Well there's a trailer now and it's... surprisingly decent.


Not sure I agree with how they decided to do Alita (the character) but otherwise it looks pretty cool. =]
 
While I admit the trailer captures some of the vibe of the source material, a good trailer can make a crap movie look good, the final verdict will have to wait until release.

Still, I hope this doesn't follow the vein of other Live Action Adaptations

Her enhanced eyes spook me a bit, but I can forgive it for the interest of being a little different. It's something I'd throw my money at.
