It doesn't make anyone worse or better. A person who believes in peacefull genocide and who refuse to feel shame for his actions and words cannot be reasoned with. Sometimes we have to rise the fuck up. Trying to abuse Ghandis words in this context gets you nowhere. This isn't about Eye for an Eye. We tried peacefull. We now have the Nationalistic, Misogynistic, LGBT hostile, Ethno-Centric, information supressing orange turd as the president for the mightiest country in the world. This despite him losing the vote by around 3 fucking million votes.

A person who wants to remove the right for water, (A human right as established by the UN by the fucking way), who put his billoinare buddies in a position to rob you guys blind, defund schools, social programs, medical programs oh and he is likely under russias thumb.

Yeah now. Nazis should be punched. They are nazis. They cannot be reasoned with.

I've read that people were paid to start acting out. However, the same has been said of both sides throughout this entire election period. The truth is, there are always going to be people who have no clue how to behave. That's not a partisan issue, that's a human issue. People are scared, and fear makes people do stupid things. That is a fact of life. You can't preach division and hatred for a year and not expect violence in some form.

I protested the inauguration in my own way and that was by turning my TV on and giving my share of ratings to the ID channel. Hit 'em were it hurts, and with Trump that's in the ego!

As for the whole punching of Richard Spencer....honestly, I don't condone violence, but I have no sympathy for him. Preach hate and that's what you get. Nazis deserve to be hit. They're subhuman individuals who would gladly cause harm to anyone who does not meet their standards. The way I see it, it's self defense.

Spare us the mindless rhetoric. These people will only get the right to defend themselves from being physically attacked by those who disagree with them. Opinions, no matter how despicable, should not result in folks getting assaulted. Suddenly, you give them the justification to oppress you if you actually believe they are capable of doing so.

In all honesty, Trump hardly qualifies as being LGBT-hostile or ethnocentric. Would an ethnocentrist appoint a black man to his cabinet, or an Indian as ambassador to the United Nations? Defunding public services is also something I'm quite fond of so that hardly bothers me.

The straw that breaks the camel's back, however, is that you are bold enough to call these people Nazis. This kind of exaggeration is why American politics is so toxic. Not everyone you disapprove of is a Nazi.

You claim to not condone violence while condoning violence. Now, as much as I dislike accusing others of hypocrisy...

The world is confusing and the fires hypnotising. Hell rages on earth, but the devil is not Trump. It's humanity. Trump is the jester. The comedic symbol of mourning and dependance that divide us, even if we are feeling the same emotions.

When will the individual be accountable. If only I could tell. Just watching this unfold teaches me more about the cultural shift than any seminar ever could.

You are not what you think. You are not what you do. You are who you're associated with. And to preserve this frail sense of identity, you become it.

While I tend to agree with that, Richard Spencer is calling for ethnic cleansing of non-whites, for the establishment of a whites-only ethno-state, and even the subversion of the U.S. constitution in the process of establishing such a state. And I know he calls for a "peaceful" ethnic cleansing. ._. I just honestly don't see how such a thing is possible.

How can ethnic cleansing be peaceful? Serious question. The people outside of Spencer's ideal race are not all immigrants. They are U.S citizens. You can't just send these people to another country that they do not belong to just because they're not white. That's the only peaceful ethnic cleansing I can think of....

Does he endorse National Socialist economic theory, having the state seize the means of production from the bourgeois, or the conquest of the entire planet? If the answer to any of these statements is no, he is not a Nazi.

I stand with every brother and sister affected in the years to come, times will get worse and while I can do little from my position, I will fight in what ways I can. Your logical fallacies are: cherry-picking, hasty generalizations, and false equivalence. Definitions do in fact matter, otherwise we'd all be throwing terms around that we don't understand. Fascism, Nazism, populism, and white nationalism all share similar elements but are not the same things. I am not defending Richard Spencer in any way, shape, or form. I am saying that he is not a Nazi. By his own account, this is true. He has stated in the past that he is not a neo-Nazi. He's still an awful person, I can admit that much.

But for the love of Buddha, calm down. Trump is the Andrew Jackson of the modern era. Both were populists who resorted to extreme reactions in the face of criticism. Fascism requires the dismantling of democratic-republicanism, it requires the permanent guidance of the state-approved strongman (rather than the implementation of term limits, which Trump supports), it has a plethora of requirements that are not being met whatsoever. Thankfully, basic facts transcend by alleged white privilege (my Haudenosuanee grandfather would laugh at you, however).
