In celebration of Mermay, we welcome everyone to participate in this fun mermaid-themed writing activity. To begin, choose any of the prompts that inspire you from the list below and start writing! Prompts:
A mermaid is pulled out of the water in a fisherman's nest. They aren't pleased and it won't be the start of a romance.
Someone suspects that the newest member of their competitor's swim team is a mermaid, and swears to prove it.
When an angler fish bites a human, they'll turn into a mermaid/merman! Such a fate befalls your character, and now they must figure out how to navigate the underwater world while looking for ways to change back.
