I heard of some joke food called "deep-fried butter". While I don't mind eating just a bit of salted butter, a whole lump of butter covered in breadcrumbs and egg wash sounds like it'd make me throw up. Some person was saying they just buy it, taste it, laugh at how disgusting it is and throw it away, which is pretty wasteful.
