The Staff of Iwaku wish to create and maintain a safe, friendly, fun, and flourishing roleplay community. Our ultimate goal is to ensure an atmosphere where members feel comfortable to express themselves.

The following is a brief explanation of Iwaku's staffing system.
OWNER & ADMIN: Diana
Diana pays the bills, organizes the staff, maintains the site, and make the day-to-day choices for running the community.
Community's role on the site is providing a fun, welcoming, and active site experience to members. They help to maintain non-roleplay areas, support members in planning and coordinating on-site events and projects, provide creative content such as roleplay guides or graphic resources, interact with the community, and work to create a positive vibe in the off-topic areas of the site.
The focus of Roleplay is on keeping the core interest of the site alive and healthy, in addition to maintaining roleplay areas. They bear the brunt of thread moderation and help teach valuable roleplaying skills through creative content guides or active roleplay workshopping. They keep an eye out for rules-breaking and other issues in roleplay threads and are the front line for reporting problems.
Site Support keeps the site running smoothly and works to resolve user issues. In addition to processing site reports regarding to maintenance issues, they deliver friendly messages and rules reminders to help members use the site correctly or answers questions and technical problems in the Help Desk area.
The Security Department handles breaches of policy or member-related issues on the site. They investigate reports, handle cases, and help to clarify rules. They may also give out warnings or bans for problematic behavior.
Interns are staff-in-training. They do basic thread moderation tasks as they learn their mod controls and find their groove.
SERVER TECHNICIAN: Jared
The site Server Technician maintains the server machine on which Iwaku is run and handles site-wide technical problems.
We understand that sometimes members have a dispute with a staff member, whether it's to challenge a decision they've made or over a problematic behavior. If you have an issue with someone on staff, you can send a report directly to the Administration via THIS FORM. Only the Admins will see it, and they will review and handle your case accordingly.
