[Appearance]:
With an ever messy head of orange hair with equally fluffy ears and a tail, Krs is definetly an oddity in society. Her hair rests on her shoulders and is annoying in the wind(it blows everywhere and gets in her eyes). Her body isn't the greatest, but she's a normal weight, and has some muscle on her. Her teeth are sharper then a normal humans, and it's not just her canines that are sharp, it's all of her teeth. Thats why she always smiles with her mouth closed and doesn't talk around new people. Her skin is naturally slightly pale, but hours and hours in the sun has turned it into a tan. Long times indoors makes her skin pale. Her large amber eyes show her every emotion, and it's usually always curiosity and excitment. No visible scars marr her flesh, but there are some small scars littered around her arms and hands. Her hands are always moving, flexing, touching things she shouldn't, touching other people, drumming an odd rythm out on something, or petting an animal. There are random bobby pins attached to the inside of her turtleneck, but they're not that visible to those who don't know they're there.

She is able to talk to animals-any and all that surround her. Animals are less violent towards her, and will become docile if she were to pet them. She has a few pets that aren't exactly safe, but they still listen to her...most of the time. Talking to one type of animal will draw all the animals of that type to her within a 50ft radius. That may grow over time.

[Personality]:
A sweet girl, she likes to make friends with everyone she sees. An ever present smile is what draws people to her, and ensnares them in her web of happiness. Krs does have her dark moments though, and is sometimes a bundle of nerves that might explode at any small thing. She makes a friend of almost every animal around her, whether that animal already belong to someone else or not. She is easily flustered at times, but in battle always keeps her cool. But when she's in a bad mood(rarely), she tends to shut everyone out of her mind and can be seen chewing on something(usually a small piece of raw meat).
She might act like a mother sometimes, but her heart is just really open, and half of the time she acts like a little sister to everyone despite any age gaps that may exist, or if that person is older or younger then her. When she trusts someone, she trusts them fully and without fail, that said-she doesn't trust easily and will break bones for her friends. Not hers of course, the person who hurt her friend! Krstina is an odd ball of energy, and play pranks on anyone and everyone. She doesn't do it to the Boss though.
She holds deep respect for anyone stronger then her, and even more respect for those weaker, a product of being raised on the foundation that "Those who are stronger have accomplished greatly, those who are weaker have accomplished more."(An old saying passed down through her family.)
Sadly, every girl has her faults, and Krstina has them too. Some that are more noticable, and some that aren't. One of the major ones is that she's a bit of a kleptomaniac. She takes things on impule, but usually returns it sometime after. She's clingy to people, and won't let new people near those she views as her family(or the person she likes) until she's confirmed that they're okay. A habit of dipping her mind into the animal's around her and taking small bits of info on the people they've viewed started when she was young. If she jumps on a person's back and refuses to let go, it means that they're trusted by her. If she stops talking, it means there's either a new person nearby, or something she deems a threat. When she spends too much time away from people, she will start to breakdown and won't calm down until someone she trusts comes.

[Bio]:
Born to a plain family, she grew up in the forest, climbing trees and playing with the animals that roamed the forest. Her parents were of the middle class, neither rich, nor poor. Just...comfortable in their finances. They earned money by taming some of the predators in the forest and making them into 'pets' for the richer. She was happy with her life, not caring that she didn't show any signs of Abilities. Her parents worried though, and sometimes she would wake up in the middle of the night to discover her mother standing over her with her hands glowing, trying to see if her daughter had any powers at all, or if they had created yet another Normal. Her fox ears and tail were a beacon of hope that Krs would at least be a Beast, but she never showed signs of powers. Her parents would still take her into their workspace to teach her what they were doing.
No powers were found, and unlike her older brother who went off to a prestigous school to train with other Nature Types, while Krstina stayed at home and worked with her parents. She never interfered with their training, and only cared for the animals by bathing, feeding, and watering them. Taking the larger animals slabs of raw meat became normal for her, so on her first visit to a nearby city, she was amazed that they kept their pets on leashes. Dogs and cats were seen everywhere, and some Natures were followed by clouds of birds. After returning home that same day, she snuck into her brothers room and took his books, the ones he had learned about his powers from, and memorized them, all 5 books, with about 7000 pages altogether. She practiced how she would mend broken arms, and talk to the animals in her dreams, and often woke up with books falling off her bed in the middle of the night. She was never a heavy sleeper, quick to wake up at the slightest sound that wasn't normal.
On her 17th birthday, she got a pet snake, and named him Scales. Original, right? She thought so at the time and paraded around the house with him around her neck. She soon learned that he changed with her mood though, and one day when she was in a particularly bad mood, Scales turned into a cobra, and scared the crap out of Krstina's parents. She didn't panic though, and a simple stroking of Scales'...scales, calmed him down, making him change back into his most common form, a ball python. Her parents were intrigued on how this had happened, and attempted to take Scales from her on many occasions, to try and see what made him different from her other pets. This went on for about a year, and on her 18th birthday, right as she was blowing out the candles on her cake, everything stopped.
She was confused and circled her parents many times, tapping them and trying to get them to respond. They didn't, and when a mysterious woman appeared in the living room, she freaked out. She didn't try to run, but Scales did try to attack said woman, before freezing around Krstina's neck. Terrified for her pet, she demanded that the woman explain what was happening, before her voice failed her. After the woman disappeared and time resumed as normal, she went to the nearest phone and dialed the number, telling the person that she wanted to go. After hanging up the phone, she turned to her confused parents and merely smiled, telling them that they would find out soon. She packed her bags and was in the forest the night after the woman had appeared, when she discovered that she could talk to the animals and that they were following her more then usual. She was overjoyed that she could now use Abilities, and tested all of her abilities out, exausting herself to the point where she passed out in the forest. The animals took care of her, and she woke up with a deer curled up around her with a bear and wolf watching over. She naturally took this as normal and fed both animals some treats before heading back to her house to wait for the car. She wasn't going to admit that she was the smallest of bits scared of what would happen, but she knew that whatever did happen, she couldn't be in that much danger with her new friend Shard the wolf!(and Scales, of course, how could she forget him?)

Telikannisis, manifest his chi in several ways one making his skin much harder, mind shield, camouflage, enhanced speed, etc, thousand mind slice which is when he can use his sword to slice through really tough psychic barriers, flying, fire breathing, regrowing limbs on himself or others only if he or they has enough blood and energy and only used in extreme cases. the phantom step which can be used for closing the gap quicker not having to touch the ground as often. Teleport short to medium distances with up to three people, Aura vision energy drain, his sword can morph and use the same skills as him but over a shorter duration.

Other Skills:
Skilled martial artist while he is often seen with his sword he's just as capable with his hands, he's a decent chef, has a great understanding of herbology. Tracking and hunting, Old langs and history, Farming and massages yes he will cut his claws before he gives a massage. Removing poisons and making them though he prefers not making them as a rule. Body and mind manipulation meaning he can slow his heartbeat down a lot, breathe better than some in mountains because he can change the airflow in his lungs, the downside is that it's fairly taking on the mind and body and should be used sparingly.

Personality:
While he's normally easy going and hate pointless fights and violence, he's not a saint so it's not a good idea to push him to the point where he won't feel bad about hurting one badly. He also loves to party from time to time, he also likes his downtime when he's not training or helping. He doesn't talk about his past much, but he does his best to learn from his past mistakes and not repeat them. While he is an instructor within reason he expects his students to think outside the box in some cases. Because he comes off as easy-going often it makes it easier for him to get on with most people, but if he's serious you will know it because his eyes grow cold and darker. Secretive to most people and keeps his mind guarded. He hates people that think they are special and the law doesn't apply to them when they kill and steal and such for no reason, he will turn a blind eye to smaller crimes such as stealing food and basic medicine because it's natural to want to live to help loved ones.

Bio: Not much is known about Siloc, given his secretive nature, but he can the headmistress go way back as comrades, he's searched her out and explained that he's fallen on hard times for a number of reasons and is happy to work as an instructor. He was looking after Xena and taught her many things, but due to an incident with in the mercs he suddenly had to leave.
Perhaps this is karma for his past, either way, he looks at it this is a chance to start a fresh and train the next generation and to help them and hope that they don't make the same mistakes he's made and can't take back

    • Body Type: Toned and curvy.

    • Style: Thomasine usually wears dark eye makeup and neutral to earthy lipliner. Other than that, she keeps to her normal light tan complexion. Her skin darkens to a nice bronze once she is out under the sun a lot. Her hair is usually trimmed at chin length, but does grow it out to shoulder length during fall/winter. Right now she sports a part with long hair sweeping over her right eye and putting on rather heavy eye makeup.
    She does have quite the youthful face. There is a sweetness about her face that allows her to pass off for a school girl of 16-18 years old... that is until she lowers her chin and gives you 'the stare.' Her style is not that of a typical teen however. She wears more mature-styled clothing, but tends to err on the side of 80s-90s sensibilities... although she does have a weakness for all things with pandas on them. She does train and work out a lot and you may often find her swimming and riding bikes-- both motor and pedal-powered. And so she does tend to wear brands, shoes and gear reflecting her activities. But if she can go bare-foot she will do so.​

She does not care for lazy people, but will try to get others to get off their asses and do something too. She has been training all her life to take on the role of 'Rescinder' for her family.     • + | Calm and Thoughtful - . The world could burn around her and she wouldn't so much as bat an eyelash. The girl is not the most spontaneous person, but she is, however, one of the most prepared. Actions have consequences and she always is considering them.

She tends to form strong bonds with people she cares for and that being the case, she defends them even if it means excessive use of violence to protect them.

    • - | Twisted SuperHero Complex - . A hero. She truly believes she is a hero. Thomasine killed murderers, rapists, child abusers, hate criminals, kidnappers and fed off of them. She thinks she is making the world a better place each time she kills; she is giving the world a 'cure.'

All her actions have the consequences considered and as such, she has become somewhat arrogant; she is 'Rescinder' blooded afterall. And over the formative years, that subtle arrogance has turned her rather aggressive. And now if she can get away with it, Thomasine will even enter killing or even cold blooded murder into the equation.' She is very dangerous; a ticking bomb set to explode with bloody red violence.
    • - | Soft Heart but Bloodine Bound- . As murderous and aggressive as she is, she does have too much sympathy for Lessthans. Of all people, it is they who have been targeted the most from all the hate and bigotry by Morethan humans. If she can spare money or time, she will aid those in need. She is very tender and compassionate to those whom she loves, but she must-- and will-- follow without question orders given to her by her family. Especially from reigning Matriarch, La Premiere Mère LaFée.

    - When Powerful body type is used to push her physicality greater than possible (ex. accelerates self-healing) she requires 'feeding'. She will have to drink blood or eat flesh of fallen enemies.
    - Does not have the ability to shift into an animal yet.
    Mind
    • Clairvoyance: The power to visually perceive events that are taking place elsewhere or sense places that are not in view (200' range, wall restriction but open doors or windows work). Ability gives her a 'danger sense' and allows her to react quicker in situations that call for quick reflexes or reactions. Night vision also works with this power.
    • Telepathy: The power to read/sense another person's thoughts, communicate with them mentally (line of sight or else 100') and/or control/manipulate their minds/thoughts (line of sight).
    - Telepathy used to mind control may give her temporary madness if used too long. The thoughts of others she tried to control will haunt her and she may believe that they are her own thoughts. Diving in dark waters helps her calm and alleviate the madness.
    - Telepathy used to read thoughts leaves her with a ringing in her head that may lead to migraine headaches if she uses the power too often and too strong.
    • Telekinesis: Telekinesis is the ability to manipulate and control objects/matter with the mind (max. 60lbs.).
    - Telekinesis use always increases her desire to 'feed.'

    Not exactly a black sheep of the family but then again, not really the most praised either, and yet Thomasine was a most welcome breath of fresh air to the stuffy lives of the House LaFée. They found her quite entertaining to watch over the years: an insane wolf in killer sheep's clothes yet serene as the pools she swam, a gentle friend of the night-wandering street people yet an bloodthirsty enemy to those violent offenders that cheated justice, and of course, a repugnant atheist yet a loyal-beyond-death LaFee.​
    Ever since Thomasine could walk, was she trained to be a LaFée proper. Only child to Martine-Marie Antoinette LaFée and, to a-person-who-may-never-be-named-or-known, she was raised in the lap of excess and luxury. And as such she was to be groomed to be heir to her family's fortune and weapon-making companies. You see, the LaFée's are a powerful family with tonnes of old money invested into the major money-making bloodlines of the world. They consider themselves a 'House' and prefer to be referred to as 'from House LaFée.' Self important titles would have others call her then as: Ms. Thomasine-Jolie Leciel of House LaFée. A proud member of the family she was, but a bleeding heart she became and volunteered at shelters and kitchens to help the less fortunate.​
    But it was 9 years ago that was her defining moment. She had been doing her routine socialization training and so she was to take part in a business deal with an old client of the House. It was here where she found out the client in the room was more than they represented. Yes, this person was a major connection and longtime customer of the LaFée's but they had never known if the rumours were true about them. Conversation even skirted said rumours. But for whatever reason, this person admitted it. And so casually. Smug even. "And don't you worry, Maman Martine, we will definitely separate the goods from the bodies. Imagine if those kids had weapons with them in the same cargo box? They'd blow a hole in that steel and try to take over the ship. How would we explain that--" the sentence never finished. Thomasine was on them in less than a heartbeat, claws and fangs bared, set to rip out their throat. She was easily pulled back, but the damage had been done; she had shredded their mind.
    In the aftermath, they disposed of their contact and soon found they needed to 'feed' Thomasine to calm her down. What a total flustercluck of a situation they had found themselves. It would take some serious PR and major payouts to tiptoe their way out of this one.​
    But oh, the elation to find out their little TayZhee was an Other type Morethan. Perfect for the groomed heir to be one with such a combinations of abilities...!​
    Immediately she was prepped to become a 'Rescinder' for her family and thus she became bloodline loyal; extended family had to also see that she was well taken care of.. Rescinders held a very important position working for the LeFees; their main focus was to 'find loose ends and cut them off as effectively and quietly as possible.' Over the years, Thomasine became quite the little soldier, but to top that, she became an even better assassin known as Sirene.

    But the blackness that had ripped away from the dark of her heart had slowly began to rise with her ascension as a Rescinder. Her mind had shattered in parts that fateful day and some of those parts never truly healed. In her mind, Thomasine knew that she was a hero of the weak and downtrodden. Those victims of severe, brutal and unspeakable crimes would find revenge and she was that which would serve them. She was blade, bullet, and blood made to be the Bane of the Wicked.
    Any who escaped the Law, or those who were getting away with crimes she would kill. Even if you have already served your time, if she found out you were 'Wicked' she would 'cure you.' The cure is find you, kill you in secret, feed on your blood, dispose of you. She used a straight razor to slice at her victims throats where she fed, took the body to an open body of water and watched as it washed away with the current. The naked body would be adorned with shells, feathers, stones, flowers; anything that would symbolize tokens to allow passage to final rest. News media folks had nicknamed the unknown serial killer: 'Le Fantôme de la Noyade' in French-speaking Canada. It means The Drowning Ghost. And in English-speaking Canada adopted: 'Dead Ariel.' The name is a twist on a famous animated mermaid.​
    Thomasine believed she was a hero that was curing the world of its 'Wicked Disease.' But the House LaFée knew that it was only a matter of time before she deemed all humans as the scourge of life on earth unless she found help. And so, Thomasine was commanded to stop her ways before things got out of control. Her Old Lineage family in Canada sent her to New York to lay low and get lost into the crowd. Her murder streak could cause too much irreparable strife if found out. At first, watching her ritually prep, stalk, execute and clean-up was entertaining, but now it became too risky for their taste and even though she got away with it; enough was enough. She's been told to calm down and get some help before she was allowed to go home to Canada.​
    But then Thomasine's last psych eval came back; those thoughts of 'curing the world' kept surfacing and the psychic surgeon that the House sought was now imprisoned. It was only a matter of time before her 'curing streak' began anew.​
    And so they reached out to the only one that they thought could help her. Once more, they had dialed up the one the House calls The Luchis.

Elliot stands are 5'10", Dark brown hair swept back with fringe hanging over one side. He's littered with freckles and has a large scar running from just the bottom of his nose to just above his eyebrow. That eye that the scar runs through is blind- however still intact. The young man wears red circle lenses almost always- claiming they keep the lights from seeming so bright. He does have a tooth gap- something he's incredibly self-conscious about as he's the only one in his family to have it.

Elliot's ability is something of a legend amongst his family. Almost all are Mind types- however, he somehow gained an alternate type of Mind Ability. It wasn't until he was around ten years old his family started to notice shadows moving in corners and voices whispering whenever their son was put to bed. It was discovered he had a knack for Manifesting fears...specifically his own.
Elliot can do just that- Manifest his own fears. He still doesn't quite understand how it works- as the manifestation usually happens when he's sleeping or panicked.
Manifesting a fear willingly takes a lot out of him- mentally and physically. It typically makes him incredibly sick with his own fear and typically when it happens he'll refuse to sleep for a day or two at a time.
He's discovered a new component as well- Inducement. Should he feel backed into a corner- he can induce fear and horror in others...though the first and only time it's happened he sent out crashing waves of this inducement over a five-mile radius and caused an event of mass hysteria.


His other skills include

  • knowledge of baking, He loves to bake- while he doesn't enjoy sweets as much as he used to, he enjoys baking.
  • Strategizing, his father made sure to give him an at-home education of things he deemed importance.
  • He can read and translate Latin and Greek, coming from a religious family that taught him ancient languages.

  • Able to retain information easily but is rather forgetful when he's not paying attention.
  • Can solve a rubix cube, which he thinks is neat.

Elliot is rather a kind individual, however, life in the upper crust of civilization has left him with an upturned nose at certain others. He has a nasty habit of talking down to others, snapping at them should he get too agitated with them. Elliot tends to go on ramblings, should a conversation be struck on a subject o topic he quite enjoys, he will ramble on about it. Due to what little sleep he obtains, he's become quite paranoid and unbalanced- losing whatever grip on the manifestation he holds when he's awake. He has the best intentions when speaking to people, hoping to gain a friendship or two despite his social awkwardness being quite present. Elliot will also not hesitate to call someone out on their action and he isn't above petty arguments. After all, he's only twenty.

Elliot VanHellsing was always a sheltered child. He was the youngest of three children- his Older brother Jericho and older sister Daen being quite successful in their lives. He was expected of the same. He remembers very vividly his father forcing him to perform tests that should have awakened his ability- however, nothing ever arose. It wasn't until he was ten years old that his ability began to manifest...he remembers waking up to his father, who at that moment had the biggest smile he'd seen in all his childhood. Why, if he was awake enough he would have remarked how strange it was that his father was smiling so big.
Following his family's traditions, he was homeschooled and taught by his father- the man pushing for his youngest son's ability to manifest bigger and better and stronger than it had been previously. Now, while his family would proclaim their love for him undying, his parents were not above physical altercations in order to push their sons' ability out. That was, unfortunately, something the boy learned at age fifteen...when his father cornered him with a letter opener. Instead of pushing his son's ability out, he blinded him and left him with an imprint of fear. Something that was dangerous for him...He, upon turning eighteen, had promptly moved out of his parents' estate and placed himself in a different town...hoping to forget everything pushed on him there. The event two years later that ended up with him meeting that strange woman occurred because he had made the mistake of walking alone late at night- getting himself cornered by a group of drunk men. That's when he learned about the other part of his ability...the fear inducement.

Eighteen summers have passed since his grandiose emergence.
The Devourer measures at
five feet and eleven inches.
While the Devourer detests human terms of pronouns and presentation preference, he presents as male.
The Devourer is—regrettably—attracted to those of any gender... that is to say, he is pansexual.
One would call him an Other or perhaps even a Beast, though this is subject to further inspection.
The Devourer is currently not a part of a team.

He hails from the United States of America, with German, Russian, Romanian, Scottish, and English influences.


WARNING: There are non-explicit mentions of cannibalism, murder, violence towards children, and blood in this character profile—especially in his power set and biography. Please do not proceed if you are uncomfortable with this. Any requested changes to Cain's powers in order to make them less macabre will be made.

THE VISAGE OF THE DEVOURER:
  • HAIR: Short, dark, and constantly tousled in some way, shape, or form, his hair is nothing to marvel at. However, he takes good care of it and it's thick, fluffy, and shiny... for the most part. There is always the occasional tangle or knot stuck in his hair. He keeps forgetting to trim it and his bangs always flop over his eyes, but he likes it like that. In short: it is black, short, and always messy.
  • EYES: This young man has unnaturally bright red eyes, seeming to glow in the dark, with a dark, slightly-slitted pit of a pupil in the center of his eye. A ring of black sits in the middle of each of his irises, disturbing the sea of carmine. He has excellent night vision and eyesight in general. If one could get over the (usually) dead and slightly unnerving look in his eyes, they could be described as pretty: his irises are a bright crimson color, not too unlike freshly-spilled blood framed by long, dark lashes.
  • BODY: His skin is quite pale, always easy to burn in the sun. He, himself, stands at 5'11" (or about 180 cm.) and is slim and lanky. He's got a fair amount of muscle tone across the porcelain map of his body, but he's most definitely stronger than he seems. He also weighs more than one would expect of such a slim guy. He has dark bags underneath his eyes—it seems as though he hasn't been sleeping well as of late.
  • ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Cain has highly-decorated ears, laden with gunmetal gray, red, and black rings, studs, and such. He also has a throat dermal stud, usually covered by his shirt. While without any permanent tattoos of his own, he usually has a pen or marker on him that he uses to draw designs on himself when bored, so he has various drawings strewn across his arms that smudge after a bit. Unfortunately, this habit of drawing on himself when bored is not limited to simply pens and markers—it also extends to sharp objects. He has a few light scars that streak over his fingers due to this. He's taken up the hobby of body-stitching, so it's not uncommon to see streaks of red, black, or blue thread laced over his skin—he finds the pain exhilarating. He almost always wears his custom red-and-black gas mask, which covers his sharper-than-average canine teeth. He prefers dark, comfortable clothing.

TREMBLE BEFORE HIS ENDLESS POWER:
  • ABILITIES:
    • HIS BLOODLUST: An insatiable appetite sits within the creature that is he. The delectable meal that is the freshly-killed carcass endlessly entices him... which is to say: when he smells blood, whether it be animal or human, he experiences an adrenaline rush, among other things. He will then strongly desire to tear apart the bleeding one. With further practice, he may learn to fully control this urge, but for now... well, the gas mask he wears helps to protect others and conceal the scent—the front of it is packed with herbs and strong-smelling things—but it doesn't stop them from getting through. During this time, adrenaline rushes through his body and he has an intense fixation to do nothing but tear apart the bleeding one—think something like berserkergang without the superhuman strength. Strong sedatives, a different and stronger scent, and the incapacitation of his body may put a pause to this frenzy without the harming of the bleeding one. Staying away from the bleeding one until he is calm is also effective. This urge builds, though—it generally takes anywhere from a few seconds to ten minutes for the urge to start building, depending on how much blood was spilled; the fresher, the quicker. He is a hunter, after all, and it is dangerous to keep a predator away from its prey.
    • HIS THIRST: When he drinks the blood of/consumes the flesh of a living or formerly-living creature, he can gain an amount of that creature's abilities, depending on how much he consumes. The qualities of the creature gained vary greatly, and may not even stay the same even if eating the same creature. The qualities weaken depending on if the item is old, fresh, etc. and he might not gain any special abilities at all if what he ingests is something radically changed from its original form (i.e. if he eats a cake, he will not gain the powers of a chicken if there are eggs in it). He will only gain properties from dead creatures if they are fresh—less than one or two days old, with qualities weakening as time passes. Blood brings him energy and is somewhat of a necessary item for him; if he doesn't have blood for about a week, he may feel tired and listless. The blood of humans (or any possible equivalently-intelligent beings) works best. Also, he has preferences (as anyone does) that bring him greater happiness, but may or may not be effective in giving him desired properties. So far, he has not be observed to absorb personality traits, memories, or emotions from his activities, and the qualities have never stuck with him past two hours. Consuming his own blood has no noticeable effect.
    • HIS SENSES: Cain has heightened senses of hearing and smell. His senses of sight and taste are good, but nothing too above-average. His sense of touch is normal. His most powerful sense is his sense of smell—it's so keen that he can smell one's "aura" (one's boldest personality traits and if they are hostile to him/others or not). That is, by smelling their body and connecting the dots between smells, he forms an opinion of them.
    • HIS BONDS: Cain has the ability to form "blood bonds" with others. This is caused by smelling one's blood for an extended amount of time without consuming it, before consuming his own blood. This causes him to form a resistance against the urge to consume that specific entity's blood (as in, if he forms a blood bond with a pig named Lucy, then he is not resistant against all pigs' blood; only Lucy's). This also creates a weak empathetic link in which those who with the bond is shared may feel the other's emotions, depending on how strong they are. If he consumes this individual's blood, it will take more blood to gain special properties, but it gives him more energy. However, if he consumes too much blood, it may break the bond and he will become vulnerable to this individual's blood.
    • HIS POTENTIAL: Cain has only recently developed his powers—who knows what can happen? His power set might grow or shrink, adding in or taking away restrictions. Only Time can tell, and Time is a cruel master, indeed.
  • OTHER SKILLS:
    • HIS ATHLETICISM: Even without his powers, Cain is quite athletic. While he's no Olympian athlete, he was certainly one of the more athletic kids in class. He has a particular passion for speed-skating and soccer, though he doesn't indulge in these two sports much.
    • HIS STEALTH: He has a habit of sneaking up on people. He is very quiet and good at concealing himself.
    • HIS POLYGLOTISM: Cain is fluent in English, German, Russian, French, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, Norwegian, Romanian, and Latin. He also knows conversational Korean. He enjoys learning new languages and has quite the knack for it. He has an interest in learning Welsh, but hasn't quite gotten to it yet (though he can successfully pronounce "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch").
    • HIS HANDS: Cain is good with his hands—he's quite good at picking pockets and can whittle a sculpture like a champ. He is fairly good at doing card tricks and is adept at sewing and knitting. He used to play the piano, too, which adds to the nimbleness of his fingers. Unfortunately, this skill doesn't extend to drawing or writing—his handwriting is a disaster and his sketches are even worse.
    • HIS VOICE: Though he doesn't use it too much in daily life, he has a nice voice (in terms of singing, at least). That, along with a good sense of pitch, makes him a good singer. He can also mimic noises and sounds easily, which can come in handy. He does good impressions, even after only listening to someone's voice once or twice.

FEW KNOW THE DEVOURER IN HIS TRUE GLORY:
  • PERSONALITY:
    • HIS LOYALTY/STUBBORNNESS: Cain is faithful to a fault. He will stick by those he trusts through heaven and hell, and is highly protective over those he cares about. This means that it can be a bit tough to gain his trust, but in the end, he will never leave his friends' sides. However, this also means that his ideals are firmly set in stone, and it can be a difficult task to try and change his mind. Concerning people, first impressions make a big difference for him, and if he gets a bad feel from someone initially, he will likely keep that view in his head until they do something huge.
    • HIS CALMNESS/LAZINESS: It's hard to shake Cain—he's usually quite stoic, and few things actually "get to him." This allows him a level head in most situations, but sometimes he's a little too laidback, to the point where it is considered laziness. He likes his naps and loves to lounge around, doing nothing except for being a general nuisance. It takes a little prodding for him to do something, and it takes a lot of prodding to get him to do something he doesn't want to do (in which he will likely half-ass it).
    • HIS (EVENTUAL) PLAYFULNESS/ASSHOLERY: Once he gets comfortable around someone, he sort of latches onto them (as stated previously: he is protective and a bit of an attention hog). His sort of mischief is languid and deliberate, sort of like a cat batting items off a table after its owner told it not to. This behavior can be seen as endearing, but also incredibly irritating.
    • HIS VIGILANCE/STANDOFFISHNESS: He is well aware of outside threats and has a keen sense of danger, but this can cause him to push others away or act hostile to strangers. He may be prone to aggressiveness with new people, but it rarely escalates to actual violence—he knows how to rein himself in enough to not pounce on the first vaguely polite person he sees, but it's always good to remind new visitors that he isn't always successful in this endeavor.

Cain was a good boy.
A little odd, but then again, weren't most kids? His parents didn't pay too much mind to his quirks, because he was their only son and youngest child—everything about him was loved, from his peculiar eyes to his love of make-believe. He wasn't very social and didn't show any signs of having powers like some of his family members, but that was okay; his family was always there for him, showering with affection and adoration.
They were the very definition of a helicopter family. They were extremely protective (even pushing the line of possessive) over their littlest member, and he was quite sheltered from the horrors of outside.
Cain believed that he and his family were as rich as they came—after all, they were always happy. They usually got him most things he requested, so they obviously were well-off.
Truth was, they were pretty poor.
Cain was very young and didn't fully understand the concept of class division and wealth, but the fact that his family both physically and figuratively shielded him from the uglier views of their neighborhood greatly contributed to his ignorance towards how crappy the world was. He had a single good friend (morbidly yet appropriately named Abel) that ended up inadvertently showing him how it really was, but he still largely believed in the good in others.
That faith was crushed soon enough.
At the much-too-young age of eight, Abel died.
Unlike the interactions between the biblical brothers, Cain did not kill Abel. Abel and Cain happened to be walking back from the cinema with Abel's older brother when a sudden shooter appeared, gunning down and killing three people (and wounding six) before fleeing the scene.
A tragedy, the reporters cried. a true tragedy! What a terrible loss of human life! We need to clean up our town!
Yet help never came.
Cain never knew why that man harmed so many people. He never knew why the press promised to make his town a better place when next to nothing changed at all. He never knew why Abel, Daniel, and Mrs. Martinez—three people that he cared deeply for—were shot and killed.
All too quickly, Cain became jaded and stoic. He saw the world completely differently and, in an effort to cope with his friend's death, he took on the alter ego "The Devourer" from a game that he and Abel played when he was alive. From then on, he referred to himself in the third person, using the moniker "The Devourer" and occasionally narrating his thoughts and actions.
Life went on.
Tragedy struck again on the night of his eighteenth birthday (and Abel's deathday). He was simultaneously celebrating and mourning by playing Demon Feast 2 in his room when he heard gunshots again.
Cain raced to the living room, being met with the dying bodies of his parents and sister, a lone man standing in front of them with his hood drawn over his head. The man's gun-holding hand was shaking—he likely broke into their home with the intention to steal things, not expecting anyone to be home due to the fact that their lights were off.
The man looked to Cain.
Cain looked back. His vision went red, and he charged.
He didn't remember much of anything about his attack except for anger, despair, and the warm splash of coppery on his tongue.
Afterwards, his other sister found him passed out on the floor next to four dead bodies, with one of them... missing a few parts.
Cain woke up in a freshly cleaned house, laying in his bed with his sister sitting next to him. She tended to him and helped him understand what happened to the best of her ability. Truthfully, she didn't really know what happened, but she believed in Cain and the good in him. They were both in over their heads and they knew it.
"Let's experiment with this," Seraphine—his living sister—suggested. "It could be important."
Cain woozily agreed and, seeing as though both he and his sister were numb to the loss of their family for the time being, they began their experimenting.
A few days later, they were experimenting with store-bought animal blood in their home when a strange, dark-haired woman appeared in front of him with a card and some curious words. After the world went back to normal, he explained the experience to his confused sister and told her that he would call the number on the card. He said that he'd go (it was a valuable experience, after all) and, after buying a specialized gas mask and preparing his bags, he hugged his sister goodbye and went on his way.
If nothing else, Cain Vonnegut was sure that this would be an interesting experience.

    • Cain likes sweets, dairy products, red things, big fish (he thinks they're cool), learning new languages, most music, video games, and reading.
    • Cain dislikes spicy food, loud things, large and empty spaces, crowds, abstract art (he just doesn't get it!), strangers, fighting, and gunshot noises.
    • He wasn't a very good student—while he was good with languages, athletic, and enjoyed reading (especially classic literature and poetry), he just hated school. He didn't apply himself to the curriculum and ended up being a subpar student. If he tried harder, he could've gotten better grades (though his writing skills were... bad and he was average at math; he could've gotten far better physical education and foreign language grades, though).

    • Calm and Collected: It is incredibly hard to faze Scott as his many years of meditation has taught him how to remain calm and find peace in even the most dire scenarios. He does have one weakness, however.
    • Sence of Humor: Scott loves jokes. Although it may be hard to get him to laugh, since he does have a stoic personality, mild persistence will eventually bring him to tears and howling laughter.
    • Friendly and Naive: Tends to believe in people too quickly, doubting that new friends could have ulterior motives. Scott likes to think that there's good in everyone, and reaches his hand out to all. His smile is warm, and it takes a LOT to actually make him mad.
    • Volcanic Rage: When he is made angry, however, it is catastrophic. Since he rarely tends to let himself become angry, his emotions bottle up over time, and when he's finally pushed past his limit it drives him into an unstoppable, violent frenzy.

    • He was raised in an orphanage from as long as he can remember
    • The orphans that were living there were treated horribly, and one day Scott got fed up with it all and attempted to flee the site
    • He fled into the mountains, and eventually found a small, wooden house where a kind old lady was living, alone.
    • The kind lady invited the small boy to live with her, stating that she had always wanted a child but was unable to because she couldn't bear children.
    • Scott lived with the lady for the next 10 years of his life. He was taught about the truths of the world from her, about corrupt societies and true evils.
    • Everyday, he would walk with the lady to the peak of the mountain and meditate with her.
    • One day, the kind lady passed, and left her small house in the mountains to Scott, who she saw as her own son.
    • The sadness he felt now being alone sparked new powers within him.
    • In all his life he had never left the orphanage, nor the mountain. The concept of Morethans and special powers was foreign to him. And the one that taught him everything he knows was no longer with him.
    • That's when she appeared.
  • Scott is far more comfortable using abilities that stem from his power as a Mind, rather than his power as a Nature. Thus his abilities, and his usage of them, reflect this.
    • Energy Manipulation: Scott can manipulate the energy/stamina of any living creature that any part of his skin is touching. He cannot create nor destroy energy, but he can transfer it out of living creatures, and into others. This allows him to absorb the energy from any enemies, give his own energy to allies, and transfer energy from one person to another. He can also use this ability on animals, and plants.
    • Illusionist's Double: Scott is able to create an exact replica of himself that can move and speak just like him. This copy is, however, an illusion, and doesn't take up any physical space. The copy will appear to be wearing exactly what he was wearing at the time of creation, and carrying anything that he was carrying at the time of creation. He is only currently able to create one of these at a time, attempting to create another one immediately dissipates the first one.
    • Calm Space: When Scott closes his eyes and meditates, he creates a small zone around him, around 10 ft in diameter. Anyone resting within this zone will find that their wounds are slowly, but surely, healing. The time it takes to heal depends on the severity of the wound. Cuts, scrapes, and bruises will be healed in a couple of seconds, while broken bones will take several minutes. Also, this zone only exists while Scott is meditating, so any kind of distraction (enemy attack or environmental danger) will destroy the zone.
    • Silent Soldier: Has experience traversing all terrain in bare feet and can move quickly without a sound
    • Hand to Hand Combat: Is trained in marital arts, specializing in counters and throws
    • Cooking: Has been cooking for himself most of his life and has experimented with a lot, granting him the experience of a moderately ok chef

Psionic Augmentation
He is able to empower his body with psionic energy to enhance his physical capabilities both in agility and strength. However due to the siphoning effect of the suit, he is unable to fight at full strength. With the suit on, he will be fighting at 10% his strength. He is able to momentarily increase it to 30% if he feels the need to. Anymore than that and the suit will attempt to incapacitate him.​

Psionic Discharge
Through the use of various ports around the suit, he is able to release bolts and streams of psionic energy. It is also used as a power source for his suit.​

Psionic Constructs
The user can channel psionic energy into his gauntlets and shape it into tools, objects and weapons to accomodate for the many fighting styles he had absorbed. The psionic constructs are all temporary objects which disappear after a short time if he is not holding them to provide a constant stream energy to stabilize their structure. Its limited to simple shapes such as spears, shields and swords. He can only form weapons he has seen before.​

Psionic Guardian
A humanoid manifestation of the user's will. A semi-autonomous construct that fights for the preservation of its master. It acts based on the user's instinct rather than command and is only about 50% as strong as the user at full power. It has an effective range of 2 metres.

For now, these abilities are deemed too dangerous for both him and his team as it requires him to remove his helmet. Without his helmet, the user will involuntarily radiate a toxic psionic field that threatens the sanity of everyone around him, including himself.​

Either due to the incident or perhaps his original disposition, Red lacks the ability to understand certain social norms and thus is prone to respond to situations very oddly. That being said, he does seem to be willing to learn or at least tolerate his peers.​
  • Aloof​
He is usually cold and distant towards everyone as he feels that he may become a hazard to them if they get too close to him. Additionally, he wants to avoid distractions from his true objective, to become whole again.​
  • Prone to violence​
While he finds it hard to admit, he does enjoy using violence to solve problems due to its effectiveness. Perhaps this is the result of absorbing the memories of bloodthirsty fighters of the pit.​
  • Protector of the weak
Has a strong urge to protect those who are weak and powerless. Perhaps this sense of duty stems from all the horrific acts that he may or may not have committed.

Bio:​

In truth, he does not know how many of these memories are his own, but according to eye witness testimonies, he was just another lessthan pit fighter. An individual forced to fight for their survival and the entertainment of the crowd. Based on what he can remember, shortly after awakening to his new power, he challenged the pit boss to a fight for an unknown reason. The clash between the two was what likely the cause of the psionic resonance incident. Many of those present were either injured, killed or became mentally deranged from having their minds intertwine with one another.​

The incident led the BR to investigate the area only to find the remnants of an arena and "Red" at the epicenter. The survivors who have made full recovery were unable to provide helpful information and strangely the pit boss's body was never found. His powerful but unstable psionic power required him to wear a suit that suppressed and regulated his abilities to a safe level. Additionally, they even went as far as implanting a special chip to the back of his head which could be used to incapacitate him if needed.​

Throughout this time, he was confused and frustrated. The only thing he truly knew at this point was he was a pit fighter known as "Red". Everything else seemed to be up for debate. He had memories of horrific crimes, political assassination attempts and even spending time with family members that may or may not be his. That was when the "lady" came to him….​

Equipment:​

Psionic regulation armor
An armor made specifically to dampen his powers, making them less deadly to both friend and foe. It also makes it easier for him to channel psionic energy into specific parts of his body.​


Psionic regulation helmet
A helmet that suppresses the involuntarily psionic field generation. Also prevents the user from more mind-based abilities such as telepathy and telekinesis. Thankfully, it also prevents other Mind-type morethans from reading his mind.​

Psionic regulation gauntlets
A pair of gauntlets used to channel his energy for both range and melee attacks. He also uses them shape the psionic energy into different weapons.
Extra:​
-Apart from the lady and a few officers, no else has seen him without his helmet as removing it presents a risk to everyone around him.​
-The only place he removes his helmet and suit is his room which is specifically made to contain and temporarily suppress his condition.​
- He is frequently seen playing around with a coin of unknown origin. He believes that it has something to do with his past.​
- Writes multiple journals of what he remembers to slowly determine which memories are his.

Abilities:
Glutton: Xena can consume any food or object to provide her energy. Her energy is what drives her strength to use D'artagnan.

Charge: D'artagnan absorbs energy to charge and power up the core, granting Xena armor during until the energy is drained.

Horn Breaker: Xena runs down an enemy, knocking aside anyone in the way. When she reaches her target she knocks it into the air, jumps after it, and slams it back into the ground.

Pulverizing Blows: Xena gains attack speed with enough energy and uses this to punches a combo to a target with D'artagnan.

Magic Power: Healing and Regeneration

Battle Roar: Xena roars after dealing damage to enemies, to heal herself and two allies nearby

Bio:
Born with nothing to lose. Xena Hofahala was born with no parents and grew up to have no friends nor people to trust. She learned that the easiest to live in life was just to trust herself and only herself. But her outlook in life has changed when she meets a dragon named Solic. He is the one who she has seen as a family. Her instructor, her teacher, her brother. Even if they really aren't blood related she already sees it that way. And so that she swears that she will do her best to make Solic proud of her. Challenging herself to do a lot of new things and hoping that she will never fail him.

But they have suddenly separated and there Xena learned again how to protect herself. Fighting through every challenge to victory. She hoped to see him once again and she wanted to listen to his stories once again
