Bill S.978 will Criminalize Gameplay Videos

Honestly, it looks like a seatbelt law to me. It comes down to a matter of enforceability just like with illegal mp3s. The average guy who downloads a couple hundred songs over the course of a few years isn't likely to get a knock on his door. The guy who downloads a couple hundred songs a month, however, is. Same thing with this which, like someone above me mentioned, only criminalizes already illegal activity. (For those who don't know, just because it's illegal doesn't make it a criminal offense. They're called civil offenses. Example: parking ticket. Criminal offenses can mean jail time.)
