Are transparent avatars not supposed to work on Iwaku?

Something that I've noticed is like whenever I upload an avatar with a transparent background, the background turns white. Is that intended?

The background should turn whatever color your main theme background is? At least that's what happens on my computer, but I dunno if it's that way for everyone?

I've changed my avatar as an example. It turned purple now lol.

I've changed my main color to a vibrant pink, so your new avatar appears like this, in the same manner that @Elle Joyner described.

If you would prefer to use a different color for how such avatar images look to yourself, you can scroll down the page and find these theme and color settings. But, other users will see images with transparent backgrounds in their own theme color. c:

I just realized that the purple colour is like the one on my headline. I didn't like realize the heading colour like affected ur avatar too.
