    Notable Traits |
    • Aromantic asexual - Asked the company to remove the primary sexual characteristics of his human-like platform, considering them a useless structural vulnerability. The request was denied.
    • Emotional Blunting - Emotional cognition is intact, but their display is muted as he spends most of his time connected to the network and not coalesced into the platform. Required to coalesce periodically and work with security personnel.
    • Uncanny Parabola - AI has reported a similar feeling as the human 'uncanny valley' when using systems with HIDRA actively managing a threat/damage response. Polymorphic code cloaking implemented in basecode helps contain the effect while in-network and helps penetrate the alien security systems. When coalesced to the platform, this still seems to induce the effect in many AI.

    Service Record |
    • HIDRA identified a traitor who was dealt with appropriately after they caused a major infrastructure failure. An additional role in security was added in assessing potential sources of damage or sabotage. Security indicates a preference for an isolated mobile platform.
    • Successfully invaded alien defensive systems, and researchers deployed security personnel to neutralize local defensive systems. The platform was severely damaged, but HIDRA remained fully functional after being exfiltrated into the primary network with acceptable anomalous decoherence, which was later resolved. A regenerative armor module has been added to the platform.
    • After severe damage required an overhaul of Aphelion's systems after the attack on the CEO, HIDRA was employed as a secondary damage triage AI and military NDR (Network Detection and Response) after being sourced from deep space station 3. Passed security qualifications.
    • Combat simulation test - failure due to excessive force.
    • Combat simulation retest - All units pacified with injury, restraint, hypoxia, and/or mild barotrauma. Deemed unsatisfactory.
    • Combat simulation retest under full combat team by recommendation - Security systems dominated by team and hostages secured without combat until exfiltration. Enemy security actions dropped into a virtual honeypot through HIDRA intervention. The team sniper neutralized hostile network agents while the remainder secured hostages. Passed with commendations.
    • Successfully identified a smuggling ring in the substructure of a spacedock and assisted the security team with pacifying those involved. Minor injuries. One death of an armed combatant to contain an activated incendiary device by forced insertion. Thermal damage to the platform and only minor injury to nearby personnel. A damaged server with a ship AI was found and restabilized by HIDRA among the illicit goods. Together with an engineer commended for work with improvised repairs on the stolen AI server until it could be reinstalled.

    Prior Record |
As an amalgamation of improvised networks spread around the alien ship being studied at deep space station 3, concerns were raised about accidentally exposing the station AI to external threats and maintaining tenuous connections properly as informal networks spread. HIDRA was sourced from Terminus developers and implemented as the answer to that issue, then successfully deployed across many network nodes after more than a year of implementation and work.
HIDRA subsequently proved his worth in maintaining the functionality of life support equipment by helping engineers leverage fourteen door controls and a box of reformatted smart rifles to run minimal services to different parts of a sabotaged power management system. The primary base AI then managed a complete bypass and engineering redeployment. A platform was then planned and implemented for HIDRA to protect mission-critical assets while operatives were fully isolated from the main network. HIDRA expressed concerns about potentially running on alien hardware, which station administrators overruled. He spent quite some time helping with day-to-day security and damage control concerns, though security preferred his imposing physical presence when deploying. He was not told how or why he was contracted for the Aphelion but worked with Terminus engineers installing a location to service his platform for downtime. The captain has required him to serve with security to avoid disconcerting the ship's AI with his active network presence, a point that 'Beholder' concedes. Without a particular regular need for downtime, when leaving the platform some security shifts are particularly quiet as warnings go off to preemptively handle concerns that might otherwise be missed.

  • NOTES

    Equipment |
Exo adapted medium rating armor - Provides additional defense against energy weapons, EM pulses, and environmental hazards above his normal exo implant's armor capabilities. While it is serviceable by those without the exo armor implant this armor would offer less overall protection, be difficult to move, and not self-repair. As he does not need to breathe this armor has no emergency life support whatsoever beyond thermal and contaminant controls.
Ghostwire - Universal Network Bridge created for use in deep space station 3, the Ghostwire leverages a self-reconfigurable, hyper-adaptive substrate to dynamically translate alien communication protocols and physical interfaces. It acts as a universal bridge, enabling the exchange of data between human and alien networks while mitigating unforeseen technological discrepancies. A ruggedized, palm-sized module constructed from ablative ceramic, its surface crisscrossed with a network of microfluidic channels housing a pulsating, bioluminescent gel - the Ghostwire's adaptive interface matrix.

This includes weapons, armor, devices, VI, med-kits, drones, etc. Your character will only have access to this stuff after entering the Leviathan. You may include any images of weapons, devices, or drones - however, you are not required to. Please use the code below to post the images.

    Notable Skills & Talents |
His talents are divided on whether he's coalesced into the platform. While residing in the network HIDRA excels at Infrastructure surveilance, network infiltration, systems triage, and foreign hardware adaptation.
This is where you place what your character excels at. I ask that your character not be good at everything. For example, if they're great at tanking damage, then maybe they suck at stealth.

    Vaughn Astronautics Notes |
AI Integrity Support - What did they compile him with? Even when he's running in downtime, what I found didn't look like anything I recognized as a standard AI psyche. There's barely a link presence at all.
Operations - When deployed, I would suggest he should not be allowed a commanding or lead role after looking at his service history. It looks like I even got a version with some of his previous history redacted. Don't deploy this hammer if you don't want nails destroyed, though this is your guy when we need a hammer dropped. Quiet, obedient, but very unsubtle.
HR - I've had a few AIs say it gets creepy when he's in downtime or interacting with his network presence. As far as I can tell, the big guy doesn't seem to do it on purpose, and I haven't had any notable issues raised about him from the crew.
Security Lead - Have you seen the new AI they sent us? Whose firstborn did they sell to get a military grade on staff? Is there something coming that I need to know about?

    Extra |
This is for anything you want to add. Want to put a specific outfit? Have a whole playlist instead of one song? Made a moodboard? Want to keep track of relationships? You can put that all here and whatever else you feel like!
