master Ienia, a bitter crone with saggy wrinkles and a permanent frown. Gilly trained, and gambled, for the next 19 years before she was given her first mission, stealing a stack of correspondences from a local noble woman. They turned out to be love letters -- and not from her noble husband. The Highhill's used this as leverage for funding in another "adventure" Gilly would take part in. It earned her a busted wrist and two scars, but she never lost that fight. Now she was on the ledge of a window, waiting for the opportunity to make her entrance.
Current Goal/Purpose: To not get caught, but that is the advantage when the roof-tops is the escape route.
Appearance: Gilly is lithe being. Not even 4 feet, she's the size of a small child. She has dark leather skin, even darker eyes, and freckles across the bridge of her nose. Her ears stick out a little too much, short brown hair with a cowlick, and a gap between her front teeth. She isn't beautiful, not even pretty, but she has a sort of charm about her that draws people in despite her odd looks.
