C&C - Melding of Alternate Futures - A Multiverse Story on Earth!

Earth. Our home in the Universe. History has flown in one line, shaping the globe in various ways. But we always wondered how the Earth would of turned out, how certain events would of occurred if something else happened instead. Two Alternate Universe Earths showcase that possibility, brought together into one by a combination of events from both dimensions.

Historical Earth, but if World War II never happened. The Scientific Genius; Albert Einstein, developed a Time Travel device and went back in time before the second world war, and eliminated a future threat; Adolf Hitler. But, in doing so, the Soviet Union was unopposed and began a campaign against the Allies; conquering most of Eastern Europe and marching Westward. The Allies; a culmination of the militaries of Great Britain, France, Germany and later on the United States of America, overcame Soviet Steel and defeated them. Another War followed as a newly elected Premier with his associate; Yuri, sabotaged the Allies Nuclear Weaponry and launched a full scale invasion once more, but were ultimately defeated thanks to the Allies grouping up once more, supplied with advanced technology by Albert Einstein. After their crushing defeat, two Soviet Individuals completed a secret project and went back in time to 1927; a Physics Conference in Solvay, and eliminated Einstein. When they returned to the present; the world was changed drastically. Without Einstein's inventions, the Allies were no longer the superior force and the might of Soviet Steel pushed through Western Europe; conquering up to France and preparing a vast naval assault against Great Britain. However, a new enemy was created due to their meddling with time; the Japanese Empire of the Rising Sun. Using the opportunity, the Empire struck Russia's exposed rear and formally declared their invasion of the world. They were technologically superior to both the Soviets and the Allies; capable of mechanised vehicles with air and ground transformations, and giant mecha capable of catastrophic devastation.

An Earth altered by Aliens. Earth's history remained unchanged. World War II did occur naturally and ended as history wrote it to be. That was, until the year 1995, when a meteorite struck Italy. Within the crater lied an alien mineral which began mutating the Earth; killing the planet from the inside and out. Whatever animals and plant-life was hit by the rapidly infecting mineral were mutated into horrific beasts and creatures which also spread the mineral. The Earth faced it's darkest moments, which prompted two factions to spring up. The mineral was then by dubbed as Tiberium by these two groups. One such faction is known simply as the Brotherhood of Nod; a group of fanatics which to the rest of the world are regarded as Terrorists. But to them, they are the next step in humanity's evolution. Led by a man known only as Kane, he was revered to them as their Prophet, guiding them to the path of Ascension. The other was known as the Global Defence Initiative , a more modern day organization who is directly tasked with removing Tiberium and preserving what little remains of pure Earth. With their mass harvesting operations and careful study, they do whatever they can to protect humanity from the mineral and the Brotherhood of Nod threat. Dubbed as the Tiberium Wars, GDI and Nod clashed over time; prevailing over each other. GDI thought to of destroyed Nod during the first, only to be reawakened in the second and again in the current Third Tiberium War, Kane being a remarkably difficult individual to take down.

Two Critical Events, one from each Earth, triggered simultaneously, and in doing so, caused a multiversal anomaly to occur; merging the two Earths together into one. Dubbed by this new Earth as the Continuum Cataclysm: the dangers of the Tiberium Mineral was combined with the war raging in the other, and now a new fight is waged. But that was not all what was affected by this event. Since the merge, the Space Time Continuum continued to be damaged which resulted in numerous individuals of varying shapes, species, sizes and stories being ripped from their realities. The effect this had on them felt the same as if they had suffered a major concussion and rendered unconscious. When they would awaken, they'd find themselves in a world unknown to them; spawned in random locations of Earth. Each Faction developed technology to triangulate these spikes in energy and locate the individuals in question; in order to sway them to their side, by any means necessary.

Will this Earth be saved by these new strangers? Or will they only drown it further in darkness...​

Welcome to the Command & Conquer: Melding of Alternate Futures Interest Check!

This is a multiversal story that takes place on an Earth altered by numerous anomalies. Characters across the cosmos; be it from TV Shows, Anime, Video Games, Manga, or even characters from Universes untold, are ripped from their respectively realities with a coma, waking up to a harsh reality that was not their own. Anything can happen in this new environment and you can join in on the experience!

I'm accepting any and all individuals who might be interested in getting involved with the storyline, and it's open to all! No Knowledge of the Command and Conquer Franchise is required to participate! Furthermore, you are allowed to use characters from universes of your own design!

Now you may be wondering if your interest is piqued: "What are the limitations? Can I submit X?" And that is a good question. The Power Level of this Storyline is based on modern technology with some elements of Science Fiction and Supernatural. Shields and Laser Technology are apparent, but the majority of baseline is bullets and modern armour/metal. No Planet Busters or Superpowered Individuals, however basic Physic Power and Super Abilities are acceptable due to the presence of a Japanese Commando; Yuriko Omega, who is capable of sonic screams and telekinesis.
