Optimus Prime observed the unfolding scene, noting the diverse reactions and requests from the newly awakened individuals. Each had their own way of adjusting to their new reality, yet all were united in their confusion and desire for answers. He turned his attention back to Arden, understanding the need to balance immediate needs with long-term goals.

"We all need our equipment to function effectively," Optimus said, his voice calm but firm. "We appreciate your hospitality, but our belongings are essential for our safety and for understanding why we are here."

Arden hesitated, clearly weighing her options before nodding. "Alright, we can arrange that. But understand, this world is harsh, and resources are limited. Cooperation is crucial if we are to survive together."

Optimus nodded, appreciating her pragmatism. "Understood. While I cannot speak for everyone else here, I am grateful you have thawed me out from my frozen state. I owe you a great debt. Now, can you tell us more about this place? What are the dangers we face?"

Arden glanced around at her fellow scavengers, then back at the group of diverse beings. "Nuclear war was what happened...Followed by a rip in the universal fabric, allowing guys like you to pass through...This world is a wasteland. Resources are scarce, and we scavenge to survive. There are other groups, not all of them friendly. And the weather... it can turn deadly fast. You need to be prepared for anything. Such as raiders. They come around and menace us and other colonies like ours for resources."

Girania

The Viera followed the scavengers out of the cave with the rest of the group. Upon looking at the city, she could tell that they were living the best they could with little to work with. As an adventurer, Girania had seen varying sights of poor living, especially in Ul'Dah where Ala Mhigan refugees had done everything from living right outside the city walls to flat out living in caves. Another example would be area of Ishgard where she had seen people starve or freeze to death in front of her. This settlement had a few signs of being similar to them, but there were big differences.

Bah! Now was not the time for comparisons!
Girania refocused onto following the others. She could handle the snow and cold well, enough, but she absolutely cannot engage on learning the circumstances and culture of these people until everything was said and done.

Out of the corner of Girania's eye, she would see an obscured figure approaching the group from afar. The snow blowing across the tundra ground made it difficult to make out what exactly was approaching, but they could be able to make out it was some sort of humanoid figure quickly approaching them.

Which was all but confirmed by the echo of his screaming.

"RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!"

The man was making a run for it, struggling to keep up speed as his feet continued to sink deeper and deeper into the snow. He was wearing a stylish red and black spandex attire, which gently caressed against his body in a way that complimented the curvature of his hips, and helped sculpture his derrière for the pleasuring of viewing audiences.

But any more description of him will land this thread in the redstar section, for now, he was frantically running away from something in the fog of the growing snowstorm.

"RUN FOR IT! IT'S RIGHT BEHIND ME, JUST FUCKIN' GO!" The sexy spandex man shouted to everything, barely able to catch his breath as he had been running for some time. Right as he was just a few feet away from the group, he finally stopped running and collapsed into the snow; panting and coughing loudly.

"COUGHCOUGH... Ahhh, God, this dry air is killing my lungs... Ohhhh, I knew I shouldn't have skipped leg day! I was so focused on my glamour muscles, I just kept pushing them off until later, and now I'M GONNA DIE BECAUSE OF MY VANITY!" As he raved aloud his nonsense, whatever was chasing him was coming into sight through the fog.

Its shadowy figure was large and round, and unlike the red spandex man, slowly approached the team like a predator would its prey when it knew it was trapped. It let out a loud growl the closer it got, and when it seemed ready to pounce on them all... The snowy fog lifted and they could all see it clearly.

It was much smaller and less intimidating than its shadowy figure had suggested. With its loud growls just being cute laughter echoing across the tundra.

Girania

… It was concerning that situations like these were more common than they have any right to be in Girania's life. Strangely-clothed people being chased by dangerous creatures of various size and cuteness? Welcome to the life of an adventurer. If you're not dealing with obvious threats or wars between three tribes of giants, you're dealing with protecting a man from danger while he soaks in the damn hot spring, or trying to figure out what those weird Beavers were doing everywhere and what they have to do with missing people.

All of this is to say that bizarre situations wouldn't stop her from helping someone. So, probably against her better judgement given that's she's naked, she ran over to the man to help him back up.

Greed. Aodh sensed the classic desire of greed in the direction of the screams, and as it followed the rabbit woman, found it in the form of a small, armless ball with the hat of a jester. How interesting! Evil jesters were often overplayed in songs and adventurer tales, with the truth being that Jesters were rarely evil, and if they were, they were quickly found out and disposed of. It was an intriguing sight to see something similar attain such power.

Naturally, Aodh simply observed the situation, though it had to do so in a way that helped to build trust. Its vessel moved to assist the rabbit lady in helping the pervert that was in trouble, keeping an eye on the jester-like being to see what it would do.

Optimus Prime immediately assessed the situation as the man in red spandex came barreling toward them, screaming in panic. The sight of him collapsing in the snow, ranting about his skipped leg days, would have been almost comical if not for the urgency in his voice. The shadowy figure emerging from the fog, large and menacing, had all the hallmarks of a serious threat.

Optimus moved quickly, stepping forward to place himself between the group and whatever was approaching. His optics narrowed, scanning the creature as it came into view. However, as the fog lifted and the true form of the creature was revealed—a much smaller, less intimidating being—the tension in the air shifted. What had appeared to be a monstrous threat was, in reality, a small, seemingly harmless creature, its growls revealed to be nothing more than playful laughter.

Optimus tilted his head slightly, his wariness giving way to a cautious curiosity. He looked over at the scavengers, who seemed equally bewildered by the turn of events.

Arden, the leader of the scavengers, stepped forward, her hand still hovering near a makeshift weapon at her side. "What in the world...?" she muttered, squinting at the small creature. She glanced at the collapsed man in the spandex, then back at the creature. "Is this what you were running from?"

One of the scavengers, a younger man with a scruffy beard, chuckled and shook his head. "You mean to tell me you ran all this way, screaming like a banshee, over that little thing?" He gestured to the creature, which was now happily bouncing around in the snow, its playful demeanor in stark contrast to the terror it had inspired.

Optimus Prime, ever the calm and collected leader, approached the small creature cautiously. He knelt down, bringing himself closer to its level, and observed it with a thoughtful expression. "Appearances can be deceiving," he said, his voice gentle but firm. "We should not underestimate anything in this world, no matter how small or harmless it may seem."

Arden nodded, agreeing with Optimus's assessment. "You're right. This place has thrown stranger things at us before. We can't afford to be careless."

The scavengers slowly relaxed, though they remained alert. The situation, while not as dire as initially thought, had reminded them all of the unpredictable nature of their environment. Arden looked at the man in spandex and then at the rest of the group. "Alright, let's keep moving. But stay sharp. Life doesn't give us second chances."

Optimus Prime stood up and glanced at Girania and the Sorceress, who had moved to help the man in spandex. "Thank you for your quick response," he said to them. "In times like these, every action matters."

Laios
Laios who has been very confused by the situation and his sudden departure from his party & their goal of saving his sister. Laios has been quietly going along the group he was awoken with. The arrival of this strange creature has peaked his interest wishing he had his journal to take notes on it. But being with out it he would settle for getting a closer look at it

It reminds him of the familiars the Marcille had made. Not really his favorite aesthetic for a monster but still a chance to see a monster unlike anything he had seen before more than made up for it.

The machine of unfiltered warfare made a step forward, it's metal feet leaving an imprint on the snow below it. It examined the small creature placed in front of it, a small yellow ball with large brown shoes and a jester hat. How peculiar. It's optical sensor immediately took note of all of the features and saved it, classifying it in its systems as soon as it placed its eye on it. It did the very same with the others who surrounded it. To it, the small ball of pink flesh was just yet another blood source.

It made its way to the to the creature, walking past the other machine that kneeled to it. V1 crouched down looking it in the eyes. It stared, endlessly. Not a single blink or a sign of life behind the whirring of its insides. It suddenly lifted its finger, pointing at it. Its head slowly turned to the other machine next to it. Taking note of it, seeing as how it was now closer to it. It classified it as a Supreme Machine, seeing as to how it was sentient and was most likely very much capable of dealing greats amount of damage in one blow. It would be a severe threat in the future if the time came.

The red-spandex man had to do a double take at the naked woman coming up beside him, jiggling so gracefully in the frigid winds like this was a playboy photo shoot. This was a bluestar RP, wasn't it? "Well... One part of me just got warmed up," he quipped, before taking Girania's hand to stand back up.

"Hi! Name's Deadpool," he introduced himself to her, "hero for hire, merc with the mouth, and mutant lover boy when the time calls for it. There a nudist colony around here, or are you just happy to see some rugged man-meat? No offense, blondie," he quickly told Laios, "I get more of the 'only gets dominant when asked by his older-switch-lover who pats him gently on the head for being a good boy' type from you. While I am flexible in all aspects of the physical and emotional needs of the human body~" Hey, Knightess opened herself up to this by deciding her lady should come into this naked.

"Also, you look vaguely familiar to me. Do you happen to go to the synagogue on 14th Union Street?" He then asked Optimus Prime, just very randomly.

"Also also," finally getting back on track with his fear from earlier, he pulled out both his guns and aimed them right at the pink blob, "KILL THE GODDAMN THING!" He yelled at V1, who was literally RIGHT THERE for him to strangle the little bastard. But no, instead he decided to just get into a staring contest with it; the creature looking at first into his singular eye, then the tip of his finger as he pointed to it. Without warning, the creature did a little spin in place, and popping out of the ground came a colorful beach ball he then began to balance on comically.

"Don't let its cheerful, optimistic, easily marketable for children looks deceive you! That little bastard is a diabolical demon disguised as a plushy doll, and like the Norwegians in The Thing, I'mma put a bullet in its head before it devours us all-GHAAH!"

Out of nowhere, the faint sound of snpier fire went off, and a bullet suddenly struck through Deadpool's throat; blood spraying all over Girania's face and bluestar censored body parts. (How far can we dance on this line, I wonder.) He dropped his guns to the ground and quickly grabbed at his throat to try and stop the excessive amount of blood spilling out the wrong end of his throat, only to pratfall face-first into the snow.

And before anyone could help him, another round was fired off at Aodh. This time, the trajectory of the bullet was from a different location, meaning there were multiple shooters. And if that wasn't bad enough, something much bigger came falling out of blizzard; landing right on Optimus' neck with enough force to throw him to his knees. He would feel two large blades stab at the sides of his neck, like a spider's fangs trying to bite into its prey.

The creature attacking him was unlike anything the group had seen before in their worlds.
