So, first of all this roleplay will be taking place in an alternate universe compared to that of the actual show of D-Gray Man...so there will be little to no interactions with actual canon characters from the show whatsoever due to them not existing in this universe. The only canon character that will be in this roleplay will simply be the Millenium Earl only because he is the main villain of all things, he will be played as an NPC; other than that all other characters will be played as characters and as OCs only.
There will be some additions of some things that is not already in show included into the roleplay and all will be explained within the Lore Thread if the roleplay actually gets off the ground and starts.

For as long as time has been around, innocence and the Millenium Earl have always existed; thousands of years ago, the wielder of the heart of all innocence had defeated the Earl. After which had caused the three days of darkness to consume over the Earth as well as the great flood overcoming the planet causing the shards of innocence to end up scattering throughout the world for future generations to find.
After the resurrection of the Millenium Earl, he vowed to find all the innocence as well as the heart of innocence to destroy each and every one of them only to end up putting the world back through another three days of darkness.
6900 years after the Earl had resurrected, the cube was found, the foundation for the New World Alliance started, Hevlaska became the first exorcist, and the foundation of the Black Order had been formed. People from all over came to the Black Order and were informed about the situation were either bestowed upon an innocence or they were already born with one known as a parasitic-type. Those who are unable to become exorcists were known as Finders.

Due to anonymous tip, it was said that finding the wielder of the Heart of Innocence is impossible however to find them; one must first find the Holy Chalice which is said to reveal the location of the Holy Grail in which will finally reveal the location of the wielder of the Heart of Innocence which is supposedly the Garden of Eden. The tip also included the fact that the Holy Chalice was actually an innocence that someone already possessed but was unaware of it, while the Holy Grail was actually simply a person who was born with the ability of the Grail itself. After the Black Order had received the tip about where and how to find the wielder of the Heart of Innocence; one of the Noah had also received the very same tip which was soon delivered to the Earl.
With the new information that both sides now acquired, although many exorcists questioned whether or not the tip could be trusted the higher ups had made the decision to trust it and the new hunt for whomever possibly held the innocence of the Holy Chalice had now begun.

There is a chance of some other small changes to happen as the interest thread remains open. It is still simply an idea that is more than willing to take other ideas from anyone to add into it.
