Rose Weasley is the first born of the youngest son of Molly Weasley's children, Ron Weasley, and the smartest witch of Harry Potter's generation, Hermione Granger. She was well loved, and a regular daddies girl since day one. Her parents did their best to instill a sense of independence in her while never forcing her to grow up to quick as they had. She was the center of their universe but quickly learned to share when her brother, Hugo, came along and stole some of her lime light. (Not that she's old enough to really remember that.) Despite this she loves her brother unconditionally, even if he may grind her nerves now and then. But hey, What siblings don't?
She grew up surrounded by kids her age and learn very early on how to socialize, quickly growing a love of speaking and playing with her cousins and close family friends as often as possible. However a large family can make it rather hard to find some piece for ones self. When she reached the age where she realized that so much family was taking on her nerves was around the time her Aunt Audrey gifted her with a sketch book and some pencils. She had coloring books before but never something without lines she HAD to follow. The choice was all hers, she could make Anything she wanted. No one could tell her what to do. Her talents flourished.
Her years before Hogwarts were filled with: a loving family, loads of pick up Quidditch games, family bonding, harmless pranks, silly rivalries, mountains of books, piles of sketches, and just general fun and tom-foolery.

About Him/Her
Personality:
Rose can be considered very independent. She tends venture out and is, by nature, go-getters, often leading the way. This does not mean she enjoys being a leader however, in fact she perfers more often then not to NOT lead. She doesn't want to be a follower, either. She moves to the beat of her own drum, and prefers it when those around her do the same. Unfortunately, her upbeat and magnetic personality often entices others to follow her lead because her personality bring excitement into others lives. Luckily, her temper works against this aspect of her personality and tents to keep to many people from seeing her as the leader she knows she's not.
Rose will always be a good friend, once you have befriended her. She always look out for her friends with caring and generosity. Rose will protect them should the need arise and encourage them to be their own person and branch out. She always want to see her friends grow and succeeded. However, if this is because she really wants them to grow or simply because she can't stand to see wasted potential is unclear. If confronted, be it friend or foe, she can turn to be quite childish, and will fight back with her aggressive nature. She's even known to have the occasional temper tantrums should she not get her way. Luckily the older she get the less this happens.
Rose is more then willing to take a gamble, no matter how big, if it means following her dreams and goals. She strives for self improvement and craves challenges. If improvement or success, however little it may be, is not immediate she tends to lose courage or conviction. If this continues to long she's liable to simply give up, leaving whatever it was she started unfinished with little to no closure.
She can become childish or moody should she be given orders that she does not like. Rose easily take offense to comments made if she can find fault in them. Rose tends to be self-involved and can be self-centered when she forgets pay attention to the feelings of others. When their is no other options, Rose will tell lies to try and make things work out in her and her friends favor. She, however, is not a very good liar and other people can usually see through her; so she avoids telling lies and sticks to half-truths when necessary.
Underneath her strong, independent surface lies insecurity. This is due to the intense drive to succeed and her putting too much pressure on herself, thus resulting in self-doubt. However, her natural optimism and enthusiasm overtakes this and her underlying insecurity may never be known to others.

Fears:
Her biggest fear is being completely out of control. All through her life her parents have allowed her a degree of control over everything she does. This plus her own desire to never be left grasping at straws, to always have a plan, has left her with the crippling fear of losing control. She's scared of the failure and uncertainty that may result from no longer being 'At the helm of the steam boat'.
To a lesser degree she has a fear of wasps, small rodents, and the cartoon character Mickey Mouse.
Strength:
She's not easily stopped, one might consider her stubbornness a flaw but she wears it like a badge of pride. Her mind will not be changed on someone elses whim and when she has something she's truly passionate about it's really an awful idea to try and stop her. It's a sure fire away to get you socked in the face, or at least a cold shoulder.
For someone who's all about action she's actually quite talented in defense. She's lighting quick to shield herself, and even quicker when it's other who need it. Rose will always stand up for those who need it and rarely backs down when her finds need her.
Also she's got a mean left hook.
Weakness:
She's known to have a wicked temper and mean left hook for anyone who sets her off. Her quick temper means she's rather emotional, and while she is quick to throw a punch she is just as quick to cry. She tries her best to hide tears but some times they just can't be stopped.
She has a constant need for control which can make her come across a little bossy at times.
She's absolutely rubbish at herbology, she just can't understand the subtle nuisances of plants and such. She can't stand the fact she's so bad at it and insists that it's the rubbish one, not her.
Talents:
You ever need someone to have your back in a brawl Rose is really the one to call. She's a scrapper like you've never seen. Her defense is solid and her offense is down right diabolical.
She's an extremely accomplished artist for someone her age, even more so when considering she's never taken a class. It may have something to do with how often she's doing it. She claims it helps her think clearly, and listen better in lectures. If her scores are anything to go by it must work.
