- he was 7/8 when his family went on a camping trip up north, his fathers family used to too.
- things were fine for a day, but a flash blizzard hit and they got caught in it
- it took 3 hours before things went bad, he was stuck with his mother and brother for a bit while his dad tried to get firewood
