Iwaku is very old, and with it comes a lot of history of people coming and going. Great wonderful life events and unfortunately, really sad ones too. :(
If anyone remembers Iliana from at least a decade ago - 2012 era - she passed away suddenly a few days ago. I know she had a bunch of friends here that she might've lost contact with and would want to know. You can check out her facebook page if you want to leave her or her family a message.
She was a staffer here at Iwaku for a bit and was a very creative and lively person, and sometimes even a hot mess. Iliana was also the one that sent me my very first french press for making goodass coffee.
I dug up one of her really old poetry threads, cause I think it's really cool that her work is still out here.
