Today we did an AUDIT of the CODING LAB, which basically means we looked over the policies and needs of the forum and gave it an update. For something that was only ever meant to be a junk forum, there sure were a lot of dissenting opinions on what people wanted for it! O: Hopefully these updates will give peeps what they need while still letting moderators keep things tidy.
The Coding Lab is meant to be a place to work on your coding, and not a place to store and showcase your character sheets. Character collections for reference and sharing should be in SHOWCASING! However, we do understand that many people use it to store all of the bbcoding in a place they can easily find.
We've added a STORAGE prefix so you can signal to mods that this thread is not meant to be archived because you are actively using it.
Likewise we have added a ARCHIVABLE prefix so you can signal to mods that you are DONE with a thread! Perfect for one time use threads, finished projects, or just junk you don't need anymore.
Our run of archiving threads of 1 year of no activity has concluded! But we are continuing to archive any threads by Inactive, Deleted and Banned members on sight.
I have already gone and updated a few threads that are obviously storage threads, but I implore all members with threads in the Coding Lab to go in there and update their prefixes as needed! :D
