Ok, so we have a trouble maker who's been caught resisting the efforts of a cruel government who see that people using magic out side of the legal views of the state is considered a crime. Having been taught to use special markings on his skin to cause massive amounts of mana to course through his body, he is tattooed with these very images. Now having been locked up for using his special magic to fight the oppression, he is in need of rescue. I'm hoping for a strong female co-character, and most likely one who sympathies with his cause.
