The last human, if you could call him that, stared out the window of his craft around the last Red Dwarf Star. Through his genetic modifications, body swapping and mechanical enhancements he had outlived his parents, his children, his grandchildren, his great grandchildren and so on. He had watched empires rise and fall, wars across the galaxies, and now he was not only the last human in existence, but the last being.
