Ok I am only going to review because there has been a lack of those this time. I wasn't going to because I am not much of a poetry fan, just my personal thing. For that reason, I'm not going to review the poems simply because I don't feel like I can be fair with them. (I'm sorry! If you're really dying for my opinion after all the voting is done etc... please feel free to message me and I'll do my best)
Ok so onward!
A Single Step
[spoili]
I'll be honest, slice of life type rps tend to bore me so I did struggle to read this, at first. HOWEVER! I did enjoy it because the characters were well written. I felt that I could relate to them as real people who are hurting. If a story can make me feel something, no matter the genre, it's automatically awesome! That's the goal of a writer, to create a bond between the reader and the characters and thereby evoking emotions. The author did that for me with the story and that's saying something because not many stories will do that. So, awesome job!! I am impressed with how real your characters are. In addition, it's not just the characters that were well done, the scene was well described and I easily found myself visualizing everything which is another key component to writing.
Over all, very well written!! I did enjoy reading it.
My only real issue was that it was very slow and seemed like a couple of small scenes were dragged out, but that's often the case with slice of life, which is not my preferred reading material. So personal preference there.

The Devils Christmas
[spoili]
This one was written well, in the sense that the descriptions were engaging and made it easy to imagine. The usage of words was very good and transitions between paragraphs was easy.
That being said though, I was very confused right from the beginning. The character was on a mission, I could tell that much but what that mission was, I had no idea, I still don't really know.
I don't understand what the invisible thing attacking the character was or what was happening with that or why.... I'm finding myself struggling for what to say because I don't know what happened and don't understand the story.... maybe I missed something?
good job with the word usage, descriptions and overall writing skill. I think my issue was simply just that, my issue. Demon/Devil stories are not my thing either and maybe that's where I got lost.

Passage to Piracy
[spoili]
Over all, I think that it was a well composed story with a cohesive begging middle and end. I loved the unique twist of Davy Jones Locker. The usage of actual nautical/ pirate terms was nice too and helped make it feel a little more real.
I also enjoyed the subtle transition from wimpy scared girl to pirate, and the nice little touch between the two main characters at the end. it was like, ok, she's good, she's going to survive being a pirate after all.
The death scenes were fun to read (because I'm terrible like that)
There were a couple of things I didn't like though. I didn't feel connected to the characters really. Maybe it's because romance is not my forte? Doesn't really appeal..... I wanted there to be more piracy and less romance haha. I would have loved to read more about life on a ship, I am totally fascinated with that and there wasn't a lot of that there. However, that wasn't the point of the story so personal preference there.
For what it was, I think it was very well done with potential to be even better

Ok, there you go, authors, don't hate me D: This is just all my humble opinion as a reader.
