It's hundred's of years into the future, human's have colonized various planets in various systems throughout the galaxy and have even discovered hundreds more races with whom they now coexist peacefully... For the most part. There are always exceptions and it isn't always humans vs. aliens.
On one particular planet (as of yet unnamed) two (or more) alien races, all humanoid in appearance but with various physical and mental characteristics (we can hash that out also, as well as what we can call them), who have spent eons fighting. Each claim the right to rule over the other, and each charge the other with murder. Before the fighting began, important figures on both sides were murdered, which catapulted them into the present situation. There is evidence to suggest it was an assassination ordered by each side, but is that really all there is to it?
Enter the poor unfortunate human/s, an/a group of explorer/s who just by chance was flying by the planet without knowledge of it or the situation below. One side of the conflict, thinking it might be an attempt by the other to spy, shoots down their ship forcing them to crash land in the wilderness and smack dab in the middle of a fight that isn't hers. They are found by a scouting party sent to find the mysterious ship and the equally mysterious pilot and taken prisoner, but what will happen to them afterwards? Will they be killed, become a slave, or perhaps be of some use to either side in this war?
Details can be worked out if interest is shown, and this can function as a one X one or a group rp.
