Border
rwRor2P.jpg

An organization spread throughout the world bent on defending the world from an unknown enemy known as Neighbors and Trion Soldiers, there is a large building at almost every major city throughout the world. In every major city, the building is in the dead center so that if any gates were to open then any agents still inside or spread throughout the city can react quickly to reach the gate and defeat the enemy a timely manner to avoid any destruction. The area around the building is usually known as the 'Forbidden Zone' due to it being a highly common area where gates tend to open.

Aside from the building appearing as a large headquarters for Border Agents, the building itself has many self defenses such as cannons and a reflector shield as well as it's walls being nearly impenetrable.

While there are many buildings scattered throughout the globe, the largest known one is located in the center of the largest city in Japan. While it is no different aside from a few extra luxuries and it is where the owner of Border resides, there are many who wish to go there simply for the experience of seeing the oversized building to compared to all the others.

At every facility, Border trains new recruits after they pass the written and physical exams prior to coming to the large building. Here, they are greeted in large groups of new recruits by one of the top 'A Rank' Squads. They will be given a grand tour of the entire building before asked as to which type of agent they wish to become whether it is an 'Attack', 'Gunner', or 'Shooter'. From there, the recruits will separate into three different groups and follow one of the squad members to a large room where they are taught into further detail about their selection of what type of agent they wish to become before also given a training trigger to show what they are capable of.

  • Triggers
    zBBZoJu.jpg

The only real effective weapon against Trion soldiers as well as when coming to fight against an enemy who uses a Trigger as well. While Border hands out Triggers to agents, almost each Trigger differs from the next as well as depending on what type of Agent the person is. 'Attackers' will have a variety range of melee Triggers, 'Gunners' will have a range of all sorts of gun Triggers, while 'Shooters' Triggers are capable of summoning a cube of pure Trion to use it any sort of way they wish depending on how well their control of their own Trion is. 'Snipers' are similar to 'Gunners' however rather than using mid to short ranged guns they specialize in using sniper rifles of all types for long range attacks. 'All Rounders' are not exactly a type of Trigger however they are moreover Agents who specialize in using more than one type of Trigger at once. While these types are normally veteran B Ranks or A Ranks, it takes usually years of training to become a perfected 'All Rounder'.

For a user to activate a Trigger, the user must have the device in the palm of their hand and call out the words 'Trigger on'. This will change the user's clothing and appearance only slightly whether it is their hair and eyes. If the user is a Border agent, their clothing will change into their respective rank. If they are Rank C, then their clothing will appear to be an orange and white uniform. If they are Rank B, their clothing will change into two different colors of their choice however will generally still look basic. Rank A and above are allowed to have their clothing change into whatever they desire however once it has been decided, it cannot be changed.

Aside from generating a weapon for the user, a Trigger also replaces the human body with what is considered an artificial Trion body. This body doubles the user's speed, endurance and strength while also protecting the user from actually dying. Getting an limb cut off does not cause the user to actually lose their limb but does constantly leak out a green particle constantly unless patched up; the green particle is Trion and after a certain amount is released, the body will forcibly be reverted back to the normal human body. If the head is struck or the heart is struck however, the revert will be instantons. If the user is a Border Agent that is of the Rank B or higher, after their Trion runs out or they are struck in the heart or head, Border Agent Triggers have a option in their Trigger allowing them to use 'Bail Out' which will send them back to the nearest Border facility; the bail out ability can also be used beforehand if the Border Agent is to call out the words 'Bail Out' and are within their Trigger form. The 'Bail Out' ability can only be used if a Border facility is within a 100mile radius of the building however, beyond that radius the ability cannot be used.

While the usual type of Trigger is a small device that fits into the palm of any person's hand. There are many different types of Triggers such as Black Triggers and those that Neighbors use. The difference between all of these though is that Triggers that Border agents use have the ability to use 'Bail Out' while all others do not have this capability due to their uniqueness.

Optional Triggers are additional properties that can be added into one's trigger. While optional Triggers lack in offense and defense capabilities, they make up for it by increasing the user's flexibility in combat allowing them to change the tide of any battle quickly if the user is experienced enough to use the optional trigger to it's fullest potential. These types of triggers can range up between going invisible, acquiring a quick boost upwards or in any direction the user wishes if stepping on a particular pad placed by the user, teleporting short distances, weighted bullets, and even curving blades.

  • Black Triggers
    340

Black Trigger may differ to all sorts of shapes and sizes whether it is a ring, a staff, the handle of a sword, or even a book. There is no limit to what a Black Trigger is able to look like however not just anyone can use one.

Black Triggers are not invented but rather made in an instant. The only way for a Black Trigger to be made is that a person with high amounts of Trion is to give up their life and put all of their lifeforce into an object. The object will become the device the new user will use as their Trigger. Due to it being created out of another person's life force, Black Triggers choose who is compatible with them by activating or not when a person holds onto it and calls out the usual words to active any Trigger. If the Trigger activates, then the person is compatible.

Unlike Triggers from Border, Black Triggers are incapable of using 'Bail Out' since they do not have that function installed into them.

Also unlike Triggers from Border, Black Triggers also do not form any designated outfit for the user but rather will change something for them whether it is indeed an outfit or give them a weapon or whatever it might be. No matter what it is though, what is changed about them will be a solid black color indicating that they are using a Black Trigger.
Black Triggers are also known to be illegal throughout the world due to how powerful they are since they nearly triple all the things that a Border Trigger is able to do while on the downside drains more Trion than normal.

  • Neighbor Triggers
    latest

Not much is known about Neighbors as it is and even less about their Triggers however what has been already confirmed is that they can use Triggers just the same way as anyone else. They also must call out the same words to activate their Trigger however unlike Border Agents, they have a variety of all different shapes and sizes for their Triggers; whether it be apart of their entire arm or a cube that causes shrapnel to fly around them and be used like magnets.

Even with the little information there is about them however, the same rules apply to them as anyone else when it comes to attacking them. If someone were to land a strike upon where their heart is or their head, then they will also revert back to their humanoid form where they can be killed.

Trion
hqdefault.jpg

Trion is a biological source of energy that resides within every living thing. It's main function is to power Triggers.

Trion within the human body is produced by an invisible organ known as the Trion gland, it is located next to the heart and is constantly developing until the age of 20. Just like muscle, the Trion gland will benefit from a good diet, rest and exercise. The more one trains their Trion gland, the higher their production and better control they have of their Trion will grow.
Those with high amounts of Trion will tend to develop what is known as a 'Side Effect' due to their large amount of Trion within their body.

When it comes to controlling the value of one's Trion, the more experienced the user is in controlling their Trion the more defined one can their weapons or even all the more powerful in a strike or shot of their weapon. As an example, someone with high control of their Trion can turn an ordinary training Attack Trigger from a flat dull broad sword into a katana or a 'Gunner' can with high Trion who uses a sniper can end up firing a blast similar to that of a cannon.

Side Effect

Those with high amounts of Trion will tend to manifest what is considered a 'Side Effect', it is uncommon to near impossible for a person to develop more than one side effect.

These abilities can range from all sorts of things ranging from enhanced physical attributes, to extrasensory perception, special anatomies, or even enhanced senses.

Ranging from Rank C which are considered Trainees to Rank B which are moreover official agents and finally Rank A which are top agents who are considered the best of the Border agents aside from the rare cases of 'S' ranks. Only agents from Ranks A and above are allowed to go onto 'Away' missions. The only way for a Rank C agent to be promoted to a Rank B is that they must acquire 4000 points while starting at 1000 points after becoming an official Trainee once arriving at Border. Points for Trainees on their training Triggers can be acquired through optional rank matches with fellow trainees.

Rank A can be acquired both as a team or individual during official rank matches between either solo or other teams of Rank B's. After doing well in Rank B matches and being seen as eligible by other Rank A's, they are allowed to be promoted.

Anyone that is compatible with a Black Trigger is automatically promoted to a Rank S.

Away Missions

Missions that usually take days and possibly at times weeks to undergo before agents are allowed to return.

Only Rank A and above agents are allowed to go on these missions as it sends a ship that runs off of Trion through the bodies of the agents within it.
The concept of the mission is to send agents out to other worlds to investigate and scout dangers of nearby worlds and attempt search and rescues if needed. At times it is also for research so that Border may also learn about Neighbors.
