The theme for Afterworld: The Dark Veil (Chronological Chapter 1)

Defenders of the Dream, America and as far as intel can gather the rest of the world, has fallen.....Our job is to leave the Plug, and provide relief for the survivors on the surface. There is no known method of repairing the damage the war caused, and intel estimates that survivors are few and far between. As such a total of 200 of the Stronghold's troops will branch out in each direction, with the intention of bringing hope to the survivors found. Welcome back to the surface boys it's been too long.
From this day forward, boys, you will no longer be called the Defenders of the Dream, you will be known as the Reclaimers of the Lost Lands. It's up to you to bring the dream back to those whom have had that dream turned into a nightmare, The American Dream and way of life hasn't died, it's only been sleeping boys, and it's high time we woke it up!

The world ended in 1983, when a newly formed American government, the New Empire of America covered up a meteor strike in an effort to fuel an economy by funding a war effort against the UN, who they claimed attacked with orbital weapons. This story deals with rediscovering the planet, the opening of MP001, and the Stronghold's efforts to restore what little order they can to this now foreign world.
MP001, a military reserved plug set in the Colorado Mountains, has been unlocked, however no doors have opened yet. The inhabitants, the Defenders of the American Dream, are preparing for a full exploratory excursion into the wasteland.
This is the story of the journey to the Ruins of Detroit and the war of New Motorcity. It concerns the First Reclaimer Patrol and their NCO, Bill "Killy" Delton.

Appearance:
the only change being that he has longer hair messy, thick and a bit bush reaching down to the base of his neck
Personality on the Job: Friendly, gruff, but sort of quiet and truly only thinks hard when he's in a stressful situation. He volunteered to lead the expedition to Michigan hoping that maybe some of his family had survived there, though it was probably only wishful thinking, since the bombs fell.
Weapons: (AT THIS POINT IN TIME WEAPONS RESEARCH HAD NOT PROGRESSED AND THUS ANY FIREARMS USED ARE FROM 1983 AND BEFORE!!!) M-16A2 rifle and a H&K P9 handgun
