What "year" in the Star Wars universe is this game set in? I'm guessing some time fairly shortly after the end of Revenge of the Sith, but I wouldn't want to write up a character history based on a guess that turns out to be wrong. :)

I believe that an alternate universe that parallels the canon will be best (: That way we're not tied down to any potential plot holes, and I'd prefer not to puppet any canon characters that require meticulous representation. if we wish to merge the canon story with the AU at some point, I do know an option of doing so. For now though, leaving it open will allow for a new looming plot that is not distracted or derailed by canon events.
