[fieldbox=Hi!, olive, dashed] So, I've been throwing these ideas around in my head for a while, and just decided to go "Screw it, let's see if anybody's even interested!" If you have any questions or concerns feel free to ask![/fieldbox]

'Blackout'
(Slightly based off of the Gone series by Michael Grant)

Genre(s):
Apocalyptic, Slight Horror, Slight Supernatural

Introduction:
For years, the world has been worrying about global warming, about how natural resources were being depleted at a rapid pace, about how sooner or later, the earth will be destroyed by its inhabitants.

What they didn't expect, however, was for their planet to retaliate.

In a small town situated directly by the Olympic Peninsula, the fauna began to produce a special pollen which contained pathogens that infected a person and caused organ systems to rapidly shut down, a semi-quick but painful death. The only thing is, this pathogen strand only effected those under the age of 7 and above the age of 22.

The internet disappeared, cell phones could no longer gain signals to those outside of town, the kids had no way of contacting the outside world. At first, nobody knew what to do, and it was only until somebody tried to leave town did they realize the true gravity of the situation.

For a barrier which only let in air had been erected, completing the isolation of the kids from the rest of the world.

Of course, these kids and young adults have to establish a government/society with its own set of laws and rules. They also have to worry about what to do about food, water, basic needs, entertainment, etc...

But what happens to the rest of the world? What happens when a group of people begins to form, suggesting the idea that there is no more of the rest of the world, that they're the only ones left?

Or most importantly, what happens when you turn 23?

'It All Started in Algebra'
(Slightly based off of HSOTD)

Genre(s):
Apocalyptic, Supernatural, Horror

Introduction:
Everybody has, at one point or another, talked about the apocalypse. We picture scenarios, Hollywood makes TV series about it - hell, some even prepare for it. For example, a great topic among some students in a certain high school is what they would do if the apocalypse decided to hit their generation.

Too bad the one thing they never expected was for the world to end while they were in after-school detention.

Enter our protagonists, a bunch of high-school students who, for one reason or another, had to attend detention on a Tuesday afternoon, when the only people there were custodians and the one Algebra teacher everybody hates.

But when a student points out the fact that there is a strange man in the corridor, and the teacher goes to investigate, locking the door behind him, and the students hear a scream not even three minutes later, what happens? When they figure out that, somehow, the zombie apocalypse has occurred, what will they do? Will some try to return to their families? Will some try to leave the city? Who knows, but one thing is for sure.

For now, it's in their best interest to stick together, or death will surely come swiftly.
