Species: Watcher-- a species that regulates the coming and going of souls. Two forms, most of the time; natural form and ease form. Natural form is usually described as a "floating snot blob" due to their amorphous, semi-solid appearance. Ease form changes depending upon what species or race the Watcher is interacting with.
Family: Watchers are grown. They don't have families.
Personality: Spottie is more sensitive and innocent than other Watchers. He wants to interfere with the souls that leave their bodies too early, but that is against the Watcher Code. All he wants to do is have friends and help other creatures live their lives to their full potential. But there aren't many creatures to interact with in this city, so he is always very downtrodden and lonely. When people poke fun at his soft tendencies he lashes verbally out in defense, offending the other parties most of the time. Spottie has many dreams and wishes and is very brave, but doesn't know how to problem-solve.
History: Spottie was grown on Watch, the tiny planet of Watchers. The Headquarters for Watchers is there. Every Watcher goes through five years of training before given a city or town assignment. This city called Hone is where he was sent twenty-five years ago along with five other Watchers. Only five years went by before someone very powerful cursed the city, killing off every single body in Hone but glued their souls in place so that they couldn't ascend to the afterlife. The souls continued on with everyday life, unaware that they were cursed. Spottie and the five Watchers were bemused by the odd situation, and after one year, four of the other Watchers threw in the towel and asked for a new job placement. Spottie and his fellow Blue stayed, wanting to solve Hone's problem and break the curse. They cared for the city and its citizens. Unfortunately, they could do little other than meticulously study the souls that went on with daily life. Until a new Watcher came around, a rebel named Pinky that wanted to change the way Watchers did their jobs. Pinky wanted to become something more than just a supervisor of souls, but a savior as well. She was honest, determined, and caring. Together, Spottie, Blue, and Pinky meet new friends and try to save Hone from a meaningless, endless existence.
Current Goal/Purpose: Save the citizens of Hone.
Appearance: Roughly the size of a soccer ball, Spottie is fairly average in size for a male Watcher. His name came from the five white spots that seem to be permanently painted onto his surface. As with all Watchers, he is an amoeba-esque floating blob. He has two small, completely white eyes and a small mouth.
